Lily's POV:

I go quickly take a hot shower with a Lavender scented shampoo that I know James loves.

Flashback:
"Hey Evans" James says sitting next to me in chemistry class
"Go away Potter" I say rolling my eyes
"What's that smell" he says putting his nose in the air
"What smell" I say confused
"The good one. It smells like lavender" he says smirking
"You like lavender? You? James Potter?" I say laughing
"What's so funny about me liking lavender" he asks
"It's just the fact that a hard ass jock likes something so soft and whimsical" I say
"Oh shut it" he says turning back around
End of flashback

I get out of the shower with a towel wrapped on my body and another on my head. I walk into my room
And look at my closet. I then choose a cute green autumn dress and knee length black leather boots with a 3 inch heel.
As I'm getting dressed petunia and mum walk into the room
"Hello sweetie" my mum says awkwardly smiling
"Hey...mum" I say looking up
"So I have a question" petunia says
"Ok ask" I say putting on my boots
"What happened last night between you and James" she asks sitting on my bed
"Nothing" I say
"Really...tell us everything that went on" my mum says joining petunia on the bed
"Fine...I couldn't sleep last night knowing James was on the couch, and I knew that he wouldn't be able to sleep on my bed without you guys going crazy so I joined him on the couch. And he kinda...said something" I say smiling
"What did he say?" petunia asks returning the smile
"He told him that He loved me" I say as my mum and petunia start jumping up and down
"Why so soon though" petunia asks
"He has had feelings for me since the end of last year, I just never admitted mine until a while ago. Plus he's been telling me that he loves me for a while. I just never said it back because I'm waiting for a good time" I say putting on a pretty pinkish lipstick and then going to dry my hair

"Have fun" they both say at the same time as I walk down the stairs. I have on pretty dangling earrings and a nice necklace. My hair is in big voluminous curls that James always comments on

Right as I walk to the bottom of the stairs I hear the doorbell. I open the door to see James in a nice dress shirt and dress shoes. His hair was as messy as ever and I love it. In his hand was a bouquet of roses.
"You look so beautiful" he says as he hands me the bouquet
"You look incredibly handsome" I say as he leans in and kisses me
"Let's go" he says grabbing my hand
As we walk up to the car, I realized how much taller James is than I am! I'm even wearing heels.
"Where are we going" I ask smiling
"That's a surprise" he says as we drive off

A couple minutes later, we arrive to the breakfast spot he took me to the day we kissed for the first time. He pulls out my seat and I sit down. I grab a menu as James sits across from me
"So what should we order" I say looking up from the menu to see James starring at me
"You're just so amazing...I love you so much" he says grabbing my hand on the table
"I love you" I say while leaning across the table and kissing his cheek.
"Hello I'm Oscar" the waiter says coming up to us
"Hello" I say squeezing James' hands tightly
"What would you like to order" he asks preparing his notepad
"Can I have the blueberry pancakes with the side of eggs" I say
"And can I have the same but with bacon instead of eggs" James says
"Ok, any tea?" Oscar asks
"One pot of English black please" James says
"Got it, have fun" he says as he walks away

I turn to James and smile
"I want you to meet my parents" he says
"Ok" I say smiling nervously
"Are you scared" he gasped Shockingly
"To be honest, kind of" I say
"They're going to love you just like I do" he says making me smile
The food comes and it looks amazing!

After we eat our breakfast and drink our tea, the check comes.
I pull out my wallet but James beats me to it.
"It's on me babe" he says making me smile
"Thank you" I say walking up to him and sitting next to him
After a minute of us hugging, we get up and leave.
We get into the car and drive to a park. We walk out a go to a bench next to the river and sit down.
"It's so beautiful" I say looking around the park
"I'm enjoying my view" James says, making me giggle. He then gets up and reaches out for my hand
"May I have this dance"
I roll my eyes with a giggle
"Yes you may" I say giving him my hand and getting up
He twirls me and pushes me in closer to him. He leads with such graceful steps. We dance for half an hour and talk about class and the future. It suddenly starts raining hard
"Let's go" I say grabbing his hand and attempting to run back to the car but he suddenly pulled me back in and lifting me up
I start laughing as James puts me down and starts running away randomly. I start chasing him, and end up tackling him to the ground
"I love you" he says
"I love you" I say kissing him
"Let's go before we get you sick" he said getting up and taking me home
"Bye cutie" I say kissing him
"Bye lavender shampoo" he says
"You noticed" I ask
"Of course I did" I kiss him once more and go back into the house
