Cool, Queens, New York... The city of love... Well, that's actually Paris, but still. You can find love in the big city. What I look for in a guy is that he has to have a sense of humor, I mean I'm a comedian, so it'd be weird if he had no personality. I would prefer if he has brown hair and brownish eyes. Have a small group of friends, since I have like 4 different friend groups. It'll be refreshing to get to know a smaller group of people. He shouldn't care what other people think. I mean I don't. I would hate for someone to get wrapped up in what someone else said.

 I've been single for almost a year now. Really just want to put myself out there and find someone. So, I downloaded a dating app. Now really my life is just swiping left or right. Usually the "right" guy is a jerk, who only wants sex. I want to go on dates, like dinner and a movie. To the bar to make a fool of myself and him laughing at me. I want someone to randomly bring me flowers and chocolates. Is that honestly too much too ask for? 

My friends, Amy Sales and Willow Mays invited me out to the bar tonight. I'm hoping to find someone I can have a good time with. And yeah I shouldn't rush into anything, I want something easy and fun! 

I have such a dark past. This might be getting personal, but I have an addictive personality. I was getting high in college with pills and occasionally cocaine... There was 1 instant where I tried angel dust, but we don't have to talk about that. And recently, I would say I'm a year clean, I was taking Benadryl, online it says that it's not addictive, but again... Look at me. So, what I'm trying to say is that I want someone to replace that feeling of being high. I want to get high off love. Or mutual attraction. 

I'm in a happy place right now, although I still get urges, so I write and do stand up comedy. Those are my jobs. I'm a published author, 6 books, 2 children's and 4 YA. But I also do freelance writing to bring in some extra cash. Stand up comedy use to be a hobby, but now in stead of free drinks, I actually get money. It's so nice. Even though I can still barely afford my apartment. I mean, it is Queens, New York... The city of love.
