You walk into your room with many thoughts in your head of what to wear to the Yule ball with Draco.

Sarsha and Millicent stare at you with 'I told you so' facial expressions and you say "I don't like him, it just happened."

Sarsha chuckles and says "Yeah, right"

"no no really, I felt bad about what I said to him earlier yesterday" you say again trying to convince them.

They roll their eyes and walk away.

You suddenly see an owl flying through your window with a package attached to it's foot.

You take it from the owl's foot and the owl flys away making noise, it felt like there were something rather fluffy in there predicting it would be a blanket you open it up seeing a note and then another layer of wrapping, how annoying!

You scan across the note and instantly recognise it front the handwriting, it was your mother.

Dear Y/n.
I have heard your going to the Yule ball with someone special, I wrapped you a nice dress that I wore for my Yule ball. I hope you like it and I also have a packet of my freshly baked cookies that I made inside of that as well.

P.s. I found out about the ball because me and Narcissa Malfoy may or may not have someone listening about it for us because Draco told his mother about asking you to the ball.

You felt like it was slightly awkward but opened it seeing a dress the same colour as a red velvet cupcake.

2 weeks later..

"This fits perfectly" you say, it was the day of the Yule ball and you were going with Draco Malfoy as planned.

"Awesome, I'm asking Ron Weasley last second." Sarsha says "I know he's a gryffindor and we're supposed to hate him or something but he is just amazing and I was always hoping there would be a Weasley brother in our grade."

"Hah ok" you say turning around to your back where Sarsha is "The pink really compliments your skin tone Sarsh!"

She smiles and then there is an announcement to go to the hall or you will be late. You and Sarsha walk down seeing Millicent next to Goyle already.

You wait with Sarsha in the hall until she sees Ronald and then goes up to him and asks him to the ball. Luckily he has no one so your bestie has someone to got to the ball with.
