It's not that easy (Probably not a Oneshot)

Vincent is uke btw, I dunno why I like it that way I just do 19VincentPurpleGuy87

To say Vincent wasn't a normal child was an understatement.

Along with his natural purple hair and silver eyes, he also very well had light purple skin. It did, ya know, fit him and all, but it was still unusual. And to say he got picked on about it would also be an understatement.

The way he got bullied was, well, taken to a whole other level. There was the usual beating and name calling, but sometimes the occasional harassing and trying to kill him. Of course, this was mean. I mean, why try to kill someone just because of the way they look? It wasn't just because of the way he looked.

The way he acted, the way he separated himself from other people, the way he barely talked. The way he stared into space. Everything about him was just giving off a vibe that said "I'm gonna kill you when I'm older". And since most people base bullying off of fear, that was why.

Now that we're done with introductions about our adorable main character, let's get down to the nitty gritty shall we?

Vincent looked up at the school he went to as he slowly walked inside. He could kind of tell some kids were already starting to call out to him, but as he had his music blasting in his ear through his headphones, he couldn't hear them.

He walked over to his usual bench and sat, waiting for the bell to ring for first period to start. He slowly bobbed his head to the beat and looked around a bit curiously. Same kids in the same cliques, same kids in the same clubs, same kids in the same class, same bitches in the same school. It was always the same. So boring, he always thought it was boring. So, so boring.

He scoffed and turned back to his music. The only thing that ever really happened was his near death experiences that he had while getting beat up sometimes. They were quite exciting.

Once the bell rang he picked up his stuff from the bench and walked inside, past all the kids in groups and past all the teachers waiting for the children. Into his science class he went and there he would stay for the next hour or so.

Once inside, he plugged in his headphones and stared blankly at the board. He scanned the lessons and looked back down at his phone, not caring for what they had planned that day. After a few minutes of him listening to "My Nightmare" on repeat a few times, he felt a light tap on his shoulder. He looked up and stared into the eyes of a kid with stunning black hair and deep dark brown eyes.

They stared at each other for a while, until Vincent realized he was talking and paused his music to take out his headphones. "Could you repeat that?" He asked in a quiet, bored tone.

"Oh, sure," the kid said in a deep, smooth voice, forcing Vincent to suppress a shiver. "I said the teacher said we're partners, I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Scott."

"Oh.. hey. I'm uh..." Vincent stuttered, instantly forgetting his name. He gulped slowly, continuing to stare up at Scott. "V-Vin... um..."

"That's Vincent, it's best not to talk to him" One of the students spoke up.

"Yeah," said another, "he's a weirdo, he barely talks."

Scott looked over at them, then back at Vincent. "Hmm.." He then sat down beside him and began to work.

Vincent sighed and looked back down at his phone. He knew it, no one is different from the others. Always the same, always the same. It's not easy being different.

After class was over, Vincent began to pack up his things. Scott did as well. Before Vincent could walk away, Scott grabbed his arm, holding him back. He turned around to face Scott, confused.

"Hey," Scott started, "what class do you have next?"

Vincent was quiet for a while, trying to register the question. "Uhhh... I-I forgot" He stuttered. Scott chuckled softly, making Vincent shiver again.

Scott smiled softly at him, "I find that hard to believe."

Vincent felt a slight blush creep up his face, forcing him to look away a bit nervously. "Heh, I guess we'll just have to see then." He wrenched himself from Scott's grip an began to walk out of the classroom.

"I guess we will," Scott replied right before he left. Vincent speedwalked out the classroom, feeling himself blush more. He had been questioning himself before, but that whole scene made it a bit obvious about what exactly he was.

He sat in his next class awkwardly, not sure how to feel about what had just happened. It seemed kinda.. flirty, but it couldn't be, right? That whole thing with Scott was just... friendly. Yeah, friends chuckle with each other all the time, it was completely normal.

Still, realizing that made him smile a bit. Someone was actually being friendly with him for once. It seemed like no other person in the world had ever done that for him.

As Vincent walked home from school, he chewed on his piece of gum silently. The rest of the day had gone by normally, he hadn't seen Scott in any of his classes nor in his lunch so he figured Scott was just cross teaming for the class.

He sighed softly, blowing a small bubble and pulling it back into his mouth to pop it. It really was always the same, wasn't it? No one understood what it was like to be  different for once. The world never changed. All it did was change appearance, it never changed at the heart. There was still hate in the world, people still starved, people still got kidnapped abused and raped, animals still died. The world was a horrible place and no one understood that, all they did was add onto it all. No one ever changed. It was always the same...

The thought made him furrow his eyebrows, he knew he was right about it. Where there was love, there was bound to be hate. And where there is hate, rarely there is love.

~

Vincent walked into his house, not even bothering to announce his reappearance. No one cared in the house anyway, all they cared about was drugs and drinking. And dicks. Both of them.

He climbed the stairs to his room. He wasn't hungry, he was barely hungry. Eating seemed like a chore by now. If he had to eat every single thing his mom cooked for the family, he would puke up everything he ever ate. She was almost always high off SOMETHING when she cooked, making it a somewhat of a bitter, dull, or flat out disgusting meal. His dad was no better. No wonder the house was dirty most of the time. They were lucky to even have him.

He plugged in his headphones and drowned the day away in his sorrows for the future. In the middle of said sorrow, came the thought of Scott. Involuntarily, Vincent's face lit up a bit. He covered his cheeks with his hands, wondering what had come over him.

Sure, Scott was.. well hot but.. why think about him now? Even the thought of him thinking about him at a time like this was enough to send his cheeks into another fit of fire.

"You're being ridiculous Vincent," he said softly to himself. "You only just met him today, and he barely even said two things to you."

Still, that night Vincent couldn't help but drift off into a few fantasies about Scott.

~ (sorry if all the skips seem tedious, I'm not good with transitions...)

The next day at school, Vincent entered the same way. Sitting at his bench and silently listening to his music. Music seemed to be the only thing he did these days, besides maybe his homework occasionally, but nothing on top of that. Not in any clubs or doing any sports, no hobbies he took part in, just sitting in his room and listening to music, sometimes getting up to use the bathroom or eat a snack, but nothing on top of that.

Vincent by now had forgotten all the dreams he had about remeeting Scott that night, in fact he had forgotten about meeting Scott all together. The morning had been bland and dreary, just like any other morning, and Scott was no part of it. Until then that is.

Scott tapped Vincent lightly on the shoulder again, making him jump softly, then turn around to meet him. Scott smirked, "we have to stop meeting like this."

Vincent only softly nodded in response, "U-un.."

"You speak Japanese?" Scott tilted his head softly.

Vincent shook his head a bit, "No I just.. pick things up here and there, heh."

Scott then talked with Vincent about his day yesterday until the bell rang. When Vincent got up to get to his first class, Scott looped his arm around Vincent's and began to lead him there. Vincent couldn't help but blush, for what seemed like the millionth time that morning, and gulp softly. He had to stop doing this to himself, he had only known Scott for a day.

Then again, it's not that easy to keep away from love at first sight.

Welp, it's late, this story is not finished, and fuck it. I'm probably going to make a second chapter, or not, depends on how lazy I feel.. BUT YEAH, there you go, I hope it doesn't suck too much, Idek anymore I've never written PurplePhone until now, even though I think about it almost 12/7... Plez don't hate me Vincent-senpai Y^Y
