I just felt like running, so I did. I ran so fast, I ran to my house. I didn't once stop not even if I heard Alex's heavy footsteps behind me. I light burning feeling built up in my stomach and then I felt as if I couldn't breath. I stumbled, almost falling all together then rested my hands on my knees.

I didn't even try to run now, even if I knew he was behind me.

"Your still weak since the accident." He said caring about my health, that's priceless considering how he didn't care about my feelings at all. I'm all just a joke to him.

"I am f-fine." I said out of breath and letting a tear role down my face.

"I just want to say I am sorry, I didn't mean to upset you." Alex said with a frown. Had he expected me to forgive him after what he has done?

I bit my lip and turned to him. Looking him dead in the eyes. Even though I knew I was hurting, I had to keep up a cold front. I can't fall for him again.

Who knew a guy with such beautiful, innocent eyes could murder a girl's feelings.

"Sorry? Alex you knew I fell for you, yet you carry on with this stupid bet. Why didn't you tell me then, maybe I wouldn't be this angry if you had said it when you first kissed in the bathroom at the party?"

"I wasn't in love with you then and I didn't care about about hurting your feelings, that night I was heartbroken and I needed a rebound, now I don't want to hurt you, but it seems that I am to late for that." Alex said trying to convince me to forgive him, but I wasn't going to let him win this fight.

Who knows, he might just continue to think of me as a bet and I don't think I could allow that.
