Judge- Court is adjourned.

Then , the judge slams her gavel , dismissing Selene , the defendant attorney , and everyone else from the courtroom. Selene's shift is done.

Selene gathers her files and slings her knapsack over her shoulder and leaves the office , walking down the hallway as a woman , her age , with auburn hair and mint green eyes approaches her.

Girl- Selene ! Hey , Selene. Great job on the case today.

Selene- Thank you , Sherry.

Sherry- I mean seriously , you did good as always.

Selene- ( Smiles ) I sure do , don't I ?

Sherry- Uh huh. Say , what're you doing this week ? Because my cousin's throwing a party at her house and I was wondering if you'd come--

Selene- I'm sorry , Sher. I can't.

Sherry- Booked again ? Girl , you're always booked ! You need to relax and have some little fun once in a while. You know ?

Selene turns around and faces her.

Selene- Sherry , I know. But , one of us has to be responsible and fill our the papers. Right ?

Sherry looks down , looking hesitant.

Sherry- Yes.

Selene- Good. ( Smiles reassuringly ) But , don't worry. If I'm not doing anything this weekend , I'll be sure to come. ( Puts her hand on her shoulder ) Alright.

Sherry looks up and gives her a small smile.

Sherry- Alright.

Selene- ( Pats her ) Good. I'll see you tomorrow. Have a good one !

Selene turns around and walks away.

Sherry- Yeah. You too !

Selene smiles and chuckles as she exits the building and enters her white Subaru , starts it , and drives off from the courthouse.
