Mr. Jin throws his napkin on the table and stands up. "If they have, do you really think you'll be fine on your own?"

"Abeoji-" Young Seo speaks but is cut off when he holds up his hand.

"Then with me out of the house, you won't have to keep putting up with me. And I assure that they haven't but thank you for your concern. Now if you'll excuse me, unnie and I are going to spend the day together before my interview. I hope that your work goes well for you today." She answers and bows before him before taking her leave.

"Was that really necessary? Can't you see that she's doing well? Why did you have to bring that up?!" Young Seo snaps at him.

"Is she really? Or are you forcing yourself to believe that?" He questions her with a look of disbelief.

"At least she's trying to move forward! You're the only one here who continues to live in the past! How much longer are you going to keep it up?" Young Seo glares at him before throwing her napkin on the table and leaving.

At Go Food, the chief secretary follows the chairman until the older man come to a stop at a window that allows them to see the view of the city.

"Sung Hoon. You cleared Tae Moo's schedule, right? I'm hoping that one of those ladies will be a good match for him." Da Goo asks.

"Yes, Mr. Chairman. He was trying to get out it by saying he's too busy trying to find an ambassador for the company."

"That boy is unbelievable. I can take care of that; he needs to get his nose out of work for once... He lost his parents at a young age, and I was always too busy to really be there for him as his grandfather. How nice would it be for him to start his own family and love and care for them?" He sighs and smiles at Sung Hoon. "This goes for you too. Aren't you going to get a girlfriend? Don't just work all the time like my grandson. Go find a good girl yourself and introduce her to me. Okay?"

Sung Hoo smiles back and nods.

The sisters near the convenience store when Young Seo's phone begins rings. She checks it and she gasps upon seeing text their father sent her.

"Uh, sis! I need to take a call! I'll be right back! Could you get my drink for me, sis?! Thank you!" Young Seo shouts as she runs away.

"Hmm... She must have done something sneaky again..." She shrugs and enters the store.

After purchasing their drinks, a young boy bump into her accidentally marking her white skirt with a black marker.

"Are you okay?!" His mother looks at Yeona with concern before scolding her son. "I told you not to fool around!"

Yeona reassures the mother that she's fine before crouching down to the crying child's level.

"Sweetie." She takes the marker from him and holds it up in front of him. "You shouldn't run around with things like this, right?" He nods. "Exactly. You could poke your eye out, hurt someone else or ruin someone's outfit that might've cost a fortune. If you promise me that you won't do it again, I'll show you a magic trick."

They pinky swear and she uses the marker to draw on the marking he made.

He gasps then smiles. "A teddy bear!"

"Yep, just like the teddy on my t-shirt here. Now she has a twin." She says, smiling back. "Thank you for learning your lesson. Continue being a good boy, okay?"

"Yes." He replies, giggling as she gently pats his head.

"Let me pay you back for the dry cleaning." His mother says.

"It's alright. I scribbled more than he did." Yeona tells her, standing back up and returning the marker. "Have a good day."

She grabs her drinks and leaves the store, unaware of the man that was watching the scene with a small smile.

"Here you go, unnie. How did your phone call go?"

"Ah, nothing to worry about." Young Seo lies, not wanting her to know about the blind date and plans with Hari. She then gasps seeing the drawing on Yeona's skirt. "What happened?!"

"A little boy bumped into me and..." Yeona begins to explain until she realizes that she left her wallet. "Oh, I have to go back!"

"Excuse me. You left this." 

She turns around to see Sung Hoon holding out her wallet to her. Suddenly it's as if time freezes except the two of them. He becomes dazed by her beauty and gets a sense of familiarity while staring at her. Young Seo grins as she watches the two of them.

"Thank you so much! You're a lifesaver!" She takes her wallet back and gives him her signature sweet smile. "Let me pay you back."

"...Ah, it's no problem." He replies after a moment and glances at her skirt. "Are you alright? I saw what happened back there."

