5th Grade

Only 6 more years till I could drive, only 8 more years till I graduate high school, and then go to college. 16 more years till I marry the love of my life.

We spent the whole summer together. We went to the beach with our parents. I snuck her out of the house to get ice cream down the street. And yes, we definitely got caught. But I would do over and over again to see her laugh.

The summer sun brought out her freckles across her face. The sun had lightened her hair and we shared our first kiss. It happened the night we snuck out, I kissed her under the moonlight on the boardwalk by the beach. It was short but it made her blush.

We didn't talk for 2 weeks after that, we were so nervous.

All I know is that I'm going to be with her forever.
