Chapter 13

Walburga was furious when Narcissa never showed at her ball. So much so that Walburga had forbidden her niece to attend any further balls, to avoid the embarrassment of the Black family name. Narcissa didn't care about attending any more matchmaking balls.

She had found her match, it had been nearly two months since she and Lucius had abandoned the aunt ball and had fun at the carnival. Narcissa was receiving horrible backlash from her father regarding the rejection of Walburga Ball, which she had worked so hard to plan for her.

Sirius and Regulus were far too young to have the own matchmaking ball, though Narcissa got the feeling Sirius had already found his match. Walburga went out of her way to host a ball in Narcissa's honour, Narcissa never asked her to, in her mind, she didn't need to attend. Narcissa tossed the bed cover off her,

"Stay in bed with me,"

"I can't I have to go home at some point," Narcissa said, Lucius groaned, pulling Narcissa back down to lay with him

"Why? It's lonely when you leave," Lucius mumbled

"I'll be back later, I promise,"

"Don't make it too late, my father going to be home for dinner, it'd be great if you could join us," Narcissa nodded, Lucius pressed his lips against hers. Narcissa reached for her clothes, she could feel Lucius gaze watching her.

"Turn over," She said, he groaned laying down putting his pillow over his face.

Narcissa quickly got dressed, she lifted her wand to her hair, tying her hair in a loose ponytail. While Narcissa told Lucius she had to go home, she had to make just one extra stop before coming back to Malfoy Manor. Luckily for Narcissa, neither of her parents were home so she could easily grab some new clothes and be out before they even knew she had been.

Narcissa apparated to a small village, she didn't apparate accurately to where she wanted to go, she wandered around looking for the place she was visiting. An elderly man, saw her looking lost, he approached her, Narcissa jumped, not expecting someone to talk to her.

"Are you alright, dear," he asked, "you seem lost?"

"I'm looking for Andromeda Black, do you where I might find her?"

"I don't know about Black, but Andromeda Tonks lives just down that road. Wonderful family she and Edward have the most adorable little girl, are you a friend of the family," Narcissa nodded,

This muggle was a stranger and yet he was willing to help her, the old man spoke so kindly to her. He was even kind enough to walk Narcissa towards the Tonks residence, Narcissa kept quiet not knowing what she talk to the muggle about. 'Andromeda would know what to say,' she thought.

"Alright there you are, dear, take care of yourself," the elderly man, walked away slowly using a walking stick to ease his unsteadiness,

Narcissa creased her brows, never had she talked with a muggle before. He was nothing like her parents taught her. Narcissa shook her head, walking towards Andromeda's home, she knocked lightly on the door, Andromeda opened the door, immediately embracing Narcissa, guiding her inside her home.

"I'm so happy to see you, what brings you here?" Andromeda asked, Narcissa looked around waiting for Nymphadora to come running in.

"Isn't your daughter here?"

"No, Ted took her to see his parents,"

"Do they know you're a witch?"

"Yes and they're incredibly supportive, they fascinated by Dora's ability," Andromeda said "I saw Mr Withers walk you here, were you alright with him?"

"Yes, he was very kind,"

"He lost his wife a few months ago they'd been together for 60 years, he's been really lonely, Ted sometimes goes and keeps him company,"

"That's really sad, does he have children?"

"No, he and his wife couldn't," Andromeda told her, Narcissa looked down at her lap,

"I'm sorry was there something you wanted to tell me,"

"Yes, I've been getting close with Lucius again," Narcissa told her, "I believe in us this time, he's been more honest with me, he even opened up to me about his mother,"

"Cissy, that's amazing I'm so happy for you, you aren't the only one, who's in love at the minute,"

"Who else is in love?"

"Why cousin Sirius of course," Andromeda said, Narcissa smiled

"No way, don't tell me, he and Aimee finally got together,"

"Yes, he wrote to me, just after Christmas, he loves her so much, you should hear how he talks about her," Andromeda stood from her chair, reaching in a draw, taking a letter out for Narcissa to read it.

Dear Andy,

How have you been? It seems like forever ago since I've seen you. I have something I want to tell you, I'm in love with Aimee. I knew I loved her for a while, but every time I see her, there's something new I love, there are her eyes, her beautiful blue eyes, her laugh, you know, she has a laugh that makes you laugh.

I invited her to my mother's ball, Andy you should have seen her she looked flawless. After mother and father went to bed, I took her for a walk in the garden, and I kissed her. The best thing was she kissed me back. I just had to tell you. I hope I hear from you soon.

Sirius.

"That's so adorable," Narcissa said, rereading over the letter. "I best leave I told Lucius, I'd have dinner with him and his father, I'll try and see you again soon,"

Narcissa embraced Andromeda, leaving her home, as she apparated to Malfoy Manor, she had the biggest smile on her face. She always enjoyed Andromeda company, a lot more the Bellatrix, though she couldn't let anyone know that she had been seen her.

Narcissa couldn't believe that finally, Sirius had the guts to ask out his friend, who he had a crush on for what seems like the longest time. Aimee was a dear friend of Narcissa and Lucius, and she was so happy that Sirius and Aimee were now where they were supposed to be together.

Just like her and Lucius.
