The brunette glared up at the blonde boy, but her eyes widened when she was able to spot a group of guards walking past, scanning every tree, rock and shrub for a sign of the two.

Now, this was Ambers' speciality. She broke out of the older boys grip and ran her fingers through the air, manipulating the colours that she could see, before touching both herself and Ken on the leg, giving them the ultimate camouflage.

Ken could see the outline of himself, but it looked like his usually pale skin looked like it had been pained over to match the surrounding scenery, but it looked completely real and would change if he moved.

"That's amazing." He whispered but she whacked him upside the head, forcing him to shut up. Although they can't be seen, they could definitely be heard.

Elle P.O.V

...

A sharp pain in my head appeared for almost a split second, before disappearing. I los myself, forgetting everything in the room, and my surroundings in general. But then it all returned. "What the hell was that?" I mumble, looking in the mirror.

April looked over to me slightly confused, "What was what?"

"I don't know," I say shoving something quickly into my bag. "It felt like something just went into my brain, and quickly pulled something out."

She nods to herself, thinking it over, "What? Like a memory?"

I furrow my eyebrows, "No, I still remember everything. Well as far as I know."

She chuckles, "Like Tommy?"

I roll my eyes at her little taunt, "Yeah, I can still remember him. Sometimes I don't really want to though..." My eyes trace over the small coin in the envelope, "But, it makes me who I am. I don't even know why I still have this." I say, shoving it back into my bag. I could notice April spying it off in my peripheral vision, so I reassured her, "Pain is what makes you who you are. I'm not losing mine."

Her smile tells me that that was what she wanted to hear.

Bang bang bang.

That was someone banging on the door. "This is security! Open up!!"

Our first reaction was to get down, crouching to the ground. My eyes widen at April who only gives me a shrug in response. How the hell are security here? Did they follow us all the way from the airport? Well, technically me but...oh my god.

I grabbed the bag off my bed, and April did the same before I grabbed her hand. And you know the drill. We both disappear from everyone's sight, just as they begin to bang down the door. Quite literally, they broke the door down.

It a crash it came down, revealing a bunch of men and women holding guns, accompanied by the hotel manager and two sniffer dogs.

They poured into the room, pointing their guns around everywhere, passing through April and I as we began to walk past. It gave made my stomach drop, with fear and relief every time their arm phased through me, as we slowly made our way towards the door.

But, that was where the dogs were sat.

As we approached them, they began to growl, revealing sharp, yellow tinted teeth. I turn my head back to April, who seems just as shocked as I was. So we continued to step cutiously. Anyone in that room turned their heads to the dogs.

Panic filled me as they jumped at us, not actually being able to reach us in this form though. "they can't hear us!" I say to April as the dogs follow us down the hallway.

Realisation suddenly filled Aprils face, "but they can smell us." At the point, we took off sprinting down the many, many flights of stairs.

I looked back over my shoulder as the dogs backed again, and began to chase us down the stairs, and onto the street.
