It was the end of the night, and Y/N was walking back to their place with Josh. Shock and her brothers had already left ahead, so it was just the two. As they were walking the two talked about the rest of the clubs. The two had met for L.S.D. (Light Saber Dueling) and saw that they would have two instructors.

Apparently the two instructors always argued, but they both knew a lot about dueling, so Y/N and Josh were definitely going to enjoy that class. Y/N then talked about how he went to Magical Creatures 101 and met his instructor.

Honestly to Y/N the instructor seemed a little....Strange, but hey it wasn't nothing he couldn't handle. Josh then talked about how his instructors for Droid and Ship Building were actual Droids!

He then talked to Y/N about how he got a "back from the dead" kind of vibe from his music teacher.

Maybe it was just Josh, but who'd know. Josh then went on about his and Shock's time in Theater Troup and how they really like the guy in charge.

He then talked to Y/N about his and Shock's time in Force 101 and how apparently their instructor was an old green elf

For some reason, Josh felt like the little green guy was O.P. and not someone to mess with, so he'd probably have to keep his distance.

When they finally got back to their dorms, it was already going to be sundown.

Josh: So Y/N ol buddy ol pal, what are your plans for tonight?

Y/N: What are you talking about, aren't we just gonna stay inside?

Josh: *deadpan stare* Dude....this isn't The Isle Man. There's so much more to see and do here! Heck tonight I'm taking Shock into the woods to Country Bear Hall. Apparently a lot of good musicians go there, and I heard that The Country Bears are playing.

Y/N: Who?

Josh: *shocked* Come on man! The Country Bears! They were one of the few bands that I listened on that old record player we found.  Here!

Josh then had what looked like a portable Record Player and set in a record. As it started to play a song from the Country Bears was now playing.

A/N: Honestly, that was one of my favorite movies to watch growing up. Highly recommend it.

Josh: I get it if you're not into Country, but they're pretty good. But listen man....I get it that you're still trying to adjust to all of this and all. But you gotta remember, you gotta start to mingle with other folks. Not all of them are assholes and who knows ya might just make some new friends tonight, or even maybe get a girl *wiggles his eyebrows*.

Y/N merely rolled his eyes and smiled at his best friend. He knew what Josh said was right, but he still didn't know who he could or couldn't trust here. Later as Josh and Shock left, Y/N looked outside for a little bit and just started to think about their time here so far.

As he thought and thought he didn't realize he was heading into the town. As he kept walking and thinking, he heard a scream come from an alleyway. When he got there, he saw the girl that had her head decked out in candy, with the teal hoodie now on the ground with her back against the wall as three thugs were closing in on her. Not letting things escalate Y/N decided to step in.

Y/N: Hey!

All of the sudden the three thugs pulled out guns and spotted Y/N. As they looked at him, they each creepily smiled.

Shenzi: Well, well, well, looks like somebody wants to step in, interrupt our "business" and try and be a hero~.

Banzi: *smirks* Heh, we don't kindly to those who want to be the good guy.

Ed: *creepily chuckles*

Y/N: *sighs* I'm just gonna say this once....back off...and leave.

Shenzi: "Oh, were so scared" *laughs*

As the three thugs laughed, Y/N rolled his eyes and started to just walk up to them. That caught their attention as they noticed that Y/N wasn't afraid of them. As they aimed their guns at Y/N he just kept walking up to them with a look that meant he was serious. So the three thugs just decided to end it already and shot him

Bang!

They started to smile....only to loose it as they saw Y/N still standing. It was if the bullet hadn't even scratched him. They started to panic and kept shooting at him. Even though they all shot at Y/N he was merely still walking up to them. They stopped shooting at him only when they all ran out of bullets, and by that time Y/N was standing right in front of them.

Y/N:........Boo.

That scared the three thugs and they hightailed it out of there. As Y/N made sure that they left, he looked down and saw the girl there looking at him as if he was a ghost.

