Nichole's POV

"Why are you taking this out on me?" I pulled her by her hand to stop her. "You know that he doesn't give a shit about you anyway!" And that's when I felt a sharp sting on my cheeks. She slapped me.

"How dare you!" I screamed as I ponced on her. And that's how it turned out to be me on top of her, pulling each others hair, swearing at each other and screaming at the top of our lungs.

And that's when someone screamed in our ears, "STOP!" I didn't know who she was, probably someone from the uni. Her shiny, glittery clothes were dishevelled, her hair was all over the place, she was bare foot her heels in her hands. Her mascara ran down her face and her eyes look teary. "Stop fighting like spoilt brats over a guy! I know he has treated you both like shit as he does to every girl. I've had enough! I want revenge. You both, are you in or are you out?"

~ A Few Days Ago ~

Sunny's POV

"I challenge you. You keep on chasing after him, but he would still come back to me. Challenge accepted?" I said. "Are you chickening out of it? What a sissy!"

"Accepted. But if he's back to me, you'll leave him alone. Deal?" Said Nichole. "Or are you chickening-"

"Deal!"

"Good."

"Let's see who wins."

Roy is that popular guy in college. He has that typical player-fuckboy vibe, and he is your cliché hero from high school stories. You can strike it off the list as I say, football, parties, chicks, all of it. But the bottom line of it all is, this is not high school. So things are going to be different.

At first due to something horrible that he did to me, I hated his guts. But as they say love sometimes begins with hate. We dated for a year, but after that we have had an on and off relationship. But I know when I love someone, and I won't let this bitch come in between us. I swear, I will never lose to this bitch.

Nichole's POV

Who the hell does she think she is? I hate this girl. Even her name is weird, Sunny. I mean who in their right mind keeps that name for their daughter. Anyways, I have nothing against her parents; I just need to win against her and claim my guy, that's all. I will make sure to break that overconfidence of her. I mean, I get it she was Roy's girlfriend for the longest time; but that doesn't mean he would forever be in love with her.

After class I had a plan to meet Roy by his car and he would take me somewhere. He said it's a surprise and I'm excited.

As I approached the car, I saw him sucking faces with some chick. What the hell?

"What the hell, Roy? If you were going to make out with some random girl, why did you call me here?" I asked irritated.

"Oh! Hi Nichole. This is my good friend, Sunny." He replied with a smile. The fuck! Why didn't I notice this bitch before? "I'm sorry, there's this awesome new café that I discovered that day, and I wanted to take you there with me."

I melted at that. "Aw. Okay, let's go then." I said smiling.

"But Roy, I thought we were going out today?" Sunny-the-bitch pouted.

"Aww baby, don't be like that. You can come with us." Roy smiled. No she can't! "Right, baby?" He looked at me. First you decide who you wanna call baby, you jerk!

"But I wanted to take you to a special place, Roy. And I've already made reservations." Sunny spoke.

"Oh, really?" Roy asked and she nodded. "Can we take Nichole at least?"

Of course she would say no! "Of course, no problem." Wait, what? The hell is this girl planning now?

"Great, let's go."

Sunny's POV

Rather than fighting for the front seat, I chose to drive. Roy obviously chose shotgun, which leaves Nichole to the back. Sunny-1, Nichole-0. I smirked as we got out of the car.

When we reached our destination, "Hot air balloon?" Roy exclaimed. I nodded.

As we proceeded, a guy stopped us and said, "Sorry ma'am, it's for two people only."

"Oops!" I faked disappointment, "I'm so sorry Nichole. I'm sure you wouldn't mind waiting here for us. Let's go Roy." I said as I dragged him by his hand.

I looked back just in time to throw a wink and a nasty smirk back at Nichole. And the score says... 2-0. I'm winning!
