~ Noona's POV ~

"You're being awfully quiet." He said breaking the silence between us.

I had been looking out the window since we got into the car, unable to really look at him. I didn't even know what to say back, so I didn't respond at all.

"Babe?"

Still nothing.

Honestly, I was too focused on not crying and keeping myself neutral to be able to actually form words.

"Are you acting this way because of what I said at dinner? Come on, you asked me to keep you motivated."

"Yeah but I didn't ask you to be a dick about it." I snapped back unable to keep it in. I was so hurt by the way he treated me...it was completely unnecessary.

"I wasn't being a dick. You know how bad pasta is, and you said you were going to try to do Keto and you've been doing well. I just wanted you to keep it up."

"That's not what I'm talking about and you know it."

"What? The dancing thing...come on..."

"Do you really think me dancing is that ridiculous?" I asked finally turning towards him. "It's dancing."

He had his right hand on the wheel, his left elbow on the driver's door with his head laying in the palm of his hand.

He sighed heavily and I swear I saw him roll his eyes. "Babe, I was just saying that the classes Jisoo takes are nearly pro classes. She's been doing it for a long time and she is smaller than you. Its not something everyone can do." He looked over at me, and all I could do was stare at him.

He does this all the time. He says something, and then later clarifies what he means. It doesn't make it hurt any less in that moment.

He sighed again, taking hold of the wheel with his left hand and moving his right hand to take my hand that I had laying in my lap.

"I didn't mean to upset you. Maybe if you start with a beginner class you can work your way up."

"Maybe." I replied looking back out the window. I did lace my fingers between his feeling a little better after he explained. I wish he would have just said that to begin with.

"Are you still upset with me?" He asked in a teasing voice.

"No." I replied, not in the mood to be teased.

"You sure as hell seem like it." He replied, his tone now annoyed.

I didn't say anything again and just looked down at our interlaced fingers. Looking at how loosely his hand was around mine and how tightly mine was around him made my chest sting.

"I'm not mad. I just wish that you would say what you mean the first time. Then I wouldn't feel shitty about myself, and then feel bad about taking what you say wrong later."

He shook my hand from his and resumed his driving with his right hand and his left arm leaning on the car. "Why do you insist on fighting every time we go on a double take with Yoongi and Jisoo? Seriously every time we go out with them we end up leaving angry at one another."

"No, you just get upset because Yoongi actually calls you out on the asshole things you say to me."

"And you take his side!" he replied raising his voice. "I'm your boyfriend. Me. Not Yoongi."

"Yoongi is my best friend, he is just looking out for me."

"Fuck that. I don't like the way he spoke to me." He said through his teeth. "And you just fucking sat there and let him be a dick. I'm your boyfriend, you should have told him that I was just trying to help you."

He was looking straight ahead, refusing to look at me once since he let go of my hand. I was so tired of fighting with him. Half of the fights we have these days he blames on Yoongi. He knows Yoongi has nothing to do with what we fight about; he just never takes responsibility for it.

I let out a deep sigh and looked back out the window. My throat felt tight, and it was getting hard to breath. I hate crying. I hate crying, and worst I hate crying in front of Minho. I found myself choking back tears deep in my throat more often than I like to admit.

I decided to just not say anything at all. It wasn't worth the fight. I heard him scoff after a few minutes, and just ignored it. I closed my eyes and took in a deep shaky breath, and slowly exhaling. I was desperately trying not to let tears fall, but I felt one drop slip down my cheek anyway.

I wiped it away quickly, clearing my throat and my head.

Crying right now would only make this worse.

He pulled into the driveway of my house and parked the car but kept it running. I finally looked at him, and he was still looking straight ahead.

"I thought you were going to spend the night?"

"I don't think it's a good idea."

"Why?"

"You really want me to come in while we are angry with one another?"

"I think it would be a good idea for you to come in so we can talk this out. Communicate. Like healthy relationships do."

"Now we don't have a healthy relationship?" He sneered finally turning his head to me.

We stared at each other for a hot second before I moved to open the passenger door and slamming it behind me. If he wanted to leave, he could leave. I do not care. I made my way to my front door before I heard his vehicle turn off and his door slam.

I refused to look at him, and I pulled out my keys trying to open my front door as quickly as possible. I got it open surprisingly smoothly and slipped in about to shut my door before a strong hand stopped it from closing.

I didn't dare look up.

Things between Minho and I had been rocky for quite a while. I never understood what changed and that was what was most frustrating. What could have changed that made us so disconnected, so cold towards one another. I just stood there, looking at our shoes while he kept still.

"Noona?" He said in a soft voice.

"What?" I replied, my voice thick.

When I spoke, he could tell I was upset and pushed his way inside of my house wrapping me up in a hug. He kicked the door shut, and I had breached my breaking point. I started to sob, and my body almost went limp.

"I don't understand what is going on." I cried, sniffling and trying to talk clearly. "Why are we always fighting? Over nothing?"

"I don't know." He said, his hand running up and down my back. "All couples go through ups and downs."

I pulled from his hug but kept close to him looking up in his eyes. "We have been down for a long time." I said, his eyes looking back and forth between mine. "We fight so much, I can't stand it."

"I don't like it either, babe." I raked his hand through my hair. He leaned down and kissed me on my lips very lightly. "Can I please stay?"

