"Sure, that sounds good.  I would think we would be, it's just helping him pick out a gift for Jimin.  Surely he can't be that picky in what he wants to get." I lied.

"You'd be surprised." she giggled as I turned the water off.  We both dressed and cooked a quick breakfast together, eating while sitting and enjoying each other's company.  Things really couldn't be better between us.  Everything felt so natural with her, we are always super happy, and we very rarely had disagreements.  I could see the change in her as well, and that was one of the things that made me happiest.  She was confident and sure of herself, like she used to be before she was with Minho.  It was beautiful to see.  I also could see how this right here, was real love.  I realized the so called love I had with Jisoo wasn't real.  Yeah, we were mainly happy, but we didn't have this kind of connection, this deep care and affection for each other.  Jisoo and Minho didn't even pop up in conversation anymore, which was nice.  It was like they had completely faded from our lives and it was refreshing to say the least. 

"Alright babe, I'm headed to my appointment.  Don't be late or you will make Tae anxious." she said, walking over and kissing me on the top of my head as I sat down and put my shoes on.

"Don't worry, I won't.  I am going to be leaving here in a couple of minutes." I replied as she rubbed my back.

"Good. I'll see you soon, love you!" she called as she grabbed her keys and opened the door.

"Love you too baby." I called out as she blew me a kiss and shut the door.  I let out a breath I felt like I had been holding all morning as I got ready to go meet Tae.

As I pulled up to Tae's apartment and knocked on the door, he opened the door with a huge smile, backing up and letting me inside.

"So, I see things are still going well with you and Jimin." I smirked, pointing to the rather large hickey on his neck.

"No, she does.  She thinks I am helping you pick out something to buy for Jimin.  The real reason I wanted to meet you, is I know her birthday is coming up, and I could really use your help." I answered, as he smirked.

"Oh I know exactly what you should do.  Two words: Surprise party.  I have been trying to throw her one for YEARS but Minho was never game.  He was always a big fucking dumb cunt in the mud." he grinned.

"I think the expression is stick in the mud." I chuckled as he shrugged.

"Eh, I like this one better." he smirked.

"A surprise party, really?  I mean I have no doubt she would love that, especially if all of our friends are there, but I don't know shit about planning parties." I replied as he clapped his hands and rubbed them together.

"Don't you worry your pretty little head about a thing, we got this." he said, pulling his cellphone from his pocket.  When he said he had it, he wasn't kidding.  Within the hour I was there, we planned the guests, decorations, snacks, cake, even the lie I was going to tell her to convince her to get out of the house so Jimin could help me set up. 

"I'm not going to lie, I am shit at keeping secrets.  I am so worried I am going to say something wrong and blow it." I said, running my hand over the back of my head.  Tae grabbed my face in his long fingered hand and angled it toward him with a stone serious look on his face.

"You blow this thing, I will make sure they never find your body.  My mafia connections will be sure of it." he said, as I couldn't help but grin at him.

"Alright, alright.  I will just avoid anything that has anything to do with her birthday until I tell her about the ruse to get her out of the house." I said, as he still narrowed his eyes at me but let got of my face.

"Good.  I would hate to have to have you killed right before her birthday. Would kind of put a damper on the day." he replied as I rolled my eyes and shook my head.

"Ya think?  Anyway, thank you for helping me with this, but I actually  need to go meet her for lunch.  You really think 2 weeks is enough time?" I asked as I stood.

"Ye of little faith.  I got this, now go so she doesn't get suspicious.  That woman is like a bloodhound when it comes to sniffing things out sometimes." he said, waving me towards the door as he stood as well.

"Oh great, that bodes well for keeping the secret." I said as I opened the door.  As I left and drove to the café we decided to meet at, all I could think about was how I was going to keep this a secret from her, especially if she got suspicious at all.  When I walked into the café, she was seated already, waving to me as she caught my eye.

"Hey baby, your nails look nice." I said as she smiled at me.

"Thanks love.  Did you have fun with Tae?  What did you guys wind up buying?" she asked as I swallowed.  Fuck, I didn't even think of what to say.

"We wound up going to the department store and picked up some nice clothes, and some fuzzy pj pants that Jimin likes." I said as she looked at me with an eyebrow raised.

"The department store..." she asked, her face deadpan.

"Yeah, why?" I asked as she slightly crossed her arms.

"Taehyung would never buy something that was not a label when it comes to clothes." she said, as I felt my palms getting sweaty.

"Uhhh, y-yeah but I told him this is what Jimin liked." I said, trying to keep from looking her in the eyes.

"Alright, what is going on?  Tae would never concede." she said as I looked at her and felt my heart hammering in my chest.   I sighed and wiped my hand down my face before reaching forward and holding her hands.

"Fine.  Look, I am shit at keeping secrets, you know this.  I really went over there, because I booked a spa day for you and Tae for your birthday and he was helping me pick out spa treatments he knew you would love because I don't know anything when it comes to that kind of thing, and I figured he would." I said, as she opened her mouth, her eyes widening.

"O-Oh, I'm so sorry I ruined the surprise, babe!"  she said as I pulled her hands to my face and kissed the back of them.

"Don't worry, love.  I would have had to tell you eventually." I replied as she smiled softly.

"You are so sweet.  But, why isn't the spa day going to be with you?" she pouted, making me laugh.

"I wanted you two to have this time together.  Plus my real gift to you comes later that night." I winked, making her giggle and squeeze my hands.

"Thank you so much, Yoongi." she said as I kissed her hands again.

"You more than deserve it, love." I replied.  After the ruse was set up, my nerves calmed down a good bit.  I still managed to be a little nervous for the remaining two weeks, but thankfully I didn't let anything at all slip, right up to the morning she dressed and Tae picked her up to go to the spa. 

"Surprise!! Your party fairy is here!" Jimin said as I opened the door for him five minutes after they left for the spa.

"Thank God.  Alright, I paid Jin to pick up the catering from that restaurant she loves, he will be here in an hour and a half.  We only have two hours to get this place party ready!" I said, looking panicked. 

"Hey hey, calm down.  The hard part is over, you got her out of the house and you didn't spill the beans, I am proud of you!  Now, let me work my magic." he grinned.  I don't know how we did it, but we managed to decorate the living room, dining room and kitchen all in purples, blues and silvers for her party.  It looked very elegant actually, and I was shocked how well it all came together.  As the guests started to arrive, I began to pace a little, making Jimin laugh at me.

"What's wrong with him?" Hoseok asked as he helped Jin set the food up.

"Oh he's just nervous.  Yoongi, why don't you go get changed for the party, we will finish setting the food up." Jimin suggested as I nodded and let out a slow breath.

"Yeah, yeah that's a good idea. " I replied, walking back to the bedroom.  I quickly changed and as I was pulling my sweater down over my head, I heard my phone buzz.

Tae: About to leave the spa.  IT'S GO TIME!!!!

"Fuck, they are coming!" I shouted as I rushed out of the bedroom and started turning off all but the porch light.

"Ow, you're stepping on my hand!" Jungkook whisper shouted.

"Sorry, that was me." Namjoon whispered back as I heard Jin stifle a giggle.  As I saw the car pull into the driveway, the headlights shining through the sheer curtains, I swallowed and could do nothing but hold my breath.