"Oh, this is nothing. I'm more thankful that little boy didn't hurt himself." She replies and looks down at her skirt. "It's kinda cute, isn't it?"

Her giggle makes his heart flutter and before he can reply, his phone interrupts their moment. He takes it out of his coat pocket and see that it's Tae Moo calling.

"Oh, you can take that. We have to get going now anyway. Thank you again. If we meet again, I'll treat you to something."

Hiding his disappointment, he gives her a nod. She gives him her sweet smile once more and a bow before walking away. Young Seo watches her sister with a shocked expression and quickly says goodbye to Sung Hoon before chasing after her.

"Yah! Are you crazy?!" Young Seo yells and once she catches up with her, she links their arms together. "Why didn't ask for his number?! He's so gorgeous!"

Sung Hoon continues watching the Jin sisters even after answering his phone.

"Sir. Why did you have to call me at this moment?" He asks, trying to not sound annoyed.

"Wh- Are you giving me attitude? What did I interrupt more important than the blind dates that I'm forced to go on? Tell me. I know it can't be work related since you cleared my schedule without my permission. And you told me you were heading to the store... Were you talking to a woman?"

"I'll be back soon, sir. I'm hanging up now."

"So you were! What's her na-"

He hangs up and sighs. As he heads back to his car, his mind wanders to that beautiful woman and puts a small smile on his face.

"Just a couple questions left. Before you were known for doing international projects such as Marvel and The Hauntings. But this year you starred in Korean shows Vincenzo and Squid Game. What made the change?"

"Well, I never got to star in any Korean show or movie. While I am grateful for the opportunities I had gotten overseas, I wanted to return to my roots. While both those shows were also international, I plan to only have projects in my hometown for now. It gives me a chance to be closer to my family and friends who I missed very much." Yeona answers with a sincere smile.

"Ah, such kindness! Now your inspiration-" The interviewer is cut off by someone suddenly screaming.

Nearby, Hari is trying to figure out a way to get away from Tae Moo who just got them a room to the hotel due to her suggestion. She stops when she notices Yeona in the lounge.

"Do you know her?" Tae Moo asks returning to her side when he noticed her not following him.

"A-ah, yes!" She lets out an awkward laugh. "She's my little sister! I wasn't aware she'd be here. She must be doing an interview... Wait! Since she's here, maybe we shouldn't-" 

She screams out in pain when she is suddenly grabbed by the back of her head.

"I caught you! You were just in a room with Min-sik an hour ago and now you're getting a room with another guy?! What a piece of trash!" The woman yells.

"What are you doing?!" Tae Moo yells, grabbing the woman's wrist and ripping her off Hari. He then takes a protective stance in front of her. "Instead of attacking her and making a scene, could you explain yourself first?"

"Yeah, what he said! I don't even know who you are and what you're talking about! I don't even know a Min-sik!"

"So you're going to play dumb?" The woman takes out her phone and shows them a picture. "Isn't this you?"

"This..." Hari grabs a lock of her hair, looking at it. "She does look similar but... Okay we look similar but long hair is a common look! And these clothes are new this season, so many people wear them. And my little sister got me these accessories! Anyway, that's not me."

"So you're going to keep lying?" The woman sighs. "You little-"

Tae Moo grabs the woman's shoulders and pushes her back.

"Why don't you go get your boyfriend under control? It takes two to cheat, it's not something she did on her own." He says shocking her and looks back at Hari. "Let's go."

 He walks away first with Hari hurrying after him. Yeona had been watching the scene and has a proud smile on her face seeing the man defend her best friend. But it doesn't last long as she sees the woman chase after them. She turns back to the interviewer with her signature sweet smile making her blush. 

"I'm sorry but that last question will have to wait a little longer. I need to go help a friend of mine since that woman just won't take the hint. Is that okay? It shouldn't take long."

"Of course! I'll be right here waiting!" Yeona bows her head and gets up from her seat, following after them. The interviewer sighs and pats her cheeks. "I knew she was a sweetheart, but I could see the fire in her eyes... That was kinda hot. Should I go watch?"

