Two.
So, uh, here is the promised chapter. I hope you like it.

It had been almost a fortnight after Gaea's defeat at Leo's hands. Camp Half-blood had rebuilt thanks to Annabeth, but morale still was low. Everyone remembered the war all too well as it took its toll every night where it haunted their dreams.
Percy Jackson laid asleep in Cabin 3 next to his girlfriend as she examined him. Neither of them would forget Tartarus and Annabeth Chase felt as if she had never left it, not with Percy near her.
Down there, even a breath of the poisonous air was a blessing; the burning sensation of the fire, a gift, for they meant you were still alive. But seeing Percy effect his control over the goddess' poisons, reveling in her suffering as she choked on her misery was an image that left her unable to breathe the toxicity around her, and certainly unable to feel the scorching of the lake of fire that reminded her that she was still human.
Perhaps it couldn't be helped. Percy was a child of Poseidon through and through. And everyone knew that Poseidon was the Father of Monsters. Yes, he did have human children, but who was to say Percy was one of them?
At least he was having good dreams, Annabeth mused. He was smiling in his sleep. Gods, how long had it been since anyone of them had good dreams? Percy insisted that he always dreamt and slept better if Annabeth was with him and Annabeth tried to think if the same applied to her.
She wasn't sure. She desperately wanted to believe that it was, that whatever had possessed Percy in Tartarus had stayed there — away form them.
She didn't get her answer that night as a loud gasp chased away her trail of thoughts.
"Are you alright?" Annabeth asked urgently at her partner. "What is it?"
He blinked a few times before answering. "I... I am not sure. I was dreaming — it was nice don't worry, and then I felt as if something had stucked me. It was... frightening and odd."
She couldn't reply as she found herself interrupted by Jason's voice at the other side of the door.
"Percy! We need your help! It's not that bad so don't panic but it's still urgent!"
Annabeth gave him a reassuring smile. "Don't worry about that, they need you now. You should go."
He gave her a chaste kiss on the lips while she tried not to flinch at the close distance and shared intimacy.
She failed, and Percy noticed. "Are you okay? Did something happened? If it did, I'm sure Jason can wait a bit."
Even after everything, he still managed to be sweet and caring to her. It made her feel somewhat dirty.
"No, no, it's just the usual stuff. Don't worry," she said, lying through her teeth. "Go."
Percy looked at her one more time to make sure she was really fine before nodding reluctantly.
"Coming, Jason," he said louder as he left the bed and opened the door.
"What is it?" Percy yawned as he uttered the question.
Even though concern and regret were visible in Jason's face (since it was obvious to him that he had awoken Percy and these days it became a miracle if any of them got four hours of sleep), it was a true testament to the Romans' teachings that he decided to go back to the matter at hand. "There is a new kid, Perce, but he is... well, a mess. And I think you might be able to calm him a little."
"Why me? Aren't there other people in Camp?"
"Just... follow me, please."
Percy nodded courtly and followed suit towards the lake. There, he finally understood why exactly they needed his help to resolve this quickly. In the dim light of the moon, Percy spotted a boy no older than him standing on the water, presenting no more difficulty than if the surface was made of stone.
After the Titans' War, Percy's dad had told him that perhaps he would send his way the rest of his offsprings, but he had thought the man was teasing after no one had appeared.
Now, perhaps he was thinking that they had taken their time to come.
"Hey, dude!" Percy said, making his way through the crowd of people that surrounded the lake. "A bit early to be awake, don't you think?"
He sighed after his poor attempt at lightening the mood.
"My name's Percy Jackson," he introduced himself before continuing, "why don't you come here and tell me your name? You must be exhausted and we can't give you a bed if you don't step out of the lake. And, by the way, nice trick. Took me a while to figure out I could do it. I... I promise, you are safe here." Then, he added, "I am going to walk towards you, okay? Is that okay?"
The red-headed guy didn't reply but that wasn't exactly a negative answer so Percy did as promised, walking slowly above the water. The more he approached, the more he noticed how shaken the guy was. His hands were trembling, his eyes had a lost and broken look to them and his lips were quivering so much Percy wondered if the guy was going to break down crying any moment now.
"Hey," he said once more, this time more softly so they wouldn't be overhead. "Whatever it is, I promise I'll do what I can to make it right."
Looking at the guy, Percy briefly remembered being in his position so many years ago. Something terrible had just happened and he was introduced to this new world of gods and monsters. It had been overwhelming. And if there was anything he could do to help another one in that position, he would. He was going to help.
Gods be damned. If they couldn't afford to be in the lives of their children, Percy was going to make sure he was.
"My name is Dante Thyllous," the boy — Dante, said. He looked younger up close, maybe 14 or 15. "He... he died. They... they had only one eye and they ate him. I don't even know how I am doing this... standing on the lake... it should be impossible..."
Percy grimaced. "I'm sorry for what happened with your friend but I am going to tell you something, okay? It may sound ridiculous but it's the truth... to... to explain everything that's happening right now."
This time Dante looked directly at him, and Percy could see fear in their mismatched colours.
"All the tales you've heard, about gods, goddesses, mythological creatures..." Percy explained, "they are all true. The greek gods are very much real as well as all the monsters they created. This place it's called Camp Half-Blood and it's one of the few places demigods like us — children of the gods with humans — can be safe. What you saw was probably a Cyclops. They aren't all bad, I swear, but some are... well, not nice."
Disbelief could be spelled in Dante's face. It was understandable, though. "Are you saying that I am son of some immortal being that was created to explain why the sun sets each day?"
"Well, when you put it like that it does sound a bit mad." Percy's lips turn upwards. "But, yeah, to put it simply. Though I suspect you are no son of Apollo. I was thinking, maybe Poseidon? Or one of his children."
Dante seemed to be examined him from top to bottom. "You mean, like you? That's why you can do it too, right?"
Percy nodded and tried to coaxed him into following him to land but before he could convince him, a light blinded him.
It was a trident floating over Dante's head, the mark of Poseidon. He was being claimed.
"All hail him," said Chiron's voice behind them, making them turn in his direction and gasp in Dante's case.
"Dante Thyllous," Percy said, making his voice louder so it would be heard by everyone, "son of Poseidon."
Percy offered his hand to Dante, and a friendly smile. He took it, returning with one of his own.
And like that, the wheels of fate changed, and any hope of a tranquil life banished for Percy Jackson.

THIS TIME I HAVE AN OUTLINE SO I WON'T JUST BE WRITING WHATEVER SHIT I DID BEFORE and I already planned out 28 chapters that have an actual plot going on. There is going to be more than 28 but I think it's a good start. Just telling you now, 27 is probably one of my favourites so far and 28 is very sad (if everything goes according to plan, of course).
I will try to be constant in updating but the corona is not helping at all.
If I make any mistake, please tell me right away.
