Witches and Castles
"considering we are now on the run from people who know who we are, or used to be, Farrah and her coworkers cheated the system, giving us new names, and such." April tells me, pulling out her wallet showing me her ID card.
And sure enough, it said Autumn White. It looks so authentic, I couldn't believe it. Her picture and everything, it looks one hundred percent real.
"Holy crap." I mutter, grabbing out my small bag and looking at my new ID card.
"Eliza Hunter?" I question looking at my new name. "Who the hell came up with that?" I put my ID back into my bag as we continue to walk to the bust stop.
"I assume that Farrah did."
"Well, at least she didn't call me Georgia, I mean could you imagine? Georgia Hunter? It sounds so weird." I mumble as April and I sit down, waiting for he bus to arrive.
She pushes the long blonde hair out of her face, so she can look at the fine details of her own ID card. "Elle, it say here you were born in Australia."
I raise my eyebrows, "wow really? Where my accent then? G'day mate." I try my best at giving an Australian accent on the last part, which by the way, was pretty good, even if I do say so myself.
A small chuckle escaped April's lips, bringing a smile to my own.
Lately, I feel like it's harder to get her to smile, you know? I'm finding it harder to have a good reason to smile myself. After losing Tommy, something broke inside me. I never knew that I could get so attached to someone so quickly and let them have that effect on me.
It's like what OUAT love is weakness sand all that. But come to think of it, it's also strength...sooo, lets throw that part out the window.
"Do you know where to catch the bus to? I mean, this place is huge."
I say indicating to the map behind us of all the areas in Isabela. There were so many, I mean looking at it, there has to be thirty or more smaller areas in the place. I'm going to assume they were other cities and their boundaries.
"Honestly, I have no idea. But let's just get into the city, and work it out from there." April tells me, looking over map, eyes darting from city to city.
"Well, here's a bus. Fingers crossed that it takes us into the city." The two of us hail the bus and get on, paying the driver and we go.
...
April P.O.V.
In all honesty, I really didn't have any idea of where to look. Elle was right, there was so many sub sections of Isabela, it was like looking for a needle in a haystack.
It's the middle of the day, and had been a few hours since we had gotten off the bus. I really had no idea of where to search.
Elle decided that we needed a place to stay, ready for the night so she found a few brochures and found this place, called 'The Maleficent'.
The place was honestly pretty, but kinda dark. Majority of the decor was black, purple and silver, kinda giving that creepy, elegant look.
April was in the room first, dropping her bag on the foot of the bed, I do the same before heading over to the window, and pulling back the heavy, deep purple curtains.
We were on floor 17, the second highest floor available, which was pretty cool, considering this place looks a lot like a vampires castle on the outside.
"This place is pretty cool," I say looking out the windows, which open outward, "kinda reminds be of a Disney movie. What do you think?"
April didn't reply, and stayed silent, so I just thought she don't hear me. I spoke again, this time looking back over my shoulder to see my friend, "April?"
A large thump from behind me caused me to turn around faster, allowing me to see my friend sprawled out, collapsed on the floor.