Outside the hotel, the woman catches up to them and grabs Hari's arm.

"Yah! We're not done here!" The woman raises her other hand and before Tae Moo can stop her, someone else does. She looks back, glaring at Yeona. "What do you think you're doing?!"

"Were you just about to hit her with your phone?" Yeona asks, taking the phone and pushing her away. She looks at the picture and scoffs. "Ma'am. This woman's hair is clearly lighter than hers. That's not even the same dress and the shoes are different. You have the wrong person. Now please take this issue to your boyfriend instead and not drag innocent people into it."

"Excuse you? Who do you think you are to interfere? This has nothing to do with you." She snaps at Yeona.

"I believe it does when you're attacking someone very close to me." Yeona replies, crossing her arms.

The woman stares at her for a moment until she slowly smirks. "Ah, I see. You must be the little sister that she was talking about. Another person to cover for her hussy ways?"

"Hmm... You're right about me being her sister." Yeona answers making Hari's eyes widened. "But you're wrong about her being a hussy. Please apologize to her and search for your cheating boyfriend."

"Wh- Apologize? I've done nothing wrong! This bit-"

"Do not finish that sentence." Yeona warns her with a look that scares the woman. "Apologize now or you will be hearing from my lawyer."

"Yah! How dare you! Who do you think you are?!"

The woman raises her hand ready to slap Yeona but the latter remains unfazed. Hari and Tae Moo try to step in but Yeona quickly moves her arm out in front of them.

"I'll give you a piece of advice since you don't know who I am..." She slowly smiles. "If you lay a hand on me, it could lead to the end of your career. You're a fashion designer, right? I thought you looked familiar. Do you really think that it's a good idea for you to resort to violence?"

Her words cause a chill to go down the woman's spine and makes her hesitate. Then all of a sudden, someone grabs her wrist and lowers it. The ladies except Tae Moo are surprised by Sung Hoon's sudden arrival.

"Huh?" Yeona blinks and smiles. "It's you!"

Sung Hoon gives her a smile and nod before turning back to the woman with a serious look.

"Please stop this and be reasonable. She's not the woman that you're looking for." He says before bowing his head.

The woman remains silent and soon realizes the people around them are talking about her. She glares at the group once more and just before she can leave, Yeona steps in front of her and leans in towards her ear.

"I would say that it was nice meeting you but it wasn't. You should look up the name Jin Yeona so that way if we ever meet again, you'll be better prepared. Let's try to get along then, okay? Oh and please apologize to my unnie before you go." She whispers and takes a step back, giving her another smile.

The woman tries to act unfazed but deep down feels terrified. She quickly apologizes to Hari and takes her leave, surprising the men except Hari. 

The eldest girl takes the time to quickly wraps her arms around her best friend.

"You're a lifesaver but I still need your help! Right now, I need to get out of here. And please do not say my name. I'll explain everything tomorrow." Hari whispers, confusing Yeona. "Just please go along with it."

Hari pulls away from the hug and pinches her best friend's cheek.

"My baby sister is always there for me! Thanks for having my back again! Have I told you how much I love you?" Hari says grinning making Yeona smack her hand.

"No, you haven't, unnie. But I'm sure that I love you more." Yeona replies before leaning towards her ear to whisper, "Don't tell Young Seo about me being involved. I'm assuming she has something to do with this."

Hari awkwardly laughs and looks away from Yeona. "Well, I must be going now. I'll see you at home, okay?"

Before Tae Moo can stop her, she hurries outside and gets into a cab. Yeona then smiles at the men, making one of their hearts flutter.

"Thank you for protecting my unnie. I greatly appreciate it." She puts out her hand towards Tae Moo which he accepts.

"As her date, how could I not come to her defense? I'm Kang Tae Moo." He replies, shaking her hand.

"I'm-"

"Yeona!" The group looks to see Hari standing at the entrance. "I'll have fried chicken ready for you tomorrow! Love you!"

