Where It Begins

[In a Dream and Age 7]

I quickly sit up from my nap and look around to find myself in the middle of a large field surrounded by tall grass that dances with the wind blowing past my (h/c) hair. I look around taking in the unfamiliar scenery and grasping tightly onto the long white flowy dress I was wearing.

"Sherri? Simon?" I call out my siblings' names as I began to tear up standing from where I was sitting and began to walk around.

"Mommy! Daddy! Where are you!" I cry out to my parents as I began to pick up my pace spinning my head around in all directions searching for my family.

I sniffle a little wiping the tears from my eyes as I began to cry out. I kept wandering around in the tall grass.

"Hey," I stop in my tracks sniffling.

"Are you okay?" I turn around to be face to face with a slightly taller boy with sharp narrow gray eyes and a straight black hair styled in an undercut.

"W...Who are you? *sniffles* You aren't my brother or my daddy," I felt the tears stream down my cheek.

The boy just stares down at me with a blank expression with his gray eyes staring deep into my glassy (e/c) eyes. I couldn't help but keep crying as I try to hold back by grabbing onto the end of my white dress as the tears drip down my cheek falling onto the floor. The boy kneels before me but that didn't stop me from crying.

"Hey," He calls out to me.

I couldn't stop crying.

"Jeez, such a pain..." He mumbles.

"I...I...I'm...I'm so...sorry!" I kept crying as I apologize.

He clicks his tongue as he grabs onto my cheeks and wipes the tears away.

"If I keep you company will you stop crying?" He says in a bored tone making me look into his eyes.

"Mhmm," I nod to him.

"Good,"  He quickly responds as he continues to wipe my tears away and my snot running down my nose. "So dirty."

"Sorry," I muffle as he wipes my nose with his sleeve but he quickly wipes the sleeve onto his shorts. 

We didn't do anything else for a moment as he stands up straight and just looks around with an unreadable expression on his face. I felt an urge to hold onto his hand and so that's exactly what I did. I slowly reach my hand out to grasp around his fingers. He slowly turns back to me as I got nervous and tighten my grip around his fingers.

"M...My name is (y/n). Can I have yours?"

"Levi," Is all he said.

I SUCK AT SOCIALIZING!

"How old are you Levi?" I ask nervously.

"I am 10," Levi says as he notices my nervousness and takes my whole hand into his making me blush red.

"L...Levi?!" I began to blush like crazy.

"You are getting nervous. Don't be afraid I'm not gonna hurt you," Levi didn't show much expression but I could the seriousness and tenderness in his words.

I nod flustered as I stare at our intertwining hands smiling to myself. We began to walk slowly as we just roam around in the tall grass.

"You have really warm hands Levi."

He blushes a little but lets out a cough to cover it.

"I feel really happy being here with Levi."

No response as we kept walking.

"Levi has really pretty eyes."

We walk further and further into the tall grass until we came upon on top of a hill with a strangely large tree. Levi stops but I didn't notice since I was staring into his back and run into it letting out a small yelp.

"Jeez, watch where you're going," He finally says.

"Hehe sorry Levi. I really really really like you and I couldn't stop staring at you," I giggle oblivious to his behavior being so young.

"Whatever."

I smile as let go of Levi's hand and began to jump around the tree and spun around dancing a little.

"This tree is huge! Like hugeeee!" I state as I stretch my little tiny arms as wide as they could as I exaggerate the size of the tree.

Levi just sits down against the tree leaning his back against it and stares up at the branches as sunlight beams through the openings between the leaves. I laugh and sing as I continue to go around the tree.

"Levi!" I call out to him as I run to him.

He had his eyes shut as I made my way over to him. I slow down and stood beside him staring closely at his face. I smile as I place a peck on his cheek. Levi then lets out a soft groan as his eyes slowly flutter open revealing those silver gray eyes. He sighs rubbing his eyes.

"Sorry did you need something?" Levi asks waking up.

"Levi!"

"Yes?"

"Say my name!"

"Huh? Why?"

"Just say it!" I pout to him as he sighs giving in a little.

"(y/n)," Levi says my name in a low soft tone.

"I love you Levi!" I sent him a close eye smile as I lean in close to his face.

"HUH?!" He furrows his eyebrows confused but he still had some pink and red dusting his cheeks.

"I love Levi!!!~" I shout at the top of my lungs as I hug him wrapping my arms around his chest and I look up at him giggling.

"Why are you even saying that?" Levi's blush is now more visible.

"Because I love everything about Levi. Is that bad?" I began to tear up a little puffing my cheeks as I pout again.

He opens his mouth but slowly closes it as he stares down at my tiny pouting form as he lets out a small laugh smirking as he caresses my cheek. This action made my eyes shoot wide open as he leans closer placing his forehead on top of mine as the tip of our noses touch each other.

"Do you really love me?" He asks.

I was in complete and utter awe to see the amount of emotions in his eyes.

"Yes!" I quickly respond.

"Will you love me forever?" He chuckles which sounds like music to my little ears.

"Yes forever!"

"Pinky promise?" He extends his pinky out to me.

I stare at his pinky and smile happily wrapping my tiny pinky around his.

"I pinky promise!~ I will love Levi forever!~"

Oh how young and innocent I was....
