I clearly remember her saying she liked iced coffee. Today's the best day to offer coffee since Allie isn't around to tease me. Or she would create a big fuss about me drinking coffee with a girl after all this time. These bring back the past memories, although iced coffee was something I started to hate because of someone, I think I'll put an end to those shitty memories from the past and start making some good new ones. Maybe they'll become the best ones in the future? I am thinking about this too seriously.

The conversation Vinaya and I were having that day was interrupted. I really want to know if she has a boyfriend. She probably has not one? Right? I am going to ask her this over coffee today.

"What are you thinking hm? Are you not feeling like drinking coffee"?

"Ah no it's not that Mr Ryan. You didn't really have to do this. But it's really considerate of you for doing this. This coffee looks really delicious, I'll have it".

"That's great"! I say taking a seat in front of her in my cafe".

"Is allysa's trip over yet"?

"Yes. Her trip's getting over today. She'll be back tomorrow".

" That's good hmm".

"Ms Vinaya, do you remember the conversation we were having the other day"? I asked you if you have a boyfriend and suddenly allie stepped in back after her fake phone call haha".

"Oh. Yes. No I am not looking for a relationship right now".

" I see. May I ask why? Is it because of your studies"?

"Yeah. That's a reason too".

" What's the other reason"?

"My parents. They will definitely find out about it even before i officially get in one".

"Haha. Are your parents that strict"?

" They're more than you could imagine. They even keep an eye on my brother who's abroad".

"Huh abroad? How do they even keep an eye on him. That's sounds really tiring that you aren't independent in such decisions".

"No. It's fine. They're just doing it for my own sake after all".

"Yes. They care alot about you. But Ms Vinaya what if you actually start to like someone? I mean what would you do then"?

"Well, it's just the matter of the time. It depends. I wont completely deny tho".

I knew it.

" The coffee is really good. Thankyou Mr Ryan. But.. Why did you um"?

"I wanted you to try it so you could keep buying coffee from my cafe haha".

" Oh. Haha fine. It worked".

She's so goddamn fine.

Shoot. While talking with Mr Ryan, I forgot to text Aarav. Wrong timing hah.
9:30 P.M ? Too late to ask him now. Maybe I can ask dad about his point of view! Aarav would want to know about it too after all.

"Dad? How was work today? Did Aarav do fine"?

"Vinaya, he wasn't just fine! I never knew you would find me such an enthusiastic employ. He worked so well. He has a great grasping power".

I am relieved. This is fine. But why am I so happy at dad's words? Like he's someone close to me and impressed my parents. I feel like that. I only smile at that.

"What are his timings from tomorrow"?

"1:00 PM to 4:00 P.M. His school gets over at before 1. He said he'll make it by 1 pm.

That must be so tough. Going to work straight after school. I can't even imagine hanging out after school. Once I get back home after school I rush to my bed and nap for straight 2 hours. Nothing can beat the sleep after school.

"I asked him it must be tough, so he just replied that it's nothing compared to the hard work his parents do. Besides it's his last year at school".

" Look. That child is very obedient. You should learn from him Vinaya". Says mom.

"Oh god mom fine fine. I am going to sleep now. Good night dad, mom".

"Look. Instead of saying yes she's ignoring me"!

I go upstairs before mom could scold me more. Sigh. Now they're comparing me with Aarav?... What is this all about.

(At the library)

Aarav must be here soon.

"Hellloo! What are thinkingg Vinayaa"??

"Oh! Allysa. You scared me. Come sit".

"What are you reading hm".

"Maybe Someday. Oh yes How was your trip"?

" Hehe good. Don't tell Ryan.. I went there because of Alex".

"Alex"?

"Tch. My boyfriend"!

"Ohh".

" Hey is that dude not coming anymore"?

"What dude"?

Although I know very well who she's talking about I ask her anyway.

"Oh cmon.. I don't remember his name. Like you don't know who I am talking about".

"Aarav? He's working part time to support his family. But he said he would still come.. And he didn't today".

"Are you missing him hehe"..

" I'm not! Why are you so annoying"..

"Okay okay Vinaya calm down. Oh and I want to talk about something with you".

"Go ahead".

She takes my hand and place them in hers.

"Vinaya you know what it's Ryan's birthday soon".

"Oh. So"?

"So i planned a surprise party for him"!

"Surprise party! That sounds amazing"!

"Hmm. And now that I'm back I am quickly giving away the invitations"..

"Where are you organizing it"?

"At our place. There will be around a hundred people or so".

"Y-your home?? Is it that huge"?

(Laughs) " Yeah Vinaya i think you don't know cz you've never been there.. Soo vinaya you're coming at this party right"??

"Huh me? Why would I allysa it's your brother's birthday and everyone will be his relatives and friends"..

" Exactly Vinaya! That's why I want you to come yk I don't have any friend of mine there so please please Vinaya come there".

"Ah.. Allysa I'll see later as my schedule.. I can't promise anything".

" I'll take that as a yes"!!
