That morning as you woke up your face looked pale. Your throat became sore and you started coughing.  You knew you had to meet up with the gang and your boyfriend for something important so you did it anyways.

Squints: y/n? You don't look so good.

You: I'm fine!

Benny: No y/n. Your not fine.

Squints placed a hand on your forehead.

Squints: Jeez baby your head feels like it's been out in the hot sun!

You: I'm fine bubby I promise.

Smalls: No your sick admit it y/n!

You: I'm not sick! *coughs.*

Squints: alright I'm taking you to my place and taking care of you!

Benny: but won't you get sick too squints?

Squints: nah it's cool I got this!

As Benny helped you on squints back on his bike, squints pedaled your over to his place to take care of you for the rest of the day.

Squints lied you down on the couch and placing a cool damp washcloth on your forehead.

You:*coughs.*

Squints: awww my poor baby.

You: are you going to get sick too?

Squints. Nahh I'm in perfect health. *gets out a thermometer.* okay babe open wide?

You opened your mouth as squints placed the thermometer underneath your tongue after a minute was your he took the thermometer out.

Squints: Dang baby you have a fever.
He gets out the bottle of liquid medicine.

Squints: here take this y/n it will make you feel better.

You didn't want to at first but noticing how concerned he is about you;  you thought it was cute so you took the yucky medicine anyways.

Squints: sorry your sick baby girl. 

You: Nah it's okay just thank you for being so good to me!

Squints. Anytime y/n.

Through out the rest of the day squints became your local care taker taking care of you after when you felt better enough. The plan was to get the ball even though squints wants to keep you out of it you know and to protect your cousin making sure if he was safe too. And by the way, Benny ungrounded you too.

Ham: Benny! You don't have to do this!

Benny: yeah I do I gotta do it!

You:  cuz wait! I'm going too!

Benny: No y/n! You got in trouble once I don't want you to get in trouble again.

You: okay fine be careful cuz.

Benny got out his secret weapon! A kid that can make him jump faster and higher than ever before.  After many runs from the beast Benny told the gang to meet him at the sandlot they all did met him there but the moment he got there the beast kept chasing him.

You: GO! GOGOGOGO!

As the beast charges at Benny, he jumped over knocking you out and  leaped over the fence.

Squints: Y/n!
