Chapter 2

     Jeff's POV:

"Chole, what was he doing here?"

"I do not know what you mean."

     "I think you do."

   "Why was he here?"

      "He was just talking."

"Chole, I do not like the way; he looks at you."

I can tell even she could not that Nathaniel likes her.

Too bad, because she is my girl. Mine and no one else's.

      "Who is the child?"

"Oh, you mean, Sarah?  I found her in a tree.  She was scared, and she is an orphan."

I glare at her. I slap her hard across the face.

"Lies, all lies. Just admit it, you love Nathaniel.  You cheat on me with him. The girl is his and yours."

"No, you are a sick man, Jeff. You need help," Chole states.

        I    slap her leg next.

"This ought to teach you not to cheat.  I better not see him near you again."

           I  smirk.

I know she forgave me when she wore the bracelet I brought her.

I  frown when I see the earrings.

I know I never gave her those.

I  kiss her. I can tell she wants me.

I   am glad when she returns the kiss.

"Good, girl. Now, tell me who is in charge?"

"You are," I hear her respond.

        I smile some more.

"Yes, that is right.  Now, let us have our picnic."

I  sit beside Chole on the picnic blanket.  The two of us enjoy a nice romantic time together.

I do not know that she records everything.
