Madison's POV:

I wake up and look around the room confused as to where I am and then I remember last night as I see my girlfriend lay beside me sleeping peacefully, I kiss her cheek softly, then slide out of bed careful not to wake her. I grab her shirt from the floor and pull it over me, it's bigger on me because she is taller. I look at myself in the mirror and smile as I could smell my girlfriends perfume on the shirt, I run my fingers through my hair before making my way downstairs and in the kitchen to grab a glass of water when I see a woman stood there, I realise it's her mom and I gulp slightly scratching the back of my neck. This is not how I want to meet her mom, I go to walk back out of the kitchen and I see Y/n walking downstairs in an oversized hoodie, I sigh of relief as she looks at me and smiles "morning babe" she says taking hold of my waist gently placing a kiss on my forehead "oh hey mom, when did you get back?" her mom turns around and I wasn't expecting her to be so young her and Y/n looked so alike you could mistake them for sisters "about 2 this morning" Y/n nods in understanding.

Her mom looks to me as I stand there awkwardly playing with my fingers "oh good morning honey" I smile softly "morning" I reply, Y/n goes to introduce me, but her mother interrupts "you must be Madison?" I look to my girlfriend and back to the woman in front of me "yeah, how did you know?" she glances at her daughter and rolls her eyes "Y/n wouldn't stop talking about you when you released that music video and I just remembered, couldn't forget such a pretty face" I blush heavily at the compliment "thank you, it's nice to meet you Mrs Y/l/n" I hold out my hand politely, she shakes her head and pulls me into a warm hug making me relax "it's amazing to meet you to Mads, can I call you that?" I nod happily "Madison is actually my-" Y/n tries to add but it seems her mom can read her like a book "girlfriend? Yeah, I can tell darling" my girlfriend blushes "your daughter is amazing Mrs Y/l/n" she laughs "you don't need to lie honey, I know she's a piece of work. Please call me Y/m/n" I smile and nod "yeah, she really is, but she's smitten with me" I say with a teasing smirk thrown Y/n's way "I can tell already" she says with a laugh "anyway!" Y/n interrupts "Are you hungry babe?" she continues in order to change the subject, I nod in response "yeah I am" she smiles and grabs a few ingredients to start cooking, I lean against the counter beside her just watching as she worked. After about 10 minutes she hands me my favourite breakfast and I stand there shocked "1 how did I not know you can cook and two how did you know this is my favourite?" she just smirks "just enjoy baby girl" I smile biting my lip "thank you!" I kiss her cheek and then begin to eat at the table.

Y/n's POV:

I catch my mom staring at Madison's butterfly stiches on her cheek before she looks up at me furrowing her brow as if to ask what happened, I shake my head mouthing "long story" she nods understanding and then stands up walking towards me sat on the counter just watching Madison studying the way she moves with a small smile "I've got to get to work but have a good day you two." Madison smiles getting up to hug my mom "thank you, you to Y/m/n" she returns the hug then her gaze falls on me "and you. Behave" I roll my eyes "yes ma'am" she smiles and walks out the front door, Madison comes up to me with her empty plate, I take it and place it in the sink "your mom is amazing" I giggle at her simple sentence "and I didn't know you two would be so similar." She says almost shocked "that's because we are so close in age princess, she had me at 17" I explain pulling her into me, feeling my phone go off in my pocket I pull it out and see Anna's contact "there is a party tonight, we can go if you want baby" I look up at Madison and she nods "hell yeah" I smile and respond to Anna that we will be there then I look back to my girlfriend gently running my thumb over her cheek and she moves her hand to mine "I'll be fine baby, don't worry. You'll be there with me all night" I nod sighing softly as she kisses me gently "I just don't want to see you hurt again" I mumble against her lips "you won't have to" I gently pull away from the kiss and look into her eyes "Madi?" she hums a "mhm?" I take a breath and pull her waist even closer into mine "I love you" she smiles "I've been waiting to say that since we got together, I love you to" I let out a big sigh of relief and grin kissing her again "so what do you want to do today?" she thinks for a second "can we go shopping for tonight?" I nod running my hands up her sides before resting them on her hips "of course babe."

I led her upstairs again and give her some of my clothes to wear so she doesn't have to wear yesterdays, I turn around so she can get changed in privacy and when she tells me she's done I turn back around and smile widely "you look adorable in my clothes babe" she blushes and puts her arms around my neck gently swaying with me for a moment "you can use one of the spare toothbrushes we keep in the draw to brush your teeth baby" she nods and walks to the bathroom, I follow her and take a new toothbrush out of the packet handing it to her then I leave the room and go back to mine to get ready for the day.
