Mahi's POV
Flashback...

" Mahi, look at the notebook. How will you learn like this? " He said, I nodded and he explained again.  Once he finished, he asked if I understood, and I nodded.

" Good, now go and study. I have to help them or they will beat me. " He said with a smile but I took it seriously.

" Bhai and Raj, don't beat him or I will complain to Mom and Dad, he was helping me in my studies. " I said. And all three of them smiled at me and Bhai told me to go and tell the cook to send cold coffee, for them.

It meant that they were going to take a break...

" I also want it. " I said

" But you don't like it, don't you want to drink your chocolate or strawberry milkshake? " Bhai said with a surprised look.

" Ron, what will you have, coffee or milkshake?? I will drink a milkshake, will you have it with me? " I asked.

" No, Mahi, the milkshake is for kids like you, I will have Coffee. " He said with a smile.

  " I am not a kid. " I said making a face.

" Ok, I take my words back, milkshakes are for kids and young princesses like you, I will have something bitter, not meant for you," he said, I smiled and went to the kitchen again to tell the cook to make coffee.

" And as always, milkshake for you, Mahi baby? " He asked with a smile.

" No, first of all, do not call me baby. I am a young girl. And I will try coffee today. "  I said.

" But, you don't like it.  " He reminded me.

" I will like it now. "  I said and he looked at me weirdly.

" Oh, ok... Will add extra ice cream to yours. " He said with a smile and I nodded with a big smile.

I went back to bhai's room but they sent me back, saying that they needed to discuss something.

I went to my room and kept looking at his handwriting for a very long time and then kept that rough notebook safely as I  wanted to look at it every day.

That day, I drank cold coffee though I never liked it before. I drank coffee and smiled.

I could recall another incident when I was trying to win a cute little panda in a game stall in school fest but didn't succeed, I was disappointed as the panda was so cute. Just then my hero happened to pass from there.

" What happened little princess? Why are you looking so sad? " He asked bending to come to the level of my face. As he was so tall like a tree.  I could not even reach his shoulder.

" Ron!! I want that panda but I could not win it. "  I told him.

" Ok, don't be sad, I will get it for you. " He said.

" Will you? " I asked and he nodded.

"Yes, wait and watch. " He said and played the game and won it for me. I was jumping with joy. " He gave it to me and bent again.

" Do you want anything else, I will get it for you. " He said with a smile. I shook my head and smiled at him and he gave me a very cute smile.

I knew that in that pivotal instant, my life had been changed forever. My heart, once untouched by love, was now beating with a newfound intensity, my soul was ignited by the hero who had saved me from the clutches of a tragic fate.

Each and every interaction, every shared moment fueled the flames of my affection, as I started daydreaming about a future where we could be more than just friends.

In the depths of my heart, I knew that my heart belonged to him, undeniably and irrevocably.  With every fiber of my being, I fell helplessly in love with him, my emotions entangled in a web of admiration and adoration.

In my innocence, I even confided in my parents, expressing my desire to marry Ron someday when I grow up.

It was a holiday, both my brothers were not at home so, my parents and I were sitting and watching a nice family film when a scene came where a girl was getting married and was going to live with her new husband. Her parents were sobbing when she left.

My dad got a bit emotional and hugged me tight.

" I don't want my princess to grow up fast, I don't want to send her away. I would not be able to do it. " He said and kissed my head.

" Dad, why does she have to go with that man, can't she see that her parents are not happy? "  I asked.

" No, my baby, they are very happy that she got married but they are sad that now she will live with her husband in his home. "  Mom replied.

" Why?? "  I asked.

"  Because now that she is married, she will start her new family with her husband. "  Mom replied.

" But why does she need to leave her parents? " I was still not convinced.

" It is like that when you will grow up and meet your prince, we will get you married to him. He would take you away from us. " Mom said.

" No, I will not go, leaving you."

" But you will have to go as your prince would insist that you go with him. " 

" And you will allow him to do it? You will send me away? "  I was shocked as I loved my family a lot.

" Beta, I wish that I could change this custom, but it is an old custom, the girl goes to live with a boy's family after marriage, and his family will insist that you live with them. I also left my parents and brother to come and live with your dad to start our own family. "

" No, Dad!! Please tell Rahul uncle that I don't want to leave you. He will tell him not to insist that I leave you. " I said to assure my dad as if I gave him the solution to his problem.

" Rahul will tell that to whom? " Dad looked shocked. His eyes were about to come out of his face.

" His son, who else, if he tells him... "

" Which son? Raj?" Dad asked getting very inquisitive.

" No Dad! " How can Dad think that I will marry anyone but my hero?

" Ron?? " Dad asked with an eyebrow and his volume raised.

" Yes, Dad. I like him, I will marry him. He is Bhai's friend. He would agree if Bhai tells him to let me stay here. Otherwise, you talk to Uncle or Priya Aunty. They would not like to see us crying. "  I said.

" You want to marry Ron? " Dad asked but I didn't know why he had that angry expression on his face.

" Yes, I will. He is my superhero." I said.

" Megha, what is going on?? " Dad looked very tense. But mom told him to relax.

" Mahi, why don't you ask the cook to make more popcorn and get some juice to drink?" Mom said and I went to get drinks as I was thirsty after having popcorn. But just then I thought of asking them which juice they wanted and went back to their room.

They were talking about Ron. So I stopped at the door to hear what they were saying.

" Ron? Like seriously? Did you know about this? "  Dad asked mom.

" No! And it is nothing! Calm down. It is just a crush. Infatuation. Will go with time. "  Mom said, she didn't know that it was increasing with time.

" But, Ron? You know how he is, I have seen him talking with so many girls. Girls are always following him wherever he goes." Dad was not convinced.

" So what? What can he do about it? And girls are following all 7 boys, especially  Ron, Shaurya, Viren, and even Manik. But you don't have a problem with others, what's wrong with Ron? "

" Manik is Mahi's brother, and Shaurya and Viren don't matter to her. Did you not hear her declaration of her love for Ron?? She has even planned to marry him. What the hell!! I swear, I will break... "  Dad was getting angry.

" Oh, come on, Mehul, you will not do any such thing or we will lose our good friends. And they are just children, Mahi has a crush on him, what is his fault?  Don't you dare say anything to him, or Mahi will get hurt, for her, Ron is her superhero, she is just a child. Even I will not forgive you. "  Mom said glaring at him.

" But Ron? I have seen him flirting with girls, If it was Raj, I would not have minded. But I will not allow Ron anywhere near her."  Dad said.

" But it was Ron who saved her life, she likes him, not Raj. You need to understand. " Mom said. They were arguing and I was standing outside the door, feeling very bad.

My dad was angry with Ron. I didn't want him to scold or beat Ron. I had to stop him, I could not let Dad hurt him.

Friends I will start my exclusive book 'Forbidden desires ' on Mytopia app from Ist August. It is the western version of forbidden. The main storyline is the same but the end is different and it is quite different from the original one with less characters and it has more shades in the  characters of the main protagonists.

I am having some problem, can anyone please  solve this issue:
    I had to unpublish some chapters of the stubborn love temporarily now I want to publish them again but when I try to do it, the app closes. I am not able to publish them again.
