Edd was working on an experiment, one that was more of an emotion than science; Love. He's never really liked anyone, he reads about it a lot though. Then a bang at the door.
Edd walked to the door and opened it.
"Kevin? What are you doing here?" Edd asked looking at the red head, with the backwards red hat.
"Look, Dork, I know your friends are jackasses and left you. So come to my party and bring another set of clothes." Kevin said and gave him an invitation.
"Thank you." Edd said.
"Yeah, whatever." Kevin said.
Kevin walked in and sat down.
"Don't know why they ever stopped being your friend." Kevin said as Edd sat by him. "I mean, didn't your parents get rich?"
"Yeah, I stay here. They pay my bills till I'm 18, then I have to pay for everything myself." Edd said.
"Why would they throw you out?" Kevin asked.
"Well, you see Kevin. They thought I'd change. They thought I would get too caught up in the money. That's what they said anyways.
"But I'm not stupid, I know that they were upset that I wouldn't give them my money. They thought I was being selfish. Was I?" Edd asked.
"No, you needed food, and clothes. You also have to save up, for when you parents cut you off. I don't blame you."
"Thank you, someone understands." Edd sighed.
"Hey, come tonight. It would be fun." Kevin said.
Edd nodded and walked Kevin to the door.
