Nathaniel's POV:

    I was glad to be able to celebrate Chole's adoption of Sarah.

    I smiled at her. She looked so cute with the ice cream smeared on her lips.

   I finished my ice cream as soon as I could. I leaned over and kissed her.

   I heard Sarah and her Grandpa giving each other a high-five.

  I smirked. I kissed Chole some more.  Chole wrapped her arms around me and kissed me too.

   I  wished she would agree to marry me. I could see us being happy together. Besides, Sarah could use a father. I sighed.

     Chole pulled away and smiled up at me. "Nath," She whispered.

       "Bee, I love you," I say.

      "I love you too," Chole says.

        I was about to kiss her again when I heard a loud boom. I looked outside to see a fireball falling to the ground. I  saw a lady standing there wearing a red and orange two-toned jumpsuit and holding fireballs. I heard her loud cackling.

        I saw Chole's hair comb glow and heard a beep noise. It was then I realized my miraculous was beeping. I excused myself to the bathroom and shut the door.  I sighed as I said, "Orrikko, feather spread!"

     Nearby I heard voices say, "Zeebbe, strips on!" and Pollen "Buzz on!" 

      I smiled.

Soon, I was headed toward the sight of the akuma attack. Where were the others? I saw Carapace headed my way, and Kid Zebra was right behind him. Where was Queen Bee? 

    I saw Chat Noir and Ladybug. I started to fight trying hard not to worry about the absence of Queen Bee.

   Little did I know she was trying to convince the retired mayor, Andre Bougerious to find a safe place to hide.

      I fought hard. I heard someone arrive but kept on fighting.

   I heard someone scream. I turned around and saw Queen Bee in danger. Somehow, the villain had stolen her top and she was defenseless. I saw her close her eyes as if to brace herself for impact.  I was angry. How dare he try to harm her?  I stood in the way to ensure her safety.  I know it was dangerous, but I did not care. I could not let him kill her.

     I  took a fireball to my left arm, and cringed from the pain. I thought I was a goner when I saw Ladybug's lucky charm, it was a water pistol full of water. I smiled as Ladybug sprayed a mist of water in the direction of the villain causing her to go numb and turn into a statue.

       Queen Bee looked at me in shock. She pulled me close and kissed me. I was surprised, but kissed her. I saw the tears in her eyes. "Shh, don't cry, Queen Bee," I whispered.  I pulled away.

    Queen Bee ran to the villain and grabbed the akumantized object. She threw it toward Chat Noir who catcylsmed it.

           Carapace used a forcefield to protect him and Kid Zebra from the next villain. 

           Ladybug caught the freed akuma and purified it.  Then she ran toward the next villain as Chat tried to call out her name. I watched in horror as the villain pulled out a spear and was about to throw it into her chest.  Kid Zebra moved out of the force field and used her grabber to remove the spear from his hand.  She stomped on it, and it broke freeing the akuma.

     Ladybug caught it and purified it. Chat Noir caught her as she collapsed. He left carrying her in his arms.

   Kid Zebra stomped twice and said, "Miraculous Kid Zebra."  The items were fixed and the villains were all back to normal now. 

           Carapace, Kid Zebra, Queen Bee, and I all fist-bumped. Then, Carapace ran off in one direction, Kid Zebra in the other.  

         Queen Bee started to fly off, and I grabbed her from behind.

          "Let me go, Rooster King," She shouted at me.

         "I know it is you, Chole," I whispered. She landed and tears stained her cheeks. "Shh, it is okay, I will not tell anyone, "I say. "H-how did you know?" She asks. "I accidentally saw you detransform about seven months ago," I told her. She shook her head.  "That is impossible, I was always careful, and now..." She sounds sad. 

            I did not care anymore what happened. I had to kiss her. I turned her around so that she faced me. I leaned in and kissed her. I felt her relax as she turned back. Her kwami looked surprised but found some honey and ate it. Then, the kwami hid inside her jacket.

        I continued to kiss her not noticing that I started to turn back. "Rooster King, I c-can't I am with Nath, and I ..." She began. "You what?" I whispered against her lips. "I love him," She says.

        I smiled as my transformation wore off the rest of the way. Chole pulled back and I saw her face go pale. "N-Nath, but that is impossible. Y-you are R-Rooster King, and all this time I thought I had to worry about cheating on you when I thought about the Rooster hero,"  She tells me.

      I saw her start to collapse from shock, but I was there to catch her.

  "Bee, I will take you home," I whisper.

   I carried her to her place. Orrikko was already back inside the inside pocket of my jacket.

    I  took her to the back door and knocked on it.  Sarah smiled and let us inside.

      Andre looked at us and asked, "What happened? Is my heroic daughter alright?" 

       "Wait, you know?" I ask. "Yes, I could tell it was her with how adamant Queen Bee was that I was safe. Besides, I could always recognize daughter," Andre Bougerious says.

           "She is in shock," I say. I took her to her room and laid her on her bed. I came back to speak to her father. I whispered something in his ear and he nodded his head. "Well, that makes sense now," He says.

            "What makes sense now?" Sarah asks. "It is nothing you need to worry about it is adult stuff," I say. "Ok," Sarah responds. She walks off to find something to color or draw.

                I  went back to Chole's room to check on her. I saw her start to come too and she smiled when she saw me. "Nath, oh, Nath," She says. She kisses me. I kiss her.

              I pull away. "Chole, about what we discussed a few months ago," I started to say.

            "I have thought about it," Chole says. "You have?" I feel my face flush. "Yes," She says.

             "Yes, what love?" I ask. "Nath, yes, I have," She says.

            I stood up surprised.  I did not know how to react to her words. Could it be?

             I smiled. I reached into the left side pocket of my jacket and pulled out a box.

              "Chole Lee Ann Bougerious, will you marry me?" I ask as I knelt on one knee.  I looked at her in wonder.  I know her answer could make or break me.

                "Nath?" She holds a hand up to her lips. I can tell she is surprised.

               "Bee?" I ask. Chole smiles and holds out her hand. "Y-yes, Nath, I will marry you," She says.

             I am so excited I feel my hands shake as I place the ring on her finger and kiss her. The ring and kiss seal it. I can't believe it, my Chole said yes. I am engaged to the girl I have loved most of my life.

          I escort her downstairs. I can't wait to tell Sarah and Mr. Bougerious the good news.

         "I have an announcement to make," I say. "Out with it Son," Andre Bougerious says. "Come on Dad, what is it?" Sarah asks. "I asked Chole to marry me, and she said, yes!" I announce. 

          "Yes, Mom and Dad are getting married!" Sarah squeals. "I could not have put it better myself,"  Andre Bougerious says.

          "Congratulations you two," Andre B. says.

            "Yes, congrats, Mom and Dad," Sarah says.
