Chapter 23

"I'm going to kill you..."
I stared at Emma as she ran off into the dark, twisted woods. It was funny...as if I was going to let that pipsqueak put a finger on me. She had no idea who I really was, what I've done or what I am capable of.

"Well. Someone's pissed at you." Came a familiar, raspy voice from behind me. I turned around to be eye-to-eye with my "twin".
"I'm not scared of her. I don't need 'our mother' to protect me either."
Jessie rolled her eyes at me.
"She's not protecting you. She's just making sure you don't die."
"That's...the same thing."
Jessie shook her head. A cracking noise came from her neck as if she had a small bag of rocks in her neck.
"Look what she did to me when she found out we let you off the hook after our last encounter."
Jessie lifted up her mask so that the bottom half of her face was noticeable. I stared at the moldy, watered out skin on her a face, her teeth were crooked and some were missing. The worst thing noticeable on her face was a large gash in her cheek; so large and deep, that you could see her raw cheekbone, her top and bottom teeth, along with the pink gums that held her teeth. I stared at the dark red injury. It looked like she had a large tear drop just carved out in her right cheek.
"Mother wanted us to take you to her. You disobey mother, you make mother mad."
The walking, talking, dead girl lowered her mask and adjusted it.
"You do not want to make mother mad..."
A long silence went between us. All I could think about was, how did I get myself in this mess? I ran away to avoid this, to be on my own. Now, I was standing in front of this...Jason Voorhees wannabe. How was I supposed to trust this girl? Was she working with Chucky?
I took a glance at Jessie. No, Chucky worked alone...if he wanted someone dead, he would do it himself. I knew my uncle...I knew him as if he were my own fath-
"Madison! Get down!"
Jessie threw a hammer at my direction. I ducked down as quickly as I could. I knew I couldn't trust this bitch!
I took out my knife and ran at Jessie, anger instantly taking over me. As I pounced at Jessie, ready to tackle her, she stepped to the side, sending me straight into the cold dirt, my face hitting a tree root.
I cursed loudly and threw my hand over the empty socket which was once an eye.
I heard someone laugh, but it wasn't Jessie...it was-
"Surprise, dollface!" Cackled Cbucky as he jumped onto me. I was about to punch the possessed doll off of me when I felt two pairs of small, plastic hands grab onto my wrists and hold me down; the same with my feet.
I looked around, and then I realized...
There were five clones of Chucky surrounding me.
Another batch, maybe seven of them, were attacking Jessie. One was on her shoulders pulling her shirt, thin hair, another was clinging onto her leg, stabbing her calf nonstop, while her other leg held two more dolls as they stared up at her, taunting her.
We both fought against the dolls, but whatever we did, if one went down, two more would come in.
Pretty soon, we were surrounded by dozens and dozens of Chucky dolls, all wanting one thing.
Blood. My blood.

Hiya guys! Sorry this took so long to get out! I haven't really been inspired to keep writing this story. That spark just died I guess. I'm thinking of adding just a couple more chapters and then finishing it off? I don't know, it all depends on where the story goes. I'm actually thinking about writing a prequel to straighten up Madison's background story.
Well, as always, stay strong and fight on, warriors.