Hari leaves once again making Yeona laugh and Tae Moo amused. However only Sung Hoon stands there, staring at Yeona with a shocked expression.

"...Yeona?" He speaks, catching her attention.

"Yes. I'm Jin Yeona." She replies with her sweet smile. "I didn't expect us to meet again so soon. I would treat you to something right now, but I need to get back to my interview. So could I give you my number instead?"

He continues staring at her, not giving her a response.

"Excuse him. I think he's just tired from all our work from today." Tae Moo steps in and takes Sung Hoon's phone, giving it to her. "He's Cha Sung Hoon."

"I see. Please do take better care of yourself." Yeona says in a concerned tone. She takes the phone and puts her number in. "You can contact me tomorrow and let me know where we can meet. Thank you again."

Sung Hoon nods, taking his phone back as she hands it back to him. She gives them a bow and another sweet smile before taking her leave.

"...Yeona." Sung Hoon murmurs looking at her name and number. He slowly looks back at her as she walks away from them.

"I-I'm scared."

"Yeona, don't worry. I'm here. I'll protect you."

"...Is it you? Did I finally find you?"

During the night, Young Seo goes to check on her younger sister's room to find her already asleep. She smiles and kisses her forehead before leaving. A few minutes later, Yeona begins sweating in her sleep and grasps her throat, mouth wide open as if she's trying to scream. Then suddenly she jolts up in bed, is in a cold sweat, is gasping for breath and sheds a tear.

Bonus Scene

"Just a couple questions left. You were inspired to become an actress because of the Nation's Sweetheart and one of the most successful actresses, Nam Hana. What was it about her that made you want to follow in her footsteps?"

"Yes. Nam Hana captured a lot of hearts, didn't she?" Yeona smiles as she interlocks her fingers. "...When I was a child, I had a really bad nightmare. The next thing I knew, Winter Heart was on the screen and... She saved my life."

"Winter Heart. One of her most nostalgic series." The interview says, nodding.

"A story where a young girl was abandoned by her family and was then saved by a young boy. But things happened where they were forced to separate. Many years later, she reunited not only with her former family but also that boy... And he would protect her from her painful past and anyone or anything that would dare to hurt her." Yeona speaks with a thoughtful expression. "Because of that show, I became her biggest fan."

"And you got the chance to meet Nam Hana as well as her family, correct?"

"Yes. Not only did I get to meet my role model but also Lim Soo-ho. I became a fan of him as well because of his hit song Snowdrop. I can still remember hearing it for the first time... When I was dealing a loss in my family, that song came to my rescue. Lim Soo-ho helped me during those tough times as well. Four years ago, they heard about me and I was invited to her eldest son's movie premiere. I still remember how much I cried meeting them."

"It must have been such a huge honor getting to meet one of the biggest actresses and musicians of this nation. Also still the hottest couple since they're debuts... Is there special someone for you at the moment?"

Yeona laughs. "Not yet. But maybe someday. For now... Soona will just have to continue being our favorite couple."

Yeona is sweet, elegant... and kinda savage, isn't she?😂

Now if you have watched the show, you may have noticed I moved some scenes around. Meeting Sung Hoon was supposed to happen around the end of the episode but here I changed it. I always planned for Yeona to defend Hari from the woman throwing accusations at her so I wanted him to briefly meet her before that.

What did you think of their first meeting? I guess it was only love at first sight for our other best boy...

I'm so excited because Young Seo and Tae Moo are ready to be co-captains of this ship! Gramps will also be ready to hop on board!

It seems Sung Hoon knows Yeona... But how? Only I know! Hehe...

Yeona is my next smol bean but her story is a little darker than Hana's. She's gone through some things.

And how was the Soona mention this chapter? Like ya'll know what Snowdrop is. And Winter Heart was kinda inspired by Autumn in My Heart. Watched it a couple years ago but never finished it because I knew where it was heading. But it's an old classic and started the second lead syndrome in kdramas. I miss Won Bin!😭
