Chapter 3

"Please join us!" He said. I huffed at his words. Why is he so persistent on getting me to join them? Can't he see that I'm not interested. Oh goodness... what did I get myself into?
-I Had Enough-
Y/N P.O.V
It's been weeks since I've joined their group. Apparently, they are called Shishitoren. I didn't want to join. But the Choji guy keeps pestering me and wouldn't stop until I say okay. Which is why, I'm stuck with this group.
I thought this group would be decent. But turns out I was wrong. They think power is above everything and that the weak have no rights. It irked me to know they think that way. Instead of protecting the weak, they all trample over them.
I lean my back against the wall. I watch as Choji jumps down from our base's building. He kicks a man right on the stomach just because he returned after getting beaten to a pulp. I close my eyes as I let out a sigh. I honestly do not know why I agree to join this group in the first place. I push myself off the wall. I turn around and was about to walk away.
"Oi, Y/N!" Choji's voice reaches my ears. I turn to look at him. "Where do you think you're going? You know this is the most important part to make sure that we only welcome the strong!" He said. He points at the guy who lays on the ground weakly after getting a beating from him.
"I'll give you the honor this time. Why don't you take off his jacket? A guy like him clearly doesn't belong to our group" he said. His eyes devoid of emotions. The boy on the ground turn his head to look at me. His eyes wide in horror as he seems to be begging at me.
"I've told you a million times, Choji! I don't wanna get involved in your stupid game! If you think you could just step on people because you're so strong, then... I don't wanna be a part of that!" I yelled. His eyes widen at what I said. I roll my eyes in annoyance and walks away, without hearing anything else he has to say.
I've honestly have had enough with the way he thinks he's above us all. He's not even a king for God's sake! He's just an ordinary people like us. Just who does he think he is??

I visit Yuri-San's shop. She smiles brightly when she sees me. I smile softly at her as I approach closer. "Yuri-San. I don't know how to say this but..." I said. I fiddle with my fingers. Her face changes to concern as she stares at me. "I'm sorry but I can't live with you anymore. I got involved in a group of selfish people... I don't wanna be a part of that anymore. So I want to move away. Don't worry, it's not far from here. It's just the Makochi. I'd like to keep my distance from these people" I said.
"I understand, sweetie. I hope you'd find a group where you truly belong to" she said. I smile softly at her. She walks around the counter and stands in front of me. She lift her hands, placing them on my shoulders. "But since it's not too far. Will you come and visit me? Every now and then?" She said.
"Of course..." I said, nodding my head lightly. She smiles happily at me. She pulls me into a hug. "Thank you for everything, Yuri-San..." I said. She gently run her hand through my hair.
"I actually have an acquaintance there at Makochi. If you want, I can contact her so she can help you find a place to stay" she said, after pulling away. I blink my eyes at what she said. "She's actually around your age... and her name is Tachibana Kotoha" she said.
"Tachibana Kotoha?" I said. She smiles and nods her head. "But wouldn't she mind? I don't wanna be a bother to her" I said. She lift her hand, gently ruffling my hair.
"You won't be..." she said, shaking her head. I just stare at her with a look of uncertainty. "I'm sure she'd be more than happy to get to know such a sweet girl like you, Y/N..." she said. She looks sad that I've decided to leave.
"Don't be sad, Yuri-San... I'm only at the neighboring town. I'm not too far away. I'll come and visit every now and then. I've promised you that I will, right?" I said. She gently wipe a tear from her cheek, and nods her head. She pulls me into another hug. I place my chin on her shoulder as I hug her back.
"You're such a dear person to me, Y/N. I'm gonna feel lonely without you" she said. I just smile sadly as I rub her back. She pulls away and cups my cheek. She place a soft kiss on my forehead.
"I'll miss you, Yuri-San..." I said, smiling at her. She just smiles back. I give her another quick hug. She gave me a light squeeze before we pull away completely from each other. "Take care" I said.
"You too, honey..." she said. I nod my head. I turn my body around and walks out of the bakery shop. I turn to look at the shop over my shoulder for a few seconds. I let out a sigh and look forward. I start to make my way towards the house I've been living in with Yuri-San. I need to get my stuff before finally leaving this place.
Time-skip
I just walk towards the town of Makochi. Everyone here is much more livelier in the morning than my previous town. I wonder how I'd be able to find this Kotoha girl that Yumi-San had mentioned.
I look down at the piece of paper in my hand. It has the name of a cafe she was suppose to be at. Apparently, she's the one running the cafe on her own. But well, in this town is where my new life begins.
