Ron's POV

" Hey, Bhai... Mahi, you... here?? "   We turned to see Ruhan standing there with a bag of food.

" Hmmm, I have started working on the showroom and the offices as," Mahi replied with a smile.  The girl thanked me and excused herself out of the showroom.

Ruhan smiled back and went to give her a casual hug. He whispered something to her but I could not hear it. She nodded and said something giving a sweet smile. He hugged her once again and she smiled.

What the hell!! When did they get so close??

They seemed to be very comfortable together, Does Ruhan...?

No!!

" Ruhan?? What are you doing here? " I asked.

" Taiji sent your breakfast and lunch with me. She will come later on,"  he replied.

" Okay, thanks, now go... You must be getting late for your college. "  I said, wanted him to go as soon as possible as mom was also not here and I could talk to Mahi.

" No, I don't have my first two classes today. So I can spend some time here, now that Mahi is also here."  He said smiling at her and her face lit up.

Why??

" No! We have lots of work here. Leave!! "  I said.

" Oh, c'mon, Bhai, you need to eat so take a break while I spend some time with her. " Ruhan said.

" I am not hungry. "  I replied.

" No, you have to eat, you know our family rule. No one leaves the house without eating. "  Ruhan argued.

" Ruhan stop being my mom, go to college, study hard, your exams are coming. "  I retorted.

" I told you Bhai, my lecturer is on leave, so my first two classes are free, I would like to talk to Mahi. " he was very adamant.

" That's great!! It has been so long, let's catch up. " Mahi said with a big smile.

" Mahi, I am famished, let's have breakfast. " Ruhan said to Mahi.

" No!! I have had a heavy breakfast. "

" Oh, please!! I am hungry, let's have food, please I can't eat alone. "  Ruhan insisted she share the breakfast with him.

What was his problem? Why couldn't he go away??

" Okay but just a few bites, as you are insisting," she said and Ruhan asked a worker to get three plates.

Ruhan opened the bag and the tiffin, she served some food and served it on one plate and gave it to him. I was waiting for her to serve for me as well. But she took a seat.

" Hey, what is this?? Am I the only one who is going to eat? You agreed to have something. " he said to Mahi.

" Oh, I will take a few bites from your plate, I told you, I am not hungry,"  she replied.

What?? Why is she sharing food with him, why not use another plate? She doesn't have to wash utensils then what is the problem in using another plate?

" Oh, that's fine!!  Everything was so awesome that I was hungry again. Mahi please, join me. " Ruhan said, he picked up one cutlet and ate it, and moaned. Mahi also took one cutlet from his plate tasted it and nodded.

" Very nice... Had to be, Priya Aunty is so good at cooking," she said and tasted Poha and seemed to like it.

But I was upset that if she could serve food to him, why not me?? If she wanted to share food it should have been with me.

" Bhai, come and have food, What are you waiting for? We have Stuffed Parantha, poha, and cutlets for breakfast."

" I don't want to eat, thanks. " I said and looked into my phone. I just wanted him to leave.

" Bhai, Mom, and Taiji will scold me. Please come and join us. Mahi, please serve one more plate for him. "  Ruhan said.

" He is very old, I am sure, he can do it on his own," she replied.

" So you think, Ruhan is too young and can't do it on his own? "  I said before I could even stop myself.

Shit!!

"I served food to him as I was sharing it with him. You can take it on your own."  She replied with a raised eyebrow.

" Thanks... I can, but I won't. I am not in the mood to serve the food on my plate. Anyway, you both enjoy... " I said but just then her phone buzzed and she excused herself to take the call.

" Hey Mom, yes, I am already there, No, Aunty hasn't come till now,  but Ruhan is here and I am having breakfast sent by Aunty... okay,  I'll be there in five minutes," she said and disconnected the call.

" All the members of my team are here, Give me ten minutes, I will call my team and give some instructions to them so that they can start the work and then I will be free to talk and enjoy food," she said and turned to go out after giving him a beautiful smile. I felt very bad from within as she was smiling at him and avoiding me.

" Bhai, you are behaving weirdly... What do you mean that you don't want to serve food on your own?? I will serve food for you, but have it. " he said.

" Ruhan, I need to talk to you. " 

" About what, Bhai?" He asked.

" About Mahi. "  I said and pulled him to my cabin.

" Let me finish the food " He was a bit surprised and said.

"  Food can wait, I need to talk right now. "  I said firmly.

" What about her?? "  He asked immediately.

" What do you think about her? "  I asked.

" What do you mean?? "  Instead of answering, he asked me a dumb question.

Ughhh!

" Which part of this sentence didn't you understand? What do you think about her? "I asked out of irritation.

" She is very sweet and nice. "  He replied.

What the hell!!

" Sweet and nice?  What do you mean by that? "  I raised one of my eyebrows.

" She is a very good girl,"  he said hesitantly.

"  You like her? "  I asked directly.

" As in?? "

" You just tell me, do you like her?  "

" She has always been a good friend, we studied in the same class till class 12," he replied.

" Just... good friend? Any other feelings?? "  I asked further.

" What? No!! "  he shook his head immediately.

Thank God!!

" Good! I am happy that you like her as a person and a friend only because she is going to be your bhabhi very soon. "  I declared.

" Bh... bhabhi?? "  He asked as if the duffer had never heard the word and didn't know what it meant.

" Bhabhi means, brother's wife, sister-in-law. "  I spelled it out for him.

" Bhai... You are... ? "

"  Yes, I love her and I want her in my life. I am going to get married to her soon so If you have anything else in your mind regarding her, forget about it. She is mine!! "  I said glaring at him.

" Are you serious about her?? " he asked.

"  Do you think I am kidding? I have never been more serious in my life. loved her for years. And now I will not let anyone come between us. Not even you or her dad or any of her brothers." I said firmly.

" But... "

" No, ifs and buts. I have already told you.  She belongs to me, mine only. " I said glaring at him.

" Bhai !! Will you listen to me? I am saying that I have no problem at all, provided... "  He smiled devilishly.

Why was he smiling like that?

" Provided??? "  I raised one of my eyebrows.

"Provided... I can still flirt a bit with her."  He said grinning from ear to ear.

He must have lost it, to suggest such a thing.

"  What??  Have you lost it?? Want to be punched by me?? "  I yelled at him.

"  No, Bhai. I am absolutely sane. "  He said calmly.

"  Then why do you want to flirt with her?"   I asked.

"Why not?? She would be my sister-in-law," he asked with a smirk.

" Yes, sister-in-law. Means sister by law. So no flirting. "  I tried to make him understand.

" Sorry, but, I am going to flirt with her."

God, please give me strength to stop myself from beating him, he is my brother.

" Don't you like your face?? Want me to rearrange it?" I glared at him.

"  You are being unfair Bhai!! "  he argued.

" I am being unfair or you are demanding something unfair?? She is going to be your bhabhi. How can you flirt with her?  "  It was losing my mind while he was grinning like a fool.

" Same way you flirt with Myra di, I mean bhabhi. "  He retorted.

I have to undergo the surgery in a week as my hemoglobin level has dropped to 6. 9 so I have to get operated after transfusion of blood. So I will post till I can and then I will have to take a break as I have written just 6 more chapters.

My exclusive book will be uploaded everyday as I have posted the chapters in advance, so they will be uploaded automatically. Because if I don't upload it at least for 25 days and 50 k words, I will lose 200$. I can take only 5 holidays there.
