"What did you do?!" Ken shouted as sirens began to wail over the sound of his voice.

Amber panicked and quickly shrugged her shoulders, "I don't know! I thought I pressed the same button!" She said hastily pushing the other button.

"Well you obviously didn't!" He argued, earning a glare from the girl.

"You're such an asshole!"

She quickly pulled the leaver and he rushed out and down the hall way, with Amber following close by his side.

But, in that one moment, a human wall blocked the exit. A line of guards with guns and shields stood before them, all ready to fire at the two escapees.

"Well sh-," Amber was going to say, but Ken cut her off.

"I've got this." He stepped forward, as a means of keeping her back, as his hands tighten into balls as well as the rest of his body, all tensing, as if ready for great pain.

His eyes sparked blue, quite literally. Light blue sparks formed from his eyes, and Ambers own green ones sparked in curiosity and shock. (puns intended)

It was all so quick, but everything turned blue and electric. His entire body turned blue, with a lighter colour around his hair.

"Holy crap..." She mumbled as he was able to float off the ground and went flying around the room, before disappearing into the closest guard's gun. Amber stood there in awe, as electricity began to flow through that gun, and to the other one, sparking a simultaneous explosion.

You see, those guns were special types of guns, designed to stun Evo's even those who are very resilient, and no matter what powers an Evo may possess.

Amber kinda sat back and watched in pure bewilderment as Ken began to electrify those guards, and she kind of hoped they were just unconscious, but then again, these were the ones who took her from her little sister, tortured her, and taunted her. She would be lying if she said she didn't feel any pleasure from this.

Once all those guards were sprawled across the ground unconscious, or so she hoped, she felt bad that she could do nothing to help. She couldn't do anything long range to help out. All she could do was take colour and put it somewhere else through physical contact.

Ken turned back into his physical form, smirking over his shoulder like a child looking proud of what he had done.

Amber doesn't care and gives him a shove in the back, moving him forward. "Come on," She urges as the two break out into a run. The steel of the floor sent a chill up her spine through her bare feet.

They didn't provide them with any clothes that could help them hide. A bright white tank top and white shorts for her, whereas Ken was left with a white singlet and long white track suit pants.

"Do you even know where you're going?" Ken shouted to the female, who just shrugged her shoulders quickly.

"Probably a better idea than you." She snapped.

Ken wanted to retaliate, but Amber quickly stopped running, and turned towards a door, with a sign reading:

Exit

Ken raised his eyebrows sceptically, with thoughts going through his head, questioning the authenticity of the sign, but Amber didn't really care. She just went for it, barging through the door, with Ken closely behind. She could see the greens and blues from outside of the window of the furthest door.

But there was something they weren't expecting. Another door came down, blocking the way back, and another one falling in front of them, blocking their escape out the front door. "Sh-," Amber was about to say, but there was such a high pitched noise that she could barely scream, let alone scream.

Both toppled over and covered their ears but it seemed Ken was able to be less sensitive to it. He saw the look in Ambers eyes before they snapped shut in pain, at it made him worry.

He looked around, hands covering his ears, before finally spotting the small, barely visible speaker in the corner. In one swift motion, he slammed his fist into wall, sending an electrical current crawling along the metal wall, making it's to the speaker, frying it in the process.

Amber sucked in a deep breath as the sound stopped, shakily looking to the now standing Ken, who helped her stand up, before placing his hands onto the doors, sending more electrical spark through the door making it open wide.

She seemed to get her strength when she barrelled herself towards the door, causing it to swing backwards with a massivethump.

Ken rushed forward, into the open area, grabbing Amber's wrist in the process, dragging her into the forest, almost out of breath. "Holy Sh –" Ken slapped his hand over er mouth, pulling her over to a nearby tree.
