Ron's POV

The soft music in my car worked as a lullaby for Mahi and she slipped into the dream world.

Though I wanted to tease her more or talk seriously about our relationship, I didn't have the heart to wake her up, she looked absolutely gorgeous sleeping next to me. I just kept looking at her.

I swear, I could get used to it and wanted her to sleep next to me for the rest of our lives.

We reached their home and I was in a dilemma whether to wake her up or pick her up and take her inside as she was sleeping. I wanted to choose the second option but if uncle saw me, he would create drama and make things more difficult for me.

But I was already getting rebellious as far as he was concerned. So I was not bothered by what he thought, but my concern was for Manik, I didn't want him to get annoyed as he was already upset.

So I called her name softly but she was sleeping soundly. Then I released the catch of the seatbelt and was lost in her fragrance, just wanted to kiss her once again, but it was not right. I could not kiss her while she was sleeping.

But the Prince kissed the snow white while she was sleeping and she woke up...

Shut up, Ron!! Don't find stupid excuses to kiss her. My inner voice scolded me. I made a face and shook her holding her shoulder.

But still, she didn't stir...

I was tempted again to pick her up in my arms and take her inside. But Manik?? Or Mihir??

Ok, I will call Manik out... I called his number but it was busy, maybe he was talking to Rosh. I must not disturb them.

So this time I picked her up in my arms and shut the door with a push of my leg. I looked at her and smiled as she immediately placed her head against my shoulder and her steady warm breath caressed my neck. Oh, I wanted the distance from my car to the entrance of their living room to be very long so that I could enjoy carrying her for a longer time. But it was not possible... I was trying to press the doorbell with my shoulder and finally managed to do it and just then she woke up.

" What are you doing, carrying me like this?" She asked.

" You had slipped into slumber and didn't get up even when we reached here and I tried to wake you. So I had to... " I explained with a smile.

"  Put me down on the ground, immediately,"  she said and I did so reluctantly. Just then the door opened and she walked in, I followed her.

Aunty was coming from inside and as soon as she saw us, she smiled and asked us if we selected the furniture. We told them that we selected the furniture for the office and shortlisted some pieces for the home as they had to be selected by everyone as per their individual choices.

"Okay, you both must have been tired, come inside and have a seat,"  she said.

" Aunty, is Manik at home?? " I asked.

" Oh, yes, he is in his room please go and talk to him, he is very upset these days,"  she replied with a smile.

" I will go and see him."

" Yes, you do that and I will serve the dinner in the meantime. Have dinner with us," she said.

Yes, I also want that Aunty.

"Thanks for inviting me Aunty, but, Mom must be waiting at home. I just wanted to spend some time with him." I said instead.

" No, you got to have dinner with us, tell Priya that you are having dinner with us, I am sure, she won't mind," she said and I smiled as it meant that she invited me for dinner, I  was not imposing and I could spend some more time with Manik and look at Mahi while having dinner.

" Okay, if you insist... "

" I do!! You are staying for dinner. Go and talk to Manik. I know you can bring a smile to his face. It hurts to see him like that. " Aunty said.

" Sure, Aunty. " I said and went to his room.

Manik was lost in his work and looked very upset.

" Hey, Manik!! How are you, man?? "  I said.

" Hi, Ron!! What are you doing here? "  he was surprised to see me.

" Why? Am I banned in your home? "  I asked.

"  You know what I mean... "  he said with a sad expression.

" No, I don't!! I would have come earlier if I had known the real situation. I didn't want to disturb you earlier thinking that you must be busy with Rosh. But then a few days back I came to know that your parents have taken her to the USA with them. " I said, feeling sorry for him.

" How could they do that?? "  he asked me

" I don't know, I also argued about it when I came to know about it but Megha Aunty said, they had some reason behind it,  they must be having some reason as I know Megha Aunty would not have supported that decision at any cost. "

" But it is so difficult to stay away from her, I don't feel like talking to the elder ones in my family at the moment and can't talk to Mihir and Mahi, they are as upset as me about this decision. "

" Hmmm, I know. And we left you alone to fight your problems on your own. You knew that I was very happy about you being married to Rosh, you could have talked to me. "  I said and he took a deep breath but didn't say anything.

"I guess, I deserve it. Viren and Sujal are surely upset with me and now even Raj must be angry with me. "

" Raj is only annoyed with you because you were in a relationship and didn't tell him anything about that, he is not angry with you that you did not get married to Myra, because he was madly in love with her for years and wanted to get married to her. He is annoyed with her because she was meeting him simultaneously when she was dating you. She could have told us or her family that she was dating you or she would have ended her relationship with you and told you that her family wanted her to get married to Raj and she had started liking him as well. "

" I don't want to comment on it, I did not tell anyone as she didn't want me to... but anyways, I don't know how to correct everything so that I can get all my friends back. Shlok and Shaurya are normal with me. But even they have not talked to me since that day. " he said.

" But I guess that they also don't know that Rosh has gone to the USA. Or I am sure, they would have called you. Don't worry, 3 out of 6 are not annoyed with you, in fact, they are in your favor. Raj is just jealous of you as he is possessive about Myra. So he will be fine soon. We will get the rest of them back together. Just chill!! "

" Thanks!! You are a true friend. Just like a brother... "  he said.

Er...yeah... Brother-in-law. I corrected silently.

" Yes, thanks, I hope you will also support me when I need you. "  I said.

" Of course! That goes without saying."  He said.

" Don't say without thinking..."  I was not sure, he could be so confident after knowing everything.

" Doesn't matter, if you are right in your place, I will help you. "

" I am absolutely right in my place, but you don't even know, for what, I am seeking your support... " I was saying and just then there was a knock on the door.

" Yes, come in. "

" Manik, Ron beta come for the dinner. "  Megha Aunty was there.

"Oh, you didn't have to come to call us, Chachi," he said with a faint smile.

" I am so relieved to see you at least trying to smile. Beta, whatever your dad and Chachu did was necessary because of a certain clause in the will,"  she explained and he just nodded.

" Come, let's have food before it gets cold and Mahi is so tired that she might sleep without eating anything," she said and we both followed her.

Mehul was not there at home as in Raj's book, Ron came home in happy mood. It would not have been possible if he was there. He is somewhere else creating new problem.

Forbidden desires has picked up heat, Brandon and Rose are getting married in front of family and friends this time, so all his friends will join the wedding ( Ron, Raj, Myra, viren, shaurya as shlok and suhal not a part of that story. )

Rose is scared and lost in the past as well which is still not revealed. So most of the chapters will be new now. With some scenes from the past occasionally.
