Peter wasn't usually fussy. It was rare and only happened when he needed a bottle or a diaper change, or if he was sleepy. But today was not a good day for Peter. Or Tony.

Tony was worried, he didn't know how to stop his kid from crying or whining. Some quick scans showed he wasn't sick, nothing of the sort, even Doctor Cho said his baby was perfectly healthy. So that left Tony wondering what was wrong.

"Maybe he wants something particular? Like his bear or spider?" Vision asked as he moved around the nursery trying to find one of the two. He heard Peter crying a while ago and decided to come help since Jarvis was away. They both stopped moving as Peter calmed to the sound of Vision. "Or perhaps he misses Jarvis?" The Android sounded amused.

Tony chuckled and sighed as he readjusted Peter in his arms. "Of course he misses J." A small knock interrupted them. Natasha stood at the door and for the first time, she looked worried.

"Is ребенок okay?" Tony smiled and nodded, handing Peter over to her. "What's wrong солнышко?" She murmured to him, carefully stroking his head. He curled further into her shoulder as she glanced up at Tony and Vision. "So what's making him so grumpy?"

Tony smirked as he watched her once again turn into the assassin everyone knows. "He misses Jarvis, it has been a couple of days without him and half the team." The genius gestured to the rocking chair for her to sit as he explained.

"I'll call him, maybe Pete will cheer up at hearing him." Tony grabbed his phone as Natasha took a seat and kept playing with Peter. The kid looked up at her with big brown eyes, making her melt. "Hey J," Tony spoke as he made the screen bigger, casting a hologram in front of them.

"Hello, Sir. Everything alright back at home?" The android tilted his head, glancing around Tony for any differences. Peter turned away from Natasha to face the comforting and familiar voice.

"Yeah. Turns out Petey-pie misses you." The android huffed out a laugh and smiled. "Don't be too flattered, I'm sure he missed the rest of the team as well."

"We miss him too!" Clint yelled in the background before showing up on the screen, grinning at the sight of Peter. Cap's face also leaned into frame and even he smiled at seeing the kid. "Good to know we are being missed." Clint continued, chuckling at Natasha's glare.

"Hi, Pete." Steve waved to get the baby's attention, causing him to burst into giggles and reach out to the screen. All three on-screen smiled at the reaction. Natasha moved closer to the screen, which only made Peter want to grab Jarvis who appeared closer than the other two.

"Hello, Peter." Peter gurgled out a response, giving the android a wide toothless smile. "How have you been?" another giggle escaped the child as he tried once more to get to Jarvis. "I'm sorry Pete, you have to wait till tonight for a hug." Peter only babbled and kept his arms out to the android, who looked over at Tony. Tony was fondly looking at both of them and snickered when he met his assistance's eyes.

"Alright kiddo, let's let them finish the mission so you can get your hug sooner." Jarvis smiled and nodded. Peter pouted as he was taken away from the screen. "Say bye Pete." He waved Peter's tiny arm, making the boy grin.

"Bye Peter!" all three yelled, causing Peter to laugh once more before the screen went black. At least Peter wasn't sad anymore.

And yes, he did get his hug.
