Ron's POV

"  I hope that our connection is strong enough to weather that revelation. Tell me, please. " I said.

" Mahi!!! Please love... " he was saying and the phone buzzed again. 

" It's dad again!! I need to go, or he will come here. " she said and turned to go, but I could not let her go like this.

What is the problem with my sasurji??

" I will take you there and bring you back. I don't want to stay away from you. " I said.

" But how will I explain you coming with me? I mean, if dad knows about us... " she asked.

" You don't have to explain anything. I will do that. As it is, I need to tell everyone about my feelings for you. So it doesn't matter what your dad thinks."  I held her hand and took her to my car and drove her to her place.

Her parents were in the living room waiting for her. I don't know what was his surprise but he was definitely surprised to see me and obviously was not too pleased while Megha aunty gave me a brilliant smile. I smiled back at her with greetings.

" Yes, dad what is the surprise? "  Mahi asked with annoyance.

" Close your eyes!! " Uncle said.

" Dad!! I am not ten years old now. Please come out with it. " she said and just then a popular Bollywood song started flowing in the air.

Tere dar per sanam chale aaye... Tu na aaya to hum chale aaye.

What? The song is beautiful but who dares to call her Sanam ( love) ??

" Hey, beautiful!! " someone said in the American accent. We turned to look at him and saw a tall fair handsome man standing there with an enormous bouquet of exotic flowers in his hand. He was smiling at Mahi.

Mahi's face also lit up seeing him.

Now who the hell was he??

He came forward and gave the flowers to Mahi. She accepted them with a smile.

Smile!! Why does she need to smile at him?

The very next moment he pulled her in his arms and placed a kiss on her head.

What the hell??

I looked at Mehul uncle but he had no problem with the way this man.... How can he just smile when he pulled her like that and...

Leave her if you don't want it to be your last day.

Who the hell is that man?

" What a wonderful surprise! I am so happy to see you. "

" Awww... I missed you so much, my doll.  " he said with American slang.

My doll??

That's it! 

I was going to punch him but Aunty said something to me, I had not heard the most of the sentence.

" ....., Ron? "

" Hunh?? Ji? I am sorry, did you ask anything from me?" I said.

" I asked, that you didn't go to the office today? " Megha aunty repeated.

" Actually I had gone but had to come back for something. " I said but my whole concentration was on the other conversation.

"  Even I missed you a lot. Why didn't you tell me you were coming?" She asked him.

" I wanted to see this happy expression on your face. " he replied.

" Awww... Well, whatever you do, you always manage to bring smile on my face. I am glad you came. " Mahi said smiling like laughing Buddha.

Enough, Mahi!! Let's go back if you don't want your precious friend to die.

" Now that you have seen your surprise, shall we get back to work."  I said because she seemed to have forgotten about everything else.

" Oh, I am sorry, Ron, I almost forgot that you were here. Meet my friend Aarav from the USA. His dad is Mudit uncle's best friend. And we became very good friends while I was there. And Aarav, he is Ron, I mean Ranveer Kapoor, his dad is my dad's best friend. " she made the introduction.

He is her uncle's best friend's son??

The same guy Mehul uncle and his brother wants to get married to Mahi???

" Hey, Ron!!  Nice to meet you." He extended his hand for a handshake but I gnored it. I could not shake hands with him when I wanted to break his other arm that was still wrapped around my Mahi.

But I could not do what I wanted as she would get offended and her parents were also standing here.

" Mahi, I think, you should get back to your work, you know how desperate Myra is to get her room done. They need space, can't keep her stuff in her bags. " I said, I knew it was rude of me but I could not see her with him.

" I know, I will send my team... " she said.

" Just the team?? "  Has she gone mad?

" Yeah!! They can complete it. "  She assured me.

" No!! How will that solve the purpose? " I said absent mindedly.

" Purpose? What do you mean? " aunty asked.

" Er... Aunty, I mean, if she is there, the team will work more efficiently. "  I explained.

" Oh, that way... I thought you were saying something else. "  She smiled.

" Rest assured, my team will complete the work. Easily." Mahi said and I was going mad.

Why doesn't she understand anything??

I wanted to spend some time with her after we talked...and things had not sorted out fully as yet and here the  most eligible bachelor according to her dad is here to woo her.

What do I do now?

" Mahi, can you please take a leave for a few days, I have come to spend time with you, will you show me your country. The places where you grew up and studied? "  He said looking into her eyes.

Thaier ja !! Tujhe to main ghoomata hoon, ek padega to seedha USA ja ke padega. (Wait! I will give you a nice trip!! Idiot, leave her alone or I will beat you.)

Get lost!! Stay away from her.

"  Fair enough !! Now that Aarav is here, I want to spend some time with him. He gave me a guided tour to USA, now It's my turn to do that. So I will take a leave for a week, while he is here, in the meanwhile  my team will keep working. "  Mahi replied as if she doesn't know that I don't care for the work at all I just wanted her with me.

I was thinking of some way to find some time alone with Mahi so that I could talk to her about us and about this Daanav as well.

" That's like my girl!! " Daanav sad and hugged her. She giggled.

My girl??? What the hell!!

And she giggled???

What was wrong with her?

How dare he touch her like that and call her as his girl. She was mine.

My girl! Was sent in this world for me. Only for me. 

Just then the servant came with a glasses of fresh juice, I shook my head but aunty insisted me on having it. So I picked up one of them but I could not think of drinking anything.

" Mahi, can I talk to you for a minute? "  I said as otherwise I would have beaten the guy in front of everyone.

"  Ron, please try and understand, he has come all the way from USA just to meet me, I need to spend some time with him. "  she said.

" Yes, please... Can you please excuse her for a few days, while I am here...I want her to be with me. "  he said smiling at Mahi and she smiled back at him.

I felt like killing that man as she has not smiled at me like that in years and I wanted to burn the world at the moment.

" Come, I will show you, what I got for you. " he said, she nodded and went away with him.

She went away with him?? Leaving me??  Just like that?

Suddenly a sound of a cracking some glass came from somewhere and just then aunty rushed to me.

" Oh, God!! What happened?? Are you alright, beta? " aunty said. I looked at her with confusion and then at my hand as she was holding it. Blood was coming out of it. I realised that I broke the glass I was holding.

" Er... Sorry about the glass... " I said. 

" Forget the glass! See your hand is bleeding!! Come with me. "

" I am fine aunty!! It is nothing! Don't worry about me. "

" It is nothing?? What are you saying? Let me clean and dress the wounds. " aunty said.

" It's ok! It happen sometimes... you don't worry, I will do it. Make arrangements for Aarav to stay here, please give him a royal treatment that he deserves. I will take care of Ron, come with me, Ron! "  Mehul uncle said.

Yes, even I needed to talk to him. It was high time we talk about a few things clearly. Man to man...
