Ron's POV

I had to rekindle her feelings for me and remind her that her heart used to beat only for me. I tightened my arms around her as I was also getting affected by having her in my arms and I deepened the kiss, she stopped hitting me, and though she didn't return the kiss she stopped resisting, and when I felt that we needed to stop or I might lose control, I broke it finally.

" Tell me, that you don't feel anything for me, tell me that your heartbeat didn't increase, tell me you hated this kiss between us... "  I asked.

" Yes, I don't feel anything for you, My heartbeat increased as I was angry as I hated this. Now get off me or I will call Rahul uncle or Priya aunty. "  She said.

" Good, they are looking for a suitable girl for me, they will be delighted to know that we love each other and want to get married. "  I replied with a smile.

" I don't love you and certainly don't want to get married to you. Get away. You can't force yourself on me. "  She said and I saw a hint of sadness in her eyes.

Shit!! I got off her immediately and gave my hand to her to help her get up.  But she got up on her own.

" I didn't force myself on you. I just wanted you to recall how much you loved me. Did I kiss you forcefully? "

"Mr. Kapoor, the stupid girl who had an even more stupid crush on that playboy is no more. She died before she left India, I am a new girl, with no feelings for you,"  she said and I felt pain in my heart. I needed to know why she had become like that.

" Mahi, please at least tell me, why you are so angry. If it is because of the incident from that party at your place where I kissed another girl, I am extremely sorry and though I have a perfect explanation for it, I am sorry that I can't tell you.  "  I said.

" I told you, that girl is no more so I don't need your explanation,"  she said.

" All I can say is that I have loved only you till date. " I said but she laughed sarcastically, Obviously she didn't believe me.

" I am here to work at your mom's request, if you continue to do all this, I am sorry, but have to stop working with you."

"  Okay Ms Shah, continue with your work. "  I said, getting away from her, I needed to talk to Ruhan, he gave me those cards and diaries which means he must know at least something. They must have talked about it.

" I am going to my cabin, If you need my help please, call me. " I said and turned to go.

" I won't need your help, I will ask Aunty instead, when is Aunty coming? "

" I don't know, she should have been here by now. "

" Excuse me?? " I heard a voice and turned to see a beautiful girl standing there.

" Yes? "  I asked.

" I am here to meet Mrs. Kapoor, I needed some information on different types of fabric," she asked.

" Oh, she isn't here till now, did you make an appointment with her? " I asked.

" No, I haven't taken any appointments. But I was here earlier and bought many types of clothes and wanted some important and interesting facts about various materials from different parts of the country. Mrs Kapoor offered to help me. So I came here to ask for help. "  she replied.

" Can you please come later on, since she hasn't come till now, maybe she is busy somewhere else or she comes by this time. " I told her politely.

" Oh, god!! What do I do now, tomorrow is the last day to present my project. I know, I should have come earlier, but I got busy with something or other. "  She looked tensed and turned to go.

"  Wait!! He is Mr. Ranveer Kapoor, Mrs. Kapoor's son, and co-owner of this business, he may help you. " Mahi said smiling at her and then raising an eyebrow.

What was she planning to do?

" Great, can you please..." the girl asked.

" I am sorry, Miss. But I am very busy. " I replied.

" Oh, but you should help her, how can you not help a girl who needs your help? That's not fair, Mr Kapoor. And Ms... You should request him a bit more, he is a very helpful man especially if a beautiful girl like you asks for it. " Mahi said sarcastically.

" Mr Kapoor, please, I would not have bothered you if I had time. Please. " The girl pleaded. And I looked at Mahi, why did she have to do that?? She just smirked as if she was mocking me.

Let's see if you have really got over me or not.

"  Well, Sure, why not? I would love to help you, I can't see a beautiful girl like you to be sad. Ok, please tell me what you want to know."  I said and the girl smiled shyly and I saw Mahi getting annoyed looking at the girl.

Oh, my love, You are still affected watching me even talking to a girl. I will make you repent suggesting that I help the girl.

She started asking me questions and I helped her answer and gave her enough information about the different types of fabrics, soon The girl became very comfortable around me and was talking to me like we were friends.

She even flirted a bit by batting her eyes at me and tried coming a bit closer to me, she was standing so close that I had to take a few steps back to add some distance between us. I was shocked at her boldness. But I could see Mahi getting annoyed because of that.

" So, are you single?? " she asked all of a sudden.

" What?? " I was surprised that she asked such a thing.

" I asked, are you in a relationship with someone, or married or engaged? " I knew what she meant but I was a bit surprised. I didn't know what to say, so I was going to say that I loved the beautiful girl who suggested she ask for help from me. But before I could say anything, Mahi asked sharply.

" Are you going to write that in your report as well?? "  Mahi glared at her.

Ooohhh! Not bad, my ice princess.

"Oh, no, that is for my personal information. Actually, even I am not in any relationship, why don't we go out on a date ..." the girl was saying.

Oh, God!!

" Ranveer, I need your help, here. "  Mahi said all of a sudden.

Wow!! So finally, you need my help, Ms Shah?

" Wait, Ms. Shah, As per your request, I am helping this beautiful lady here. By the way, what is your beautiful name, Ms.?"  I said to Mahi and turned back to ask the name of the girl.

" Kavya," she said with a smile.

" What a beautiful name, you look like a poem itself. " I said. And from the corner of my eyes, I saw Mahi making a face and crumbling a sheet of paper.

" Awww... And you are as bold and strong as your name. Why don't we meet for a coffee or something? " she asked. And Mahi looked at her sharply and then glared at me with a raised eyebrow.

Pretend all you want, Mahi, but you are still very much affected to see me with other girls.

" Well, I don't... "

" Oh, come on, I am sure, we will enjoy each other's company. What is the problem? "  She said.

I saw Mahi getting furious as her face gained a red tint. It could only be because of the anger.

" I will have to ask my girl, to seek her permission, if she doesn't mind, I will come. "  I said looking at Mahi.

" You have a girlfriend?? " Kavya asked.

" Well, it is complicated, I have been in love for years. "  I replied.

" Why would she allow you to go out with another girl? "  She asked.

" You never know, She just suggested that I help you, and I agreed. Why don't you ask her yourself, she is right here, my girl, and my would-be wife, Mrs. Mahi Ranveer Kapoor." I said looking at my Mahi, and she turned her back to me.

But the girl was shocked.

" She is your... " she asked.

" Yes, she is mine, " I said.

" Hey, Bhai... Mahi, you... here?? "   We turned to see Ruhan standing there with a bag of food. The girl excused herself and went away.
