“Geek.” I heard Chad say under his breath as I have a frown on my face as he must’ve said it loud enough as both Evie and Ana glared at him.

I quickly got up without caring and I walked out of the class without another word, as I went to my locker, and I heard footsteps but I could just care less.

“Diz…” I heard a voice and I didn’t turn around as I have a couple of tears on my cheeks as I slowly sat down as I looked up and that’s when I saw both Evie and Ana. 

“It’s okay, Evie told me what happened.” Ana says as she brought me into her arms. There was another footsteps and all of us looked up and it was Chad and Audrey who both scoffed at seeing Ana and Evie.

“Awe she has people caring about her, she’s not a child, stop babying her.” Audrey says making Ana glare heavily at Audrey as did Evie.

“Leave us alone.” Evie says to Audrey  who grabbed her ice coffee and dumped it onto my backpack.

“Noo!” I say as I went to grab it but it was too late, as the coffee was already on it.

“Whoops.” Audrey says with a grin on her face as she and Chad walked away.

“Nice job, Audrey, she’s just a baby anyway. She needs to grow up.” Chad says as Ana went to go to them but Evie grabbed her by her arm and brought her back to the ground.

Not even a second later, the bell rang and everyone was walking out of their classes. Evie grabbed my backpack and grabbed her jacket not caring if it was going to be stained with coffee.

“But your jacket, it’s going to get stained.” I say as her jacket is absorbing the coffee as Evie gives me a small smile, as I just give her a sad smile.

“What happened?” A voice says making me and Ana look up and it was Carlos, Mal and Jay.

“Take wild guess and you’d be right.” Ana says with hate in her voice as it didn’t take Carlos, Mal and Jay too long to know who it was.

“You got to be kidding me, why would she pick on Iz. She’s just innocent.” Mal says as she grabbed some paper towels from her backpack and started helping Evie who was done trying to get most of the coffee off of my backpack.

“Because she's a jerk that’s what, oh and Chad was in on it too.” Evie says as most of the coffee was already started to stain my backpack, and it also started to smell like coffee too.

“I’m sorry about what happened?” Jay says as I gave him a sad smile as now my backpack needs to get cleaned.

“Thanks, I guess.” I say to him as I didn’t realize that I still had tears on my cheeks as Ana and Mal both wiped them from my cheeks.

“Here, how about this you can have my backpack, I don’t really use it anyway.” Jay says giving me his as I was confused but I took it anyway.

“O-Okay, t-thanks.” I say as he smiled a little bit knowing that his won’t be drenched with coffee.

“Well not everything got drenched, so that’s a good thing.” Mal says as I could tell that from her voice that everything is but she said that to make me feel better.

“But Mal isn’t ev--” Carlos says but Mal gives him a look and he took the hint and stopped talking which made me feel just a little better, but I tried to smile but it felt more painful than anything.

“I really appreciate it you guys.” I say as I try to sound somewhat better but it didn’t do much, as they all have given me sad smiles.

“Anytime Iz.” Mal says squeezing my shoulders a little as Ana brought me into her arms.

“Come on let’s go to class.” Jay says as we all went into our separate directions.

Later

Evie is walking with a huge smile on her face as she’s feeling giddy, as she passed her first test without cheating, and she walked towards Doug. When she got to Doug she put the paper in his face, and he smiled,  when he realized who it was.

“For the first time in my life. It’s like I’m more than just a pretty face.” Evie says as Doug smiles at the blue haired girl.

“Shocker huh?” Doug says to Evie and she smiles.

“I bet I can get an ‘A’ on the next test without the mirror.” Evie says as Doug smiles and nods his head.

“Yeah. Well if you want help studying. You know where to find me.” Doug says to Evie and he nods his head.

A frantic Charleigh comes running without her boots as she leaves them in her room as she’s been looking all over for Evie.

“I have been looking for you literally everywhere!” Charleigh says as Evie turns round and sees the blonde with narrowed eyes.

“Why, what’s wrong?” Evie asks Charleigh as the blonde catches her breath.

“Jayjustaskedmeoutonadate!” Charleigh says super fast and Doug just smiles as Evie has a huge smile on her face as she knew what was said.

“Nice.” Doug says to the blonde and she blushes as she turns back to Evie.

“We can handle this bye.” Evie says as she pulls Charleigh away and they start walking back to the blonde’s dorm, before making a little visit to Evie’s so she can grab her makeup and other things that she’ll need. Then they go to Charleigh’s room where Lonnie is taking a bath in the bathroom.

Dizzy is in Ana’s room as she’s working on her coronation dress as Ana is working on homework.

“I can’t believe he asked you out, Char.” Evie says to the blonde who just smiles at her.

“I know.” Charleigh says as Evie is doing a neutral look for her makeup knowing that Char doesn't wear that much makeup in the first place. 

