Mehul's POV

Megha was scared to see his hand but I told her to give royal treatment to Aarav as I had refused Mudit Bhai's suggestion once again as I wanted Ron to get married to Mahi, so I didn't want them to feel that we were disrespectful towards them. 

But that day, the way he talked to me with confidence, a bit of arrogance, and still never got rude, in fact, was over polite and courteous, despite being pissed off with me, I could not help getting more impressed by Ron, he was absolutely the moment st eligible bachelor for my daughter. I could trust him with my daughter, he would do anything to keep my daughter happy.

So once Mihir's engagement was over, I was going to announce the guy I had selected for my daughter and ask Rahul and Priya to accept my daughter as their daughter-in-law, but Megha said she wanted to do it and I allowed her to do it as I knew she was aware of the fact that Ron and Mahi loved each other, but what she announced shocked me beyond limit.

They got married??? Married?? Without me being there, to give away her hand to him (kanyadan)? How could they get married like that??

Ron's POV

" Ron, hurry up!!" Mom was saying.

" Coming, mom. There is a lot of time, to go to court, please don't worry."  I said coming out of the room.

Ruhan and Raj were already waiting in the living room with the elders while Roohi and Myra were yet to come.

" I can't believe that just 15 days back we were thinking about finding suitable girls for Raj and Ron, and now both are married. " Chachu said.

"Yes, both of them got married all of a sudden. We could not enjoy the preparations of the weddings. It is so much fun to do preparation and shopping and everything related to weddings. " Chachi said.

" But I am happy, they got the love of their life as their partners. Just like Priya and I. " Dad said.

They all looked happy, especially Raj and Ruhan since they came to know that I was getting married. Raj's phone was switched off earlier but the next day, as soon as he opened his phone, he called me.

" What happened?? I got 27 missed calls from you. "

"  I needed to talk to you, why was your phone switched off? " I said.

" Last time, all our friends, called and disturbed us so much, so we... "

" So, it seems, someone got lucky last night. " I teased him.

" Of course!! But you tell me, why did you call me so many times? " Raj asked.

" Come home immediately!!" I said.

" What?? Why?? We just got up. "

" You just got up?? It is 11 AM... "  I said and then realized why they got up late.

" So!! Are you not being yourself or in some problem that your mind is not working?? "

" Raj, come home immediately. "

" You are saying as if there is some emergency... "

" Yes, I am getting married tomorrow in the morning. So come home immediately. " I finally told him.

" Oh, please, give me a break!!   "  He laughed making fun of me.

" Raj, I am serious. Ask anyone at home. " I replied.

" Really?? But how is that possible?? All of a sudden? "

" Yes, Dad is being very adamant that I have to get married tomorrow morning in court. "

" Court marriage?? With Mahi?? " he asked hesitantly.

" Of course, I would not have agreed otherwise. " I replied.

But what is the hurry?? You haven't even told Mahi about your feelings...We could not enjoy my wedding, but that was a different case, why are you getting married like this? "

" Come home, I will tell you everything. Raj, I want you here, I need to tell you so many things... Come soon. "

" Coming! Will be there in two hours," he said and disconnected the call.

Previous day...

Myra and Raj came home, they both looked very happy but surprised and excited to know why was I getting married in such haste.

He rushed to me the moment he saw me and took me aside.

" Now tell me what is going on? " he asked and I told him everything. He punched me hard.

" Raj!! "

" Don't talk to me!! You went through so much, and didn't even tell me? You are a part of me, Ron. I never hide anything from you. But you never even tell me about Mahi or her feelings for you. How could you not trust me enough to tell me everything??
Do you think that I was not mature enough to understand all that?? You discussed your problem with Shaurya, but not with me?? And he is such an idiot to give you such advice. Why didn't you tell me? "  He was annoyed as hell.

" Raj, I know how much you love me, you would not have been able to see me suffering and would have told my mom or dad. " I explained.

" Yes, and that would have been the right step. How can he threaten you like that?  " Raj was very angry at the moment.

" Calm down, Raj!! I am sorry, I  didn't tell you but I knew you would react like Dad. "

" Anyway, I am happy that you are getting married to Mahi," he said. Myra also joined us and teased me about Mahi, I could not help smiling. She looked very happy.

At the court...
In the morning

We reached the court and in about five minutes, Mahi and her family also came she looked beautiful in a light and elegant pink traditional dress. I could not take my eyes off her.

" Stop looking at her like that. " Myra whispered to me, and my face became hot.

Raj went to them, he greeted Aunty by touching her feet, hugged Manik, and then turned to Mahi and said something to her. She blushed immediately. He extended his hand in front of her and asked.

" I have been waiting since morning, in fact, could not sleep for the whole night, let's get married as soon as possible,"  he said. Mahi blushed even more. And placed her hand on his.

Oh my God!!

" Hey!! Enough of that, I am here. " I said. But Myra placed her hand on my arm and smiled.

What does that mean??

" It's ok, Raj, it's their day. Don't disturb them.  Are they not looking good together, Raj? " Myra asked looking at me. I could not say anything.

" Congratulations to both of you!! Welcome to our family."

They were paying me off with the same silly game. Everyone in our family was smiling.

" Thanks, Myra!! " Mahi said shyly.

" Hey, beautiful!! You are looking even more beautiful today.  " Ruhan went to her and hugged her.

" Thanks, Ruhan. Even you are looking good. " She said.

" Drop Bhai, get married to me, as it is he is getting old, I am more handsome than him,  younger and smarter. You know all the girls in our class were crazy about me." Ruhan said and she smiled.

" Thanks but no thanks. "  she shook her head.

Awww!!

" Shut up, you idiot!! Stay away from my beautiful bride, or I will break your jaw. " Raj said, wrapped his arm around her shoulder, and winked at me.

Idiot!!

I went towards them but Raj said, " Hey Raj, don't leave Myra alone... You both were looking so good standing there. Myra, keep a tight hold on Raj and tell him not to disturb us. We have to plan our honeymoon. "  Raj said and Myra smiled.

Idiots!!

" Mom?? " I said looking at Mom.

" Yes, Raj?? "

" Mom, you too?? " I said and everyone laughed.

Fine!! Let's see what you will do now.

" Ron, your would-be bride is looking so pretty, at least kiss her... "  I said. My family burst out laughing while Raj,  Aunty, Manik, Mihir, and Mahi looked shocked at the suggestion.

" Are you out of your mind?? " Myra said.

" Oh, c'mon honey, they are getting married in an hour. Ron has a right to kiss her now.  "  I winked at him.

" Are you out of your mind, everyone is here?? " Raj said glaring at me.

" So what??  You had suggested that I do it, after Myra's first cooking and I kissed her in front of everyone. I am sure no one has a problem. C'mon Ron, kiss Mahi. If Raj can kiss Myra, why can't Ron kiss Mahi? Right, Myra?" I said. My family was laughing by now but the Shah family was confused. 

But Myra glared at both Raj and me and went to them, leaving my arm, and Pulling him away from Mahi.
