Ron's POV

It was late in the morning when I came out of my room because Mom and Chachi came to see if I was having a fever or anything like that and I didn't even go for breakfast. But I didn't want everyone to be worried about me so I joined them.

Everyone asked me about my headache and I told them that it was better now. Raj scolded me for driving back in that condition and said that I should have told him, he would have driven him home. Even Ruhan said that he could have come to drop me home and home back and Roohi was very upset that I didn't tell her she could have checked him and given him medicine and she always carried some basic medicines in her bag. I was touched by their love and our parents were looking at us with love.

They scolded me that even Ruhan had more sense than me that you should not drive in such a condition. I nodded and heard everything.

Mom asked me if everything was fine, I smiled and nodded.

Ruhan was very excited as it was his farewell party in school. He asked for suggestions as to what to wear for the party and we all helped him choose the formal suit. He looked very handsome in formal.

In the evening he got ready and went to the party and though I knew that I had to keep away from Mahi, I could not help going to their school just to get a glimpse of her as I had to see if she was alright...

After a few minutes, I saw her with her parents and I hid because I could not let my uncle see me.  But I managed to get a few stolen glances at her, she was looking sad but extremely beautiful in her evening gown.

I even clicked a picture of her. However, it was not very clear as the angle and lights were not proper. But I was still happy. I thought of going back and coming again at the time when the party would be over. I called Ruhan after some time and asked if the party was over. And he told me that it was almost over.  I went back to the school and after parking my car away, I came to stand at a place from where I could see anyone coming out of the school.  But just then I saw Mihir coming and I hid as I had no idea if he knew what happened last night.

What if he knew everything and if he saw me here, he might tell uncle or maybe uncle had sent him deliberately so that I could not meet her. I didn't want to create a bigger mess so I came back home.

I don't know why but I was very restless after coming back from school.  I wanted to see her again as I was not going to get a chance to see her easily otherwise. As I could not go to their home. And no other opportunities were coming in the coming week. I felt like killing someone.

I was still pacing in the garden when I saw Ruhan coming back. I rushed to him and asked, how was the party. But he kept looking at me weirdly.

" Say something!! Why are looking at me like this? "  I said.

" Nothing! The party was ... As it usually is. " He said but he didn't look or behave normal.

" What happened to you, Ruhan? Is everything fine?? "

" I am fine but what is wrong with you, Bhai??  Why are you so curious about the party ? " he said looking into my eyes very seriously for the first time.

" Ruhan, you are behaving weirdly. Different! "  I said.

"So are you... " he said and started going inside but I caught his hand and he winced.

"Ouch!! " He said and shook his hand out of pain and closed his eyes as if to control the pain.

" What happened?? "  I asked, something was wrong with his hand. I caught it again to see but he tried to hide it.

" Nothing!! "

" Ruhan, your hands are too red, show me, what happened? "

" Nothing, much! I am fine!! "

" Your hands have... burn marks, how??" I was too shocked to see it.

" Oh, nothing... "  he said looking away.

" I will punch you very hard if you don't answer me properly or say, nothing as an answer. Tell me!!"

" There was a live barbeque counter and I wanted to try making something and by mistake, I added a lot of butter on the red hot coal and.. "  he said.

" Oh, God!! Let's go inside and get them treated, you must be having pain. You idiot, you are Ruhan Kapoor, not Sanjeev Kapoor or Vikas Khanna. Why did you have to try it, when you don't even know how to cook??" I scolded him. But he kept looking at me weirdly.

I don't know what was wrong with him. But I brought him inside and let Roohi, Mom, and Chachi scold and fuss over him.

But most of the time he seemed to be either thinking something or looking at me weirdly. Something was not right but what??

He was going to his room and I followed him.

" Ruhan, what's wrong with you?? Tell me, please. You have been thinking about something..."

I tried asking him but he never told me anything. He just asked me if I had ever fallen in love.

Why did he ask that?? I asked the question from him but he said he was just curious.

I shook my head and denied, what was the point in telling him when no one knew about it, except uncle and he had warned me not to tell anything to anyone or...

He seemed very thoughtful. But what?? Was he in love with someone? I wanted to ask but he looked upset and not ready to share anything. I could understand and though I wanted to know what was bothering him I left him alone as I knew he didn't want to talk about it. I would ask him later...

Good morning, 🌄

Sorry for being late but I was not feeling well. I had gone for a checkup and my gynecologist asked me to go through some tests. And today I have high fever. So everything got late.

I have added another pov to add to the story will post in sometime, I may or may not be able to post tomorrow. Please bear with me. I am having some health issues which need to be taken care. I will try to post as soon as I can.

If I don't do it for the coming week, please understand I might have to under go a surgery.

Anyway please let me know what you think about the chapter. Will post one more today itself or may be tomorrow.

My exclusive book will be posted daily as I already posted them there in advance and they will be posted on their own.  Most of the chapters are new and getting hot slowly.
