" What are you hiding?? " I asked. But he was still not looking at me.

" Ron??" I said and placed my hand on his cheek and made him look at me. His eyes looked full of emotions and tears.

" Tell me what happened that day... You had come to accept your feelings to me but... Something big must have happened, what was it?? "  I asked with tenderness.

" I don't want to tell you because you will not trust me and I don't want to hurt your feelings by telling you all that. "  He said.

" Where did you go when I sent you to my room to get that box?? Did my dad or someone stop you?? "  I asked reframing my question.

" Who told you that?? Ruhan?? I specifically told him not to tell you. " He got angry.

" But why?? Why don't you want me to know the reality? He told me as I insisted. He is your brother and my friend, he just wanted to make everything right between us. Okay, so I know that my dad called you and showed you the picture of us kissing at the pool party, so what happened after that?? "  I asked.

" Mahi!! Why do you want me to say anything if you already know," he asked.

" Tell me!! I have a right to know. "

" Don't you trust me?? "  He asked me.

" Don't dare to change the topic. What happened that day?? "

" What do you expect from a dad who had seen a picture of his princess kissing a guy?? " he said.

" He scolded you?? "  I asked.

" Scolded?? He punched me hard. "  He replied.

" And you got scared?? "  I asked him because I wanted to get the truth out of him.

" And ?? "  I asked.

" And what? That's it! "  He said. God!! He is still hiding something.

" How will you explain kissing that girl at our party?? " I asked.

" I am sorry, but I can't explain it, slap me as many as you want. But please forgive me for what happened that day. I can just assure you, that I hated to do that to you. I was madly in love with you. "  He said and I was going to ask him again but my phone started buzzing.

I ignored it as we were discussing something very important but the caller seemed to have something more important that could not wait. So I inhaled and exhaled with frustration, I looked at my phone screen. It was Dad. He was calling me continuously, so I needed to pick up the call.

" Hello, dad!! "

" Hey princess, where are you? "

" I am working at Kapoor Mansion, working on Raj and Myra's room. Why?" I asked.

" Okay, now wind up everything and come home immediately!! " he said.

" What? Why? "

" I have a surprise for you. "

" Awww. So sweet Dad, but I will come and see the surprise in the evening. "

" No! Come back right now!! I can't wait to see your reaction to the surprise. Come home, or I will come there with your surprise. "

" Oh please, dad!! Don't behave like a child. I am busy. "

" Fine!! I am sending your surprise there," he said.

" Well, I can wait but your surprise is losing patience and wants to be in front of you, right away," he said, I could literally sense his happiness.

" Dad, you are too much. Fine, I will come."  I said and disconnected the call.

" What happened?"  He asked immediately.

" Dad is being very adamant and insisting that I go back home immediately. "  I told him. But he got tensed.

" No!! We have to talk about this whole thing... I told you everything I could, please trust me that I love you. " he said. But I did not know what to say to him.

" C'mon, sweetheart say something. "

" What do I say?? "  I said, I knew he would not tell me. He is very stubborn.

" That you love me too," he said looking at me with so much love that I literally wanted to die out of happiness. But I wanted to know so I tried to ask him one more time.

" Tell me what happened there at that party at our place. Or I will not accept your feelings for me. You can't hide things from me. "  I said and he smiled with tears in his eyes.

" Oh, I love you, my love. My princess. "

"  My princess?? Seriously!! Stop using that phrase, Bhai or Dad calls me that. "

" Okay, my queen. But please don't keep repeating the question, I don't want to talk about it. I am telling you that I love you and you are bothered about just that one thing, don't you believe me?? I will not tell you even if you ask me a hundred times. I will wait for you to trust that I love you.  " he looked frustrated and sad.

" Fine!! I am going home! "  I said trying once again.

" Why?? You have to work here you have not even started. "  He said immediately coming to stand between me and the door.

" Dad has got something for me, he wants me to come back immediately and if I don't go immediately he will come here with the surprise. I will be back as I have to complete this room as soon the possible. "

" Let me take you there and bring you back here, I just don't want to stay away or my heart may stop working. "  He said with so many emotions in his eyes that I could not control myself.

" Please don't say such things,"  I said.

My eyes shimmered with tears of joy and longing. "Ron, I never stopped loving you, not for a moment. You mean everything to me." I said. He gently wiped away a tear that had escaped down my cheek

" Really??  Then please say it once again. I am literally dying to hear you say it. I thought that I would never hear it from you in this lifetime. His tears started flowing.

" I don't know what happened that night, but I wish I could turn the time, I love you and wanted to die when I saw you kissing that girl. " 

" I am sorry, I could not forgive myself for that but trust me I felt like dying too. It was the most disgusting thing to do, but I had to do it. Please don't ask me the reason but we have suffered a lot because of it. Please let's not suffer anymore. "  his tears were flowing out of the frustration he must have had at that time.

Maybe my dad said something that made him behave like that. But my love for Ron increased and he didn't tell me what happened between him and dad because he knows that I love my dad.

" Ron, I doubt that your reason for doing all that was somewhat related to what happened between you and my dad. " I said and he looked shocked and he looked away immediately.

" Whatever it was, can't you please leave it? All that is important is that his words and the distance couldn't erase what I feel for you. Mahi, my love for you is real, it's deep, and it's forever. I love you. Please say that you love me back. "

We were standing there and  Ron finally confessed his love to me, a confession that had been aching to be spoken for so long.

" I love you, Ron, I have always loved you, even when I tried not to love you and forget about you, I could not help thinking about you. Then I came back here and saw you flirting with Roshni... "  I was saying and his expression changed from anticipation to a happy relaxed one to tense.

" Hey, wait!!! Rosh is like my sister, I saw that Manik was getting drawn to her, and I could see that he was overprotective and possessive about her, he is my friend and I wanted to help him and the best way was to make him aware about his real feelings. So I flirted with her. She is like my sister, you can ask her. I swear, I love only you. " he said so cutely. I wanted to hug him but that has to wait as I wanted to know his reason for doing that to hurt me.

I love him so much.

" Yes, I know that now, But I can't forget what you did that night and you are not even giving me the reason behind it. So you need to give me time."

" Okay, I only want you to know that I am willing to risk everything to be honest with you, except that I will not tell you what happened that day. "

"  I hope that our connection is strong enough to weather that revelation. Tell me, please. "

" Mahi!!! Please love.. " he was saying and the phone buzzed again.
