Previously on Chapter 18

I know I can't promise him anything. But just for the sake of him feeling at ease, I just nod my head. I feel bad for worrying him, but what can I do. Fighting is a part of my life. No matter how hard I tried to get rid of it. I just couldn't erase it completely... it's a part of me.

Y/N P.O.V

"By the way, I already know that Tsuge-San is strong" Kiryu-San said. "But... Sakura-Kun and L/N-Chan are both really amazing we well" he said. Haruka's face turns red at his words. Tsugeura commented that it makes sense for Haruka to be strong, since he aimed to be the Top Dog.

"Well, I'm glad I know about it before choosing the class rep" Kiryu-San said. Haruka doesn't seem to know what a class rep is. "By the way, Sakura-Chan. Give me your contact info?" He said. Haruka gasp in shock at what he just said.

"Ah... that's right. You don't even have mine" I said, placing my hands on my hips. "That's not right, you know that?" I said. He turn his head to look at me. His cheeks are both so red.

He takes out his phone. "How do you do this?" He said, with his cheeks still red. I let out a soft giggle and move closer to stand by his side. I place my hand on his arm to lower it down gently, so I can look at his screen properly.

"Why's your face so red?" Kiryu-San said. He moves to stand on my other side. "Ah... you don't have the app, huh? Well, guess I'll just have to put in my number. But your girlfriend should be first" he said. I smile at what he said and turn my attention back to Haruka's phone. I open the contact app.

"Hmm... just one contact number? Eh... weather?" He said. I turn to look at Haruka as but my lips, trying not to laugh at him. Tsugeura-San, Kiryu-San and Nirei is a different though, all three of them bursts out laughing.

"I'll have to ask you for the weather next time, Sakura-Kun" Suo commented. I let out a soft giggle. Haruka turn to look at me with and start pouting. I cover my mouth as I try not to laugh again.

"Why are you all laughing?!" Haruka yelled out. I shake my head as I gently grab his hand. He turn his head to look at me. I lift my free hand, placing it on his head and gently ruffle his hair. His cheeks turns red at my action.

"You sure do get flustered easily, huh?" I said. He huffed and pulled me close, burying his face into the crook of my shoulder to hide the redness on his cheeks. "Awe... what a cutie~" I cooed, gently patting his head as I wrap my arms around him.

The sun has slowly beginning to set. The town is pretty much peaceful aside from the fight that happened a while ago. Aside from that, nothing really happened.

Haruka and I decided to take a stroll around the town, to enjoy the time as the day changes into night. "It's quite peaceful, don't you think?" I said, breaking the silence. I turn my head to look at Haruka as he held my hand. He lift our entwined hands, placing a soft kiss on the back of my hand.

"Everything is peaceful as long as you're near me..." he said. I feel my cheeks growing warm at what he said. "And you commented that I'm easy to get flustered... you are no different" he said, poking my cheek with his free hand. I pout at him. He leans over and places a soft kiss on my cheek. "I love you..." he said.

"I love you too, Haru-Chan..." I said. He smiles softly at what I said. He slowly leans down, closing the gap as he gently pressed his lips against mine. I smile into the kiss as I tilt my head. He wraps his arms around my waist. I wrap mine around his neck, pulling him closer as the kiss gets deeper.

"It's starting to get late... I should take you home" he said, with his forehead still leaning against mine. I smile softly at him and nod my head. He smiles at me. He pull away from the hug. His hand gently grabs mine as we continue our walk. Now heading to my house.

After a while of walking, we finally reach my house. I turn around to face Haruka. He has a sad look on his face. I frown at the sight. I lift my free hand as the other one is still being held by him.

"Haruka?" I said, as I gently cup his cheek and turn his head to look at me. He stares at me with his dual colored eyes. "What's wrong? Why do you look so sad?" I asked.

"I still wanna be around you, Y/N..." he said. My eyes soften at what he said. "I'm kinda sad that I have to part ways with you. I know it's silly, because we're gonna see each other tomorrow. But I just wanna be around you all the time" he said.

"You can stay the night here if you want..." I said, lifting my hand to gesture my house with my thumb. "It's not like you've never done it before..." I said.

"Really? I can stay here again?" He asked. I smile softly at him and nod my head. I gently pulls him inside the house, in which he seems happy to do so. The sight of his smile makes me feel happy.

"Before we go to bed. Do you wanna eat anything? We haven't had dinner" I said, turning my head to look at him as we walk towards the living room. He nods his head at what I asked. "Okay, what do you wanna eat? I'll cook it for you" I said.

"I'll eat whatever you cook" he said. I just smile at what he said. I gently pull him towards the kitchen. I open the fridge as I stare at the items inside it.

"Does... pasta sounds good to you?" I asked, turning to look at him. He smiles and nods his head. "Okay! Pasta it is then..." I said, smiling. I turn to the fridge and grab the needed ingredients.

I walk towards the stove and starts to cook. I flinch out of fright when I feel a pair of arms snaking around my waist. I hear a soft chuckle as a chin is placed on my shoulder. I let out a sigh and turn to look at Haruka who just smiles innocently at me.

"Sorry for scaring you... but I just wanted to hold you in my arms" he said, apologetically. I just smiles at him. I turn my attention back to the stove and continue to cook the pasta. This time Haruka clinging on me like a koala.

A While Later

Haruka and I have finished our dinner. The two of us are now lying on my bed. Haruka let me use one of his arm as a pillow while the other one is holding me close. My head is rested on his chest as I listen to his heartbeat. His heart sounded so calm.

I feel his arm tighten around me, pulling me even closer until there's no gaps between us. I feel a soft kiss on the side of my head. "Thank you for letting me stay here..." he said. I pull away slightly to look at him. He moves his arm, lifting it to gently tuck my hair behind my ear. He smiles at me as he stares at me with an adoring gaze. He leans in, placing his lips against mine. I close my eyes as I kiss him back.

"Good night, Haruka..." I said, after we pull away from the kiss. I place my head on his chest again. The calming sound of his heartbeats slowly lured me to sleep.
