.: Six's P.o.V. :.

A hospital.

Six was in a hospital, specifically in the ER with all the shouting, hysteria, and panic from casualties and gaurdians alike.

Six head pounded badly and she now noticed it was wrapped with something - and it was a bandage. The headache worsened and she furrowed her brows, groaning a bit in pain as she tried to find a better lying down posistion. She felt someone holding her hand and held it tighter when she woke up.

"Six?! Oh my god! My baby! Are you okay? Are you feeling well? Nurse! Get the Doctor! She's awake! Oh my baby! I was so worried!" Six's adoptive mother said that fast as she cupped Six's cheek and hugged her.

"Mom, my head," Six whined and her mother quickly sat back, "Right, right. Oh I was so worried!" She said while tears slowly streaked down her face.

"Mom... what happened?" Six asked, her mother sniffed a bit and wiped her tears away, "Six, an explosion happened in your school. It affected everywhere at the school. No one knows who really started the explosion - they are still working on it - but there are casualties. I quickly booked a flight, your father stayed back to explain my quick disappearance," she explained and cupped her hand on Six's cheek again, "I wanted to make sure you are okay," she said.

Six smiled and leaned on her mother's touch, "Thanks Mom," she mumbled and her mother kissed her cheek, "Of course Six."

The doctor showed up with a nurse following him and they checked on Six. Six answered questions like how she felt and all that. The doctor nodded and said she was able to move around for a bit before resting again and went to talk with her mother.

Six sat up straight and fixed her raincoat, she patted her pocket and felt something in one of them. Six's eyes widened, she never carried anything in her pockets - aside her phone but that was it. Her phone was on the bed beside her pillow so what is this object in her pocket?

Six opened up the pocket and pulled out a lighter. Her eyes widened, she never carry a lighter around... Except...

Wait a minute.

Memories of before she woke up came back, all the nightmares mashed together and she was feeling like living through it all. Her lighter clattered to the floor with a loud clink and Six covered her mouth, she felt the blood of the North Wind on her mouth. No, it was all a dream right?

No, it felt real. Every escape, every fight, every adrenaline rush she had with her best friends.

Where are her friends?

Six stood up, she looked down on the lighter and picked it up. She pushed it back the pocket of her raincoat and walked on. Everywhere were students mildly or severely injuried as doctors and nurses breeze past, treating all of them simultantiously. Six continued walking on, avoiding the rushing doctors and hoping in one of the beds were her friends and Seven.

Oh god, Seven.

They were a thing in that... not dream, dream. That's just awkward and weird meeting him... But still, he was her... friend? Or boyfriend? Six wasn't entriely sure with the reality now.

Six turned to the side to see the Janitor, Rodger. He was being treated by a nurse, Six stepped closer and she gasped while taking a step back to see his arm was cut off with a long cut on the shoulder. It looked the same as the one in the dream. Hauntingly the same.

No, Six shook her head, it was coincidence. A coincidence.

She ignored Rodger and walked on, she scanned the surrounds and saw in one of the beds was Mono - not wearing his paperbag - with his father. He was okay, slightly wounded but he was okay. Mono was sitting straight on the bed and chatting with his father. Six walked up to him, "Mono!"

Mono turned to her and his eyes widened, he excused himself from his father and walked up to Six, "Six! You're alright!" He said while hugging her.

"Yeah," Six said as they parted, Mono looked around and frowned, "Did... you have it too?"

Six blinked, "Have what?"

"That.... weird nightmare like dream," Mono said in a low tone and Six leaned back shocked, before nodding slowly, "Yeah... It felt so real," Six said and Mono nodded.

"I know. I woke up with a small ladle on one of my pockets, which is so weird to have in your pocket," Mono said, "Like really, a ladle? In your pocket? You wanted to have your own soup ladle so you didn't need to use to one in the buffet?"

Six chuckled on that small joke, "Hah, probably," she said and looked around, "Wanna check on the others?"

"I was about to when my dad started asking questions, but sure," Mono said and Six nodded, together they walked past the hall of the ER.

They walked on until Six heard Mono gasp, she turned to him, "What?"

