"No way!" A loud exclaim echoed up the street. Following the sound, a tall figure came into few. "Not a single one.." The young male growled through his teeth. Boots stomping, he made his way to the other side of the traffic lane. A group of young high schoolers passed him like a blur, not a single being recognizing his presence.

His dark sea-colored eyes shone with a dark menace as he glared left and right, temper beginning to rise with each passing look.

"Yato...Yato!" A distant voice began to call him. He froze as he slowly turned around, "H-Hiyori.." He hesitated. The girl running towards him quickly halted, gasping for air. "W-Where..are..you..g-going?" She asked, in between sudden breathes. Yato's expression grew glum instantly, but quickly attempted to lighten. "Nowhere important.." He never wanted to admit to her that he once again failed to get a job request.

Grasping his lie she shortened the distance between them. "Don't LIE to me.." She added, poking him roughly in the chest. "You failed again..didn't you?" Yato tried to turn away from her defiant glare, becoming embarrassed with each passing second. "S-So what if I did..?" He mumbled. "WHAT? So you'd rather be a failure? Is that it?" She fumed.

Yato clenched his fists, equally matching her anger. "No... You don't understand at all! Get away from me right now.." He turned and stomped away from her, annoyance burning deep inside him.
