Ron's POV
Flashback...
In surat Before Manik's engagement

There was no point in keep standing there, I turned and was about to walk away when I realized that we had been standing at the place where...

" Ron!! What are you doing here? Come inside. " I heard Shaurya calling me.

" Coming. You go... "  I said as I was wandering through memory lane.

" Come on, don't you want to see Manik's shocked expression? I don't want to miss watching that happiness on his face, that's why we all came here, right? " He asked and I nodded. He caught my arm and I went in with him.

Manik was pleasantly surprised and was very excited to see all of us. 

Mahi rushed to him and wrapped her arms around his torso.

" Aww... My sweety pie seemed to have become taller. I missed you, pumpkin. " He said and kissed her forehead.

"  Bhai, you came here merely a month ago. I missed you too, Bhai. "  She said making him laugh.

We were surprised to see a young and pretty girl living there with him in the haveli. He introduced us to her as Roshni Mehta, his ward.

Since Mahi didn't want to talk to me but was laughing with Sahaj, I also tried flirting with Roshni just like Shaurya, Viren, and Sahaj did. I wanted to see if Mahi gets affected by that.

" Hi, I am Ranveer, but they all call me Ron!! You are Roshni, can I call you Rosh?? " I said to Roshni. She nodded with a smile.

" You have such beautiful eyes, I really want to drown in them. "  I said and she was looking at me weirdly.

" I will drown him in the pool outside. Idiot!! " I heard Manik mutter. Raj, Sujal, and Shlok were laughing standing beside us. 

" Hey, sweetheart... Do you have a map? I just got lost in your eyes." I said and Roshni was smiling now but didn't say anything.

I stole a glance at Mahi she rolled her eyes and made a face.

Great!!

" You look familiar, have we met somewhere??" I asked.

" Ron, shut up!! That is an overused pick-up line even by you. As it is you have met all of them. " Shaurya said.

" No, seriously! " I said. And Mahi muttered something.

Why are you getting affected, Mahi?

I was busy noticing about Mahi and Shaurya started flirting with Roshni, and she smiled at him.

" Oh!! Such a sexy smile."  Shaurya said.

" Thanks, bhaiya!!" She said.

" BHAIYA ?? " We all said in unison as we were shocked first and then laughed at Shaurya who was still standing there in a shocked state in front of her.

Even Mahi laughed at that.

" BHAIYA? Seriously, Roshni? "  Shaurya asked.

" Yes, you are older than me... So can I call all of you bhaiya?"  She asked sweetly.

All of us shook our heads immediately.

We all enjoyed a lot but Mahi didn't even look at me once and spent all her time with Saanjh.

The next day we all were having breakfast on their beautiful lawn. And during a light and teasing conversation, Myra mentioned in front of all of us teasing Viren that he had a crush on Srusti Mami.

" You really had a crush on her, Viren Ji? "  Roshni asked.

" I think so... But I was only six years old at that time. " He said.

" And how old was she?? "  She asked.

"Twenty-three may be. "  He said.

" So she was seventeen years older than you? " She asked with shock.

" So what?? She was still my first crush. " He said and she smiled.

Why the hell were they discussing such a stupid thing??

I stole a glance at Mahi and saw that she was as uncomfortable as I was. But I could not do anything about it.

" Can I ask you something?? Is an age gap of 7-8 years too much for a couple? Would their relationship not work?? " She asked. And I saw Mahi, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. And when she opened her eyes and gave a fake smile.  

Oh, God! I felt very bad.

Are they going to leave that topic?

" It's not like that, if you really love someone, the age gap doesn't matter. It all depends on the understanding between the couple. " Viren said getting serious for once.

" Yes, I also thought so... " Roshni said with a broad smile.

I think Manik was also getting uncomfortable with the topic because he talked about having breakfast. It was a good idea to change the topic and mood so I said.

"  Same here, and if our beautiful Rosh has prepared anything out of these, I would love to try it. " I said.

" Try these, I made them. " She said and served Handvo and Thepla to Viren and Sahaj who were sitting on either side of her.

" Wow! It looks amazing. " Sahaj said.

" Hey, I want it too. " Shaurya said.

" Yes, sweetheart, serve it to shaurya bhaiya and other bhaiyas like Ron, as well. " Viren said and the rest of them laughed.

" Shut up, Viren... I am not anyone's bhaiya. " I said.

" Roohi, stop calling Ron as bhaiya. He just said he is not anyone's brother." Shaurya said. Roohi nodded and pouted.

" Sorry, Rooh!!  You know what I meant. Only you can call me bhai.
" I was pleading as Roohi was not talking to me now, fake acting but it lightened the Atmosphere. 

" I hate you, Viren!! Look what have you done. " I said. Roohi smiled at that and Everyone burst out laughing.

We all were enjoying the food and praised the dishes made by her and flirting while she was getting comfortable with us.

" They are awesome Roshni. " Mahi said.

" Thanks!! I am glad you all liked them. " She said giving a smile to all of us.

Mahi kept looking at her plate and pretended to be enjoying her food though only I knew what she might be thinking. After about Five minutes, she excused herself and went to her room. 

I was dying to talk to her, but she never gave me a chance. I even thought of going to her room to talk to her but could not do it. I could not go to her room and offend or hurt her more.

The brunch was over and we all went to go sightseeing like Gopi Talav, Surat palace, and the National Museum, but she stayed as far as she could.  I tried talking to her again as Manik and Mihir both were busy and I got a chance.

I caught her hand and pulled her aside.

" What is your problem? "

" My problem is mine, you have nothing to do with it. Now leave my hand. "

" Not till you tell me why are you so upset. "

" I am not upset, leave me, I want to show this place to my friends. "

" Friends? Who? "

" Saanjh, Sahaj, Roo... "

" Yeah, of course, Sahaj. When did you become friends with him?" 

" Why do you think, you could ask me that and I will reply? He is my friend, any problem? "

" Yes, I have a problem. He is... "

" I know how he is... Go and save your precious Roshni, by the way, she is even younger than me."

" I know. "

" Well then, go and flirt with her, or one of your friends, or maybe Sahaj will win her attention. After all, you all are too old for her and Sahaj is just a few years older than her. "

" Are you jealous? "

"  Are you joking? "

"Mahi! "

" Yes, Mr. Ranveer Kapoor? "

" I used to be Ron for you. "

" Leave me... Or will call one of my brothers. "

" They are busy. "  I said but she managed to call Saanjh. I could not talk in front of her. So I had to let Mahi go.

The next day we all went to the amusement and waterpark.

Raj took his seat with Myra and Sahaj managed to sit along with Roshni. I wanted to have Mahi sitting next to me so that I could hold her to me as Raj was holding Myra or the way Roshni held Sahaj's arm and he placed his arm around her. But Mahi was enjoying the rides with Saanjh.

After the rides, we all went to the pool and I was literally surprised to see Mahi when she removed her loose top and shorts. She had really grown up. She was not a child, but a beautiful girl. And I wanted to be with her with desperation. But as usual, she spent all her time with Saanjh, Roohi, Sahaj, and Mihir

I didn't get any time with her to clear the matter between us during the whole time and then everything changed all of a sudden and Raj was so shattered and upset after he came to know that Myra was Manik's girlfriend, we came back to Delhi, first thing in the morning.

I thought that I would go and talk to Mahi but they arranged the surprise engagement be fore I could talk to her.

I was still thinking about all this when I got a call from a new number.