I cleared my throat and gathered myself, stopping my cries. "Do you actually want to?" I asked, my heart heavy.

"Of course, I do."

I nodded and leaned my head against his chest, my head spinning.

What were we going to do? What is happening to us? I don't want to lose him.

We pulled ourselves together and awkwardly hung out, he constantly giving me guilty looks. Halfway through a movie he fell asleep on the couch. I went to wake him up, but then I heard my phone go off. I slowly moved from under his arm and went to my purse to grab my phone.

Yoongi: Don't forget how beautiful you are. If you want to dance, dance. If you want pasta, eat the pasta. Don't let anyone stop you from being happy.

Me: Thank you, but honestly he was right. I'm glad I didn't eat the pasta. Still though, you are the best. I'm so lucky to have you as a best friend.

Yoongi: I know right? Strikingly handsome and smart. Where could you find a better man?

Me: Nowhere. You are one of a kind. Lol I am going to go to bed now though, I'll talk to you tomorrow.

Yoongi: Goodnight Noona.

Me: Goodnight.

Yoongi and I had been friends for years. We went through a lot of shit in our life and were always there for one another. We are lucky that both Jisoo and Minho were so comfortable with us being best friends. They were never jealous or suspicious of anything going on, which we were both grateful for.

I let out a sigh when I heard Minho stirring on the couch. I walked over and smiled at him, running my hand through his hair.

"Why don't you come to bed?" I asked.

He groaned and stretched. "Actually, would you be terribly upset if I just went home? I really do have an early appointment tomorrow, and its closer to my apartment."

"Oh, okay. Yeah, I get that."

He opened his eyes and smiled at me before leaning forward and kissing me deep and hard. It was quick, and uncalculated and sloppy.

He must be really tired.

"Thank you." He said. "Remember I have guys weekend next weekend." He said as he stood. "I'll be gone until late Sunday."

"When are you leaving?" I asked, walking him to the door.

"I'm not sure. Either Thursday night or Friday morning."

"What will you guys do?" I asked smiling, trying to be upbeat.

"I never know until we get there. I'll text you though." He leaned down and kissed me quick again before waving at me. "Sleep well."

I waved back as he walked backwards towards his car. "You too, goodnight."

I watched as he pulled out of my parking lot, and the heaviness I felt earlier was back and stronger than ever.

I hated this

THE NEXT WEEKEND

"PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE?" Tae whined to me, folding his hands as if he was praying.

"Tae! If I go, I will end up by myself. You always know everyone, and I never know anyone." I laughed.

"Then bring someone."

"Who?"

"I don't know."

"I could ask Yoongi?" I said, knowing full well that parties weren't really his thing. But it had been a while since he and I went out and did something without Jisoo and Minho. "His girlfriend is visiting her mom and sister for the weekend."

"I will finally be able to meet your soulmate?"

"Best friend." I corrected him with a laugh.

"Same thing."

"I'll ask him, but parties aren't really his thing."

"Just call and ask." He said handing me my phone from the charger. "Oh and put it on speaker phone."

I chuckled at his enthusiasm, dialing the one and only Yoongi. It rang twice before his deep voice made Taehyung nearly break a sweat.

"Hey beautiful, good to hear from you."

"Hey there!" I smiled. "I miss you! What are you doing?"

I looked up to Tae who was giving me strange hand signals that I had no hope in deciphering. I shook my head ignoring him, focusing on my words. "Well I was invited out to a home warming party with my friend Tae."

"I don't understand how I have yet to meet him. You guys have been friends for a while now."

"Yeah it is a little weird." I laughed. "But that's kind of why I'm calling. I was wondering if you wanted to go to the party with me?"

"What about Minho?"

"He has guys weekend this weekend?"

"Didn't he just have a guys weekend like...two weeks ago."

"Yeah." Was all I replied. He always had plans. "So, will you come?"

"I would, but since Jisoo is visiting family I invited my friend Jimin to hang out this weekend."

"BRING HIM!" Taehyung shouted suddenly making me jerk.

"Tae!"

"Noona, am I on speaker?"

"Yes." Taehyung responded. "And fuck is your voice sexy. Too bad you're straight."

I rolled my eyes but Yoongi just laughed. "Well let me send him a text and see if he'd want to go, but if he says it's fine, I'll come."

"Yay!" I cheered, making him laugh again. "Thank you Yoongi!"

"Thank you for inviting me. Taehyung I look forward to actually meeting you."

"Like wise." He said. "That or just listen to your voice because fuck..."

He laughed again. "Let me text Jimin and then I will let you know so you can give me details."

"Jimin...isn't that your friend from like...childhood?"

"Yeah. He moved to the area and this was his first weekend he was free since his move. He doesn't know a lot of people yet so I think he will be down for party going."

"Great!" Tae said, taking the phone from me. "Tell him he will meet a sexy beast name Tae if he goes."

"I'll be sure to do that. I'll talk to you guys in a bit."

"Bye Yoongi!" I called before Tae hung up and grinned at me. He handed me back my phone making me laugh. "You are a thirsty bitch."

"Have you heard his voice? I'm surprised I didn't cum on command."

We sat there for a few minutes talking when I heard a ding on my phone. I read the text and smiled, holding it up for Tae to see.

Yoongi: Jimin is in. Where is this party and what do we wear? Jimin told me to ask.