Venelope: No way....you should be dead! How did you take all those bullets?!

Y/N:....Well...when you're part Gargoyle, your skin becomes tough as stone, the bullets just bounced off.

Venelope: That...is....Awesome!

Y/N: Well seeing that you're good, I'll get out of your hair.

Y/N started to leave having had enough "socializing" for one night, but as he left the girl got up and went to him.

Venelope: Wait! Hold up! What are you doing out here?

Y/N:....I was just walking by.

Venelope: So you got a place to crash then huh.

Y/N:.....Uh... yeah.

Venelope: Well, I know this is gonna sound a little weird and probably straight forward, but would ya mind if I went with you...to your place?

Y/N: *raises an eyebrow*

Venelope: Nothing weird or nothing! I just.....*sighs* I don't got no where to stay alright? I made my own place at a junk yard, but apparently the guy who owned it sent his three dumb goons after me and that's how I ended up here. So if it ain't too much can I shack up with ya. J-Just for tonight please I don't want to be in the cold again, I-

Y/N stopped the chatter box by picking her up and putting her on his shoulder. He realized that while he was tall at 6ft, the girl was barely 4ft9.  He just carried her and let her sit on his shoulder while he walked back to the dorms.

Venelope: So...is that a yes?

Y/N: You talk too much ya know that?

Venelope: You talk to little you know that?

Y/N: I prefer silence.

Venelope: Yeah, well I prefer talking till my ears fall off.

Y/N: The way you're going right now, mine just might.

Venelope: You know....did anyone ever tell ya you look cute up close?

That made Y/N instantly break out in a blush.

Venelope: Aww, the bug strong guy turned into the kool-aid man~.

Y/N: Tsc, w-whatever.

Thankfully they had just reached the dorms again.

Venelope: Huh, so this is where you stay huh. Not gonna lie, it looks good. Oh, the names Venelope by the way. Venelope Von Schweets.

Y/N:.....Y/N.

Venelope: *giggles* You don't talk much do ya Y/N?

Y/N: I'm not really....social with new people.

Venelope: Can't trust anyone ya barely met right?

Y/N: *nods*

Venelope: I feel ya. But you know what?

Y/N:...What?

Venelope: I trust ya.

Y/N: *surprised* B-But we just met?!

Venelope: *giggles* I know~.

Y/N felt like this girl was just teasing him...and yet he felt that she was actually telling the truth. Y/N led her inside and told her that she could stay with him tonight, and that the next day he'd clean up one of the empty dorm rooms and she could stay there from now on. That made Venelope jump on him and hug him while saying 'Thank You' over and over and over. When night came, Y/N let Venelope have his bed while he slept on a couch now that he had Josh extend his room as well. Yet when Y/N fell asleep, Venelope snuck out of bed and found him on the couch....and without another word she carefully somehow got on top of him...and snuggled on his chest and began to sleep with a smile on her face.

Meanwhile Somewhere dark, damp, and hidden

Shenzi: We're telling ya Boss, we had the brat in our grasp and all of a sudden this hunk of a guy came out of no where!

Banzi: Yeah we shot him up and everything, but the guy just took it like a champ! *looks at Shenzi* Wait did you call him a hunk?

Ed: *making random noises*

???: Silence!

That made the three thugs shut up quick. As they saw their boss, he was at his desk in deep thought while swinging a mouse back and forth.

???: This..."Guy" did you get any details of what he looked like.

Banzi: Besides his red eyes, pale skin, and pointy ears not much.

???: Hmm....and you said the bullets didn't harm him?

Shenzi: Yeah, do you know the guy Boss?

???: You three are free to go.

That made them shocked, but they weren't gonna ask twice about it.

As the three thugs left, the boss actually smiled and chuckled.

???: It seems I wasn't the only one off that ghastly island. *chuckles* Be prepared boy.....It seems Fate wants us to meet again....