"Hunter... his eye...." Mono mumbled, Six looked over to see the Hun-- Coach Hunter had a bandage on his eye. Six frowned, "I know... The Jani-- Rodger's arm was cut off too like the one in the dream."

"Man that's creepy," Mono pointed out and Six nodded, "Yeah, like the nightmare did happen and we did that to them."

"Mono! Six!" Someone called behind them and they turned to see Seven catching up to them, Six froze a bit remembering that dream and flushed, Mono looked at her and to Seven, nodded understandingly while wiggling his eyebrows at Six. Six punched his arm.

"Seven!" Six smiled as Seven stood infront of them. He faced Six and blushed, Six blushed too. Mono cleared his throat, "Well, gotta find Twenty-Three. Seeing those redfaces I'm sure something sappy will happen and being a third wheel sucks," he said before turning and leaving them be.

Six blushed a brighter red, oh she was going to kill Mono.

Seven cleared his throat and blushed a brighter red too. Six mentally face plamed, she was right - it was going to be awkward.

"So..." Seven said after an eternity of silence then looked at her bandaged forehead, "How is your... forehead?" He asked and Six smiled, "It's getting better now I am walking around, the doctor said I was lucky I didn't get concussion from the explosion."

"Explosion," Seven said the word like it was a lie, "What really happened?"

Six blinked, "You... know too?"

"Obviously, my head hurts just thinking about it. Did it happen? Or did it not? Are we together or we were just dreaming it? That was weird to have as a dream you know," Seven rambled and blushed, clearing his throat, "Not that being a thing is weird- not that you're weird or anything - it's just that...." Seven looked away while blushing redder, "Is it bad that I really feel like we are together or something?"

Six blinked before thinking, "Do you like me? In a lovey kind of way?"

"Well yeah I did have a crush in you--" Seven stopped himself while his ears started getting bright red too, "Back at second grade..."

Six smiled, "Then let's just stay together," she said and Seven blinked before smiling, "Oh-- uh... Cool. Okay. So... We can.... Just.... Yeah," Seven mumbled and Six giggled, kissing his cheek.

"C'mon, let's check on Twenty-Three," she said and Seven nodded, "Okay," he only managed to mumble out and Six smiled, seeing Seven like this was pretty cute.

They saw Mono and catched up with him, "I already saw Twenty-Three," he said silently, like something surprising happened. Six tilted her head, "What's wrong Mono?"

"Uh... See for yourself," Mono said as he walked on and they followed behind, there was a bed cubicle with the curtains closed and Six pushed it aside to see Twenty-Three, she was now wearing her mint green hoodie. Her eyes were closed and had a wound on her forehead, the bandages soaked with a bit of blood. It stood out, since her bangs were cut off short, like something sharp nearly cut her head in half.

"Twenty-Three?" Six asked and Twenty-Three groaned, groggily opening her eyes. She glanced at Six and smiled, "Hey Six, how are you?" She asked.

"I'm fine, but how are you?" Six asked and Twenty-Three shrugged, "Confused. And also my head hurts from that deep scratch the doc said I got from a 'metal shard'. I feel like a mad woman after rethinking that dream if it happened or not."

"Wait you know too?"

"Yeah, reason of my splitting headache... Well that and the scratch - hurts," Twenty-Three said while trying to sit up straight.

Six sighed while looking down, "Yeah, the others know too about that... dream."

"Probably wasn't," Twenty-Three said as she looked at the side, massaging her temples.

Six's eyes widened while looking back at her, "What?"

"Maybe...." Twenty-Three trailed off as she turned to Six, "Maybe that nightmare was connected to this world. Maybe that everything that happened there will affect here too," Twenty-Three suggeted, "Maybe... Coach Hunter's eye injury was caused by the Hunter who I stabbed the eye. Probably this wound on my forehead came from the North Wind. And," Twenty-Three paused as she pulled up the sleeve of her hoodie.

Six walked on closer and saw a scar on her forearm, which she was sure was never there before, the hoodie's sleeve wasn't torn so it couldn't be from the explosion. And in a much closer look, the scar looked more like a scratch from very long nails rather than peices of debris.

