Mayor Bougerious  POV:

  I  saw Nathaniel came to see me.

   I was glad.

   I hoped this meant he came to admit he loved my daughter, Chole.

  I  frowned when I realized Chole was not with him.

  I  smiled again when I saw the young one.

   "Oh, who is this?"  I asked.

   "This is Sarah, Mayor Bougerious.  Your daughter found her. She was alone and afraid."

       I  listened as the redhead explained the situation to me.

       I was pleased he had brought the child to me.

       I   scowled when Nathaniel told me Chole was alone with that Jeff boy.

      "Nathaniel, you do not let anything happen  to my daughter."

        I watched as he nodded his head in agreement.

       "Look, I will take care of her for a few hours while you figure out something. "

         "Her name is Sarah,"  I heard Nathaniel say.

        "Oh, is that a fact?"

        I was quite pleased to have such a delightful child here in the Bougerious hotel.

             I did not trust Jeff.

           I never have and never will.

         "Nathaniel, belong with Chole. I believe you will make her happy someday."                    

           I saw him attempt to deny that he felt anything for her.

          As her father, I knew that Nathaniel loved her.

            "Now, remember your promise to me. Do not let me down."

            "Chole must not die at the hands of that ^&&%$#####!"

              I  saw Nathaniel's tears as he turned to go.

           Ah, so I was right, his love for her is stronger than even knows it to be.
