Mihir's engagement...
Shah Mansion.

The mansion was decorated beautifully with lights and flowers, making it look more beautiful than any five-star hotel. Megha Shah got everything decorated as per her status and taste, Rich, elegant, sophisticated, and classy.

Mehul Shah looked very happy but he seemed to be planning something and making some arrangements secretly.

He wanted to talk to his beautiful wife but she was busy doing all the arrangements for their son Mihir's engagement and didn't have any time as she was a perfectionist and wanted everything to be perfect for the occasion. She had arranged gifts for the guests with the help of their nephew, Manik. They seemed to be extremely busy.

Their son Mihir was on top of the world as he was getting engaged to the girl he had been in love with since childhood. His friends, Roohi and Vihaan were teasing him and he was blushing a bit.

Mehul was very happy and excited to talk to his family and wanted to tell them something but they all were busy. His daughter, Mahi, was helping her mom or spending time with her friend, Aarav from the USA.

Mehul thought of calling his best friend, Rahul Kapoor to tell him to come a bit early but his phone was not reachable. So he also went out to see the arrangements. His elder brother' wife, Sneha was not feeling very well so they could not come for the engagement but they were going to attend the function through video call.

In about an hour, it was time for the engagement and all the guests started pouring in. Finally, all his relatives, friends, and their families were there.

Mehul and Megha came forward with the Jindal Family and started the ceremony. Mihir and Gauravi looked very good and happy while their friends were teasing them. Mahi and Manik were also standing there and were very happy for their brother Mihir.

Mahi brought two beautiful rings on a beautifully decorated platter and offered the rings to them. Mihir picked up one of the rings and slid it on his beloved's ring finger and she did the same and with that, they both got engaged. Everything congratulated them and they all enjoyed, the whole atmosphere was very positive and festive.

Mehul was very happy to see his son's face glowing with love and happiness and looked relieved.

Mehul has been feeling bad ever since his nephew got married and his brother and him has to make a tough decision and send his bride to the USA. He wanted to do everything right for Mihir and Mahi.

He saw her smiling and Aarav was also looking very happy. He looked around once as if he was looking for someone but then he took a deep breath and called for everyone's attention.

" May I have your attention, please?? " Mehul said. Everyone turned to look at him.

" I am very happy and thankful to all of you for coming here to grace the occasion and bless our children. I am really happy that the friendship between Gautam and me has turned into a stronger relationship now. We will decide on the wedding date and will invite you to their wedding very soon. But today, I also want to announce in front of all of you. I have found a very eligible bachelor for my daughter Mahi and I want to introduce him to all of you as my would-be son-in-law. May I present.... "

" Wait!! Stop it!! " his wife Megha said and pulled the mic from his hand and said, " Why should you have the pleasure of presenting our son-in-law alone?? You introduced Gauravi as our beautiful daughter-in-law to all our friends and relatives as now it is my chance to present the handsome hunk as our son-in-law. " she said and everyone laughed and nodded.

" Okay, love!! As you wish. I can't say no to you. Your wish has always been my command. " Mehul said.

" Thanks, Mr Shah!! " Megha replied.

" Ouch!!! Don't call me that... We have been too intimate for years now for you to call me like that now. " He winked and said flirting with her. But she ignored him with a shrug. Everything present there laughed at that.

" So I want to tell you all that our relationship has strengthened with another couple in the same way we did with Jindals' and want to introduce our Son-in-law to you... a very good-looking, sweet, eligible, smart, handsome, sensitive, dedicated, and caring man... Who has managed to steal my daughter's heart... So ladies and gentlemen, here I want you to meet, Ranveer Kapoor A.k.a Ron. " she said and everyone started clapping. Most of them were surprised and looked at both of them. Mahi was smiling shyly and Ron was grinning from ear to ear.

" Ron, can you come here with Mahi, please? " Megha said. Ron extended his hand to Mahi and she placed her hand on his a bit shyly and together they went to Megha.

Mehul looked puzzled and looked at his daughter and wife but both were smiling standing beside Ron.

All of a sudden, Roohi came up with another beautiful platter bearing two rings. Ron picked up a ring and went on his knees to ask Mahi but before he could even ask her, she nodded and gave her hand to him. He smiled and slid the ring in her finger and kissed it. She also made him wear the ring and he got very emotional, wrapped his arms around Mahi's waist, and placed a kiss on her forehead.

Everyone applauded and his friends and Raj whistled.

" So Rahul Bhai and Priya, if you are okay with it, can I announce their wedding?? " Megha asked Kapoors. Mehul was literally shocked that Megha asked Kapoors without even consulting him first.

He looked at Kapoors and they looked absolutely pleased at her question.

" Yes, Of course!! We have no problem at all. I knew he was in love with someone... But I didn't know Ron was in love with Mahi, or we would have asked you the same question myself. " Priya rushed to Megha and hugged her.

" Since all our friends and relatives are here, I want to tell all of you that Ron and Mahi got married today, early in the morning in a court and are already tied in the pious knot of matrimony now. " Megha announced.

Mehul looked absolutely shocked. He kept looking at them as if he was watching a movie or a dream.

" We have always loved Mahi as our daughter, I am so happy to know that now she will always be our daughter and stay with us, I am so happy, don't even know how to react... I welcome you to our family, Beta. " Rahul said and hugged Mahi.

" Thank you, uncle. " She said shyly.

" Uncle?? Who are you calling as uncle? No! I will not allow you to call me uncle, call me Dad. I always wanted to have a daughter, especially from the day you were born, and see how you will always be staying our daughter. " Rahul said. Gautam and all their friends congratulated Rahul and Mehul on the wedding of their children.

Mehul could just manage to nod. He asked Rahul to come to his study with him but he said that there were so many guests there, so it would not look good if they went away leaving them. He just nodded and looked at his daughter and her husband. They both were literally glowing with happiness.