“You know, before I could walk my mom taught me how to apply blush, and she would always say ‘use upward strokes’.” Evie says applying blush to Char’s cheeks.

“Yeah my mom said the same thing.” Char says smiling when she was about eight years old and Cinderella was teaching Charleigh how to use makeup.

“Yeah.” Evie says as she now applies a nude shade of blue eyeshadow to Char’s eyes.

“Are you afraid of her?” Char asks and Evie looks up at her confused about what she meant. “I mean are you afraid of your mom?” Char asks again and Evie nods her head slightly.

“Sometimes. I remember at one point when me and the others were kids, and we didn’t invite Mal to my sixth birthday party and I don’t think I’ve ever seen my mom so scared of Maleficent.” Evie tells Char and she nods her head listening to what Evie was saying.

Before long there was a knock on the door, and Evie walked to open the door and there was Jay smiling and he smiled even more when he caught a glimpse of Charleigh in a light blue dress, with a white pair of boots.

“Wow. You look amazing.” Jay compliments and she blushes a bright red, as no one said that to her before.

“Thank you.” Charleigh says to Jay and he nods his head he can stare into her bright blue eyes all day if he had the chance.

“I hope you like bikes?” Jay asks Charleigh as he holds up two red helmets and Evie smiles as she slightly pushes Charleigh out the door and she smiles.

“Tell me something about yourself?” Charleigh asks Jay and he smiles.

“Um…I don’t have a middle name.” Jay says as Charleigh smiles  little at him.

“Cool.” Char says to Jay.

“What’s yours?” Jay asks him as he doesn’t know what to say as this is his first time being on  date with a girl that he actually love's.

“Grace.” Char replies and Jay smiles at her and he nods his head.

“That sounds beautiful. Charleigh Grace Charming.” Jay says as Charleigh blushes at what Jay says.

“Thank you.” Charleigh says with her blush still visible on her cheeks.

“This is my first actual conversation with a girl in my entire life. Because on the island, I’d flirt with them but it wasn't anything, because no one wants to be near a thief because they’re afraid that thieves are going to steal everything that they own.” Jay says to Charleigh and she sorta feels bad for Jay as he doesn’t seem like that type to be a thief, she actually sees potential inside of him.

Like, he’s more than a villain, and someone that will do a good thing whenever he has the chance.

They walked to a kazabbo, and it has a picnic basket on the ground, and Char smiles at smelling the food. Ana and Dizzy helped set this up earlier.

“I hope you like it.” Jay says and Charleigh smiles at him Charleigh hands him a jelly donut.

“Is this your first time?” Charleigh asks Jay and he looks up at her confused.

“Mmm…We don’t really date much on the island. It’s more like…gang activity.” Jay says as he has a little bit of the jelly on his lip.

“Um, I meant, is this your first time eating a jelly donut?” Charleigh asks Jay.

“Is it bad?” Jay asks her and she shakes her head no at him.

“You got a…Just a…I…” They both lean forward and they both kiss each other, and Jay puts his hand on her cheek.

Seconds later the two break the kiss and the Jelly is gone from Jay’s lip.

“You can’t take me anywhere. I guess.” Jay says to Charleigh and she couldn’t help but smile at him.

“I’ve done all the talking. Your turn I really don’t know that much about you. Tell me something.” Charleigh asks Jay and he smiles at her, she’s not like any girl that he’s seen in his life.

“Well I’m 16. I have a younger sister. I’ve only ever lived in one place.” Jay says to her and she nods his head with a smile.

“Me too. We have so much in common already.” Charleigh says as Jay nods his head at her, as he doesn’t want to say that they actually don’t.

“I guess we do.” Jay says with a slight chuckle which makes Charleigh smile at him.

“I can look into your eyes and I can tell you’re not evil. I can see it.” Charleigh says which makes Jay look at her directly in her blue eyes that he could look at for the rest of his life.

Jay doesn’t know what to say as he looks back down to the strawberries and he knows that she’s right. He’s not evil, he's just been doing what he was raised doing, which is stealing, it’s not what he wanted to do, but his father kept telling him to do it as that was what’s right. Also because he needs stuff for his shop.

He doesn’t want to steal anymore as it doesn’t make him happy, but being with Charleigh makes him happy. He knows that when they steal the wand at the coronation that she wouldn’t want to date him as he will be going back to the island, and free his father and his little sister.

Along with the rest of the villains and then they’ll take over the world. That’s not what he wants; he wants to be with Charleigh for the rest of his life.

“I think I know what love is.” Jay finally says after a good minute of silence between the two as he has a million thoughts in his head.

Charleigh just smiles as the two of them both lean forward and they kiss each other again, this time it's a little longer than the first.