"I wouldn't get this scar," Twenty-Three finished as she pulled it down, "I would not dare to do such stuff or anything," she mumbled frightfully, "Oh god I was freaking out, debating if it was probably debris that scarred it and not... a doll child. Fortunately Mom doesn't know. She'll probably think it of something else so I stayed silent."

Six shivered when the realization hit in, "So... It happened."

Twenty-Three nodded grimly while frowning, "It happened."

"So Ten is..."

"Yes, she was on the bed room next to mine, they said she got internal bleeding before she died. But... she looked more like she drowned," Twenty-Three said and quivered a bit, "Like at the Nest in the nightmare."

Six shivered once again in fear. It happened, all of it happened. There was a lump on her throat and she gulped it down, "Are you able to walk?"

"Nope, the doctor said I should rest. I would love to hang out with you guys but... yeah," Twenty-Three said while frowning, slumping a bit, "Head hurts, mind spinning, and I am questioning existance."

Six smiled, "Can I get a hug though?"

"Sure," Twenty-Three smiled and Six hugged her, "Get well," she said and Twenty-Three nodded, "Yeah, you too," she said, "Both mentally and physically," she joked lightly and Six chuckled.

Six let go and walked to the curtains, Twenty-Three layed back down and waved goodbye. Six waved back at her before heading out.

"Okay what happened?" Seven asked and Six frowned, she was about to explain what happened when there was a bed that was incoming to them.

"Move!" The doctor said and the three did, the doctor, nurses, and a rich woman was following behind the said bed that had the blanket over the patient, yet Six could see the gray hair that stood out from the top. "Olivia! My baby girl!" The rich woman sobbed as she followed them.

Six's mouth hung open as the bed rushed away, "Olivia?... The... Pretender?"

"Ohkay... Were you about to say that... that happened?" Seven asked as he turned to Six, Six nodded, "Yeah. All proof can lead to that and someone made the explosion a cover up - or we are crazy, all four of us."

Seven frowned and gulped, "That's something..."

Six frowned, "It totally is."

==================

It was night now and finally there was less mayhem in the ER, Six lied down on her bed, getting the rest she needed after she walked around and the mystery became more clearer to her now. Her mother was still there and sat beside her, sleeping with her head rested on the bed. Six frowned and looked up at the ceiling.

So... The North Wind was behind it all. He caused the explosion at school and made all the children head to the nightmare world... He used the Lady and the Broadcaster to fully control the nightmare world and made a deal with them that they can rule this world... Until the prophecy came about us.

But wait, the prophecy...

It said this wasn't the end of the test.

Six huffed through her nose and rolled to her side, I am thinking too much. I should head to sleep.

Six closed her eyes and hoped that sleep will come in. Slowly it did and Six went to sleep.

==================

Six was standing in a dark void. She looked around and noticed it was too dark and foggy, she couldn't see where she was, yet she can still see herself from the dark. The floor was cold and metal, and Six shivered to know she was barefoot, so it peirced into her soles.

Pulling out her lighter, Six looked around and started walking with no direction in particular. She kept on walking until she saw a small figure far away. Six squinted her eyes and walked closer to get a better look on the figure.

Six jolted to see it was a child about her height...

Shadow Six.

"Hi Six," she grinned as she walked closer to her. Six stepped back, "What... How are you here?!"

"You think that you wouldn't bring anything from the Nightmare World?" Shadow Six asked, Six frowned, "You didn't even help me. What are you doing here?!"

"Oh Six, I did. I helped you turn into that monster," Shadow Six said. Six furrowed her eyebrows, "What monster?"

Shadow Six shrugged it off like it wasn't important, "Doesn't matter. Since I did help you fight the Broadcaster and made you have a hunger strike so you can kill off the North Wind. You owe me."

"And what do I owe you?"

"A chance to be in your world."

Six stepped back as her eyes widened, her lighter almost slipped out her hand but she forced herself to focus, "What do you mean by that?"

"Oh Six," Shadow Six giggled.

"It wasn't all a dream."
