Ren plugged in his headphones, and set down at least six cans of coca cola before turning on his computer. Gakushū wanted him to find out the identity of the mysterious person mixing the unknown substance in the drinks, and he promised his best friend the results before he and Karma return home.

He replayed the video sent to him by Gakushū, eyes glued to the blurry person in the back.

He zoomed closer and closer. But of course, the more he zoomed, the more blurry the image got. Reaching for another can, he typed a code in his computer.

"Who are you?" He muttered.

He remembered the reunion party, he was mingling with old friends, classmates, and even met up with his high school exes. Hell he even talked to a few former E-class students from their year. Mainly Nagisa, Isogai, Maehara, and the blonde beauty Nakamura. Damn she grew up into such an angelic--

"Focus!" He slapped himself. He needed to focus on his task.

The footage was slowly becoming clearer. Just ten more minutes perhaps, and the identity of the mysterious person would be cleared up.

Bzzt! Bzzt!

He looked at his phone, vibrating. Okuda left him some messages.

Okuda Manami and him recently started getting acquainted. His sister worked in the same lab as Okuda and is her assistant. His sister and Okuda strike a close friendship, so whenever he'd pay a visit the two would be together. So, he too got to know Okuda, the girl he knew in junior high only as "that weird science geek who could potentially poison an entire classroom of students"

Rumors also spread back then that she was Akabane's girlfriend, so he stayed away from her.

"Asano would be jealous" Ren thinks with a snicker.

Okuda-san: Sakakibara-kun, how are you? Did you hear about Karma and Asano-kun's situation? It was quite the shock

Okuda-san: The media is buzzing about it. Karma must be under a lot of stress

Me: Yep. I've heard. Everyone had. I yelled at Asano. He was freaking out so much lmao, as for Akabane, Shu said he's surprisingly calm about the whole thing

Me: Anyway Gakushū sent me a video about that night, they found something that could be important.

Okuda-san: Really? What is it?

Me: In one of the videos. They saw someone in the back pouring an unknown substance(probably some type of drug given what happened) into the beverage bowl. The video's too blurry, it's also glitching, so I'm trying to fix it

Okuda-san: who do you think would do this? Someone who had a personal vendetta against Asano-kun or Karma?

Me: Who knows? I don't. That's why I'm trying to figure out who the person in the video was. Shu is impatient for the results

Ren looked up from his phone. His computer screen was glitching, the words ERROR ERROR in big bold red letters flashed in front of his eyes. followed by SYSTEM GLITCH

"What the hell?!" He hit the side of his computer, only to flinch when sparks started coming from the back. "Fuck!" He ran out of his office to find a fire extinguisher.
