Lily's POV:

I never thought that would ever happen. Potter kissed me and I liked it. I knew I had feelings but I didn't know they were this strong! He took me to breakfast and took me shopping. I finally realized the type of sweet person James really is. He's picking me up for school in 5 minutes and I've never been this nervous
"Lily" petunia calls as she comes to the room
"Yes tuney"
"Is that James kid picking you up"
"Yes he is" I proudly say
"So are you official"
"I'm waiting for him to ask" I say curling my last strand of hair.
Suddenly I hear a car honk
It's him!
"Ok bye tuney" I say Russian kissing her cheek (iykyk)
I run downstairs and leave the house.
I quickly go into the car and close the door behind me.
I turn around to look James in the eyes and kiss him
"Good morning beautiful" he says as he breaks the kiss
"Good morning cutie" I say kissing him again
"I'm taking you out on Saturday" he says holding my hand to his heart
"You are so sweet, I don't know how I stayed away from you all these years" I say kissing his cheek
"Come on let's go we're gonna be late for first period" I say as he starts driving

We get to school just a few minutes before first period so we had time to kill. James was holding my bag and was holding my hand. Everyone was looking at us and I hated it.
"Hey James, lily" Remus says happily
"Hey Rem" I say hugging him
"Hey Rem you should come with us tonight, we're all meeting up at my house" James says hugging Remus
"I can't I'm babysitting Nymphadora Tonks" he says
"Aww shes adorable" James says
I love how he loves children so much, it just makes me feel so good
"So are you two..." Remus asks with a smile
"Well" I turn to James "that's for me to decide during lunch"
He pouts and I automatically kiss him
"I'll take that as a yes, congratulations guys" Remus says walking to his class
"Let's go to Chemistry, you know how Slughorn gets when we're late" I say
"Slow down" he says
"No I need my GPA to go from a 3.97 to a perfect 4.0" I say running to my class before the late bell rings

James POV:
When it's time for lunch, the whole gang say at our usual table. Everyone except for lily
"Where's lily" I ask Marlene
"No clue" she says
"She's probably in the bathroom" Mary says
"Where's Remus though" Alice asks
"Probably With his girlfriend Sarah" I say
"Sarah as in Sarah Abrams?" Peter asks
"Yea dude they've been together for a couple months on the DL" frank adds
"He didn't tell me" Sirius adds looking hurt
"Sirius he told us months ago, you just don't listen" I said making everyone laugh
Suddenly Remus and Sarah come to the table
"Hey everyone I think you guys should be up for this" he says
"How come?" I ask getting up
"Shut up and you'll see" he adds
I then see lily walking in
"CAN I GET EVERYONES ATTENTION FOR A MOMENT" she yells as everyone looks at her
"I've been the biggest asshole to one person my entire life for no reason once so ever and recently he showed me how much of a amazing person he can be, and he did something I thought would never happen...he brought out a side of me I left a while ago and I really really like him for that" everyone looks so confused but excited at the same time. I can't take this big smile off of my face
I look over at snape who is smiling, probably thinking it's about him
She continues
"I'm gonna do something I never thought I did" and she instantly looks at me
"James Potter" she comes up to me
"Will you do me the honor of being my boyfriend and take me out on one of those cheesy dates"
I just collide my lips onto hers and everybody cheers
"Hey boyfriend" she says smiling
"Hey girlfriend" I say
"Lily can we talk" snape says coming up to lily
"No" she says turning back to me
"Fine I'll talk, you really chose him over me?" He asks
"Yes, he was here for me through thick and thin plus you called me a slut"
Snapes face was red and he looked like he was gonna hurt someone
"Lily just come with me" he says putting his hands on her
"Get your hands off of her" I say through my teeth
"Or what"
"Or else you're hand is gonna go so far up your ass that you're chocking on your own bullshit" Remus says as him, Sirius and peter stand behind him
"Mhm so sweet of you Werewolf Mcwerewolf"
"Mhm greaseballs got a attitude" Remus says stepping up
"You're the dirty bitch, you hang out with the trash"
"Say something 'bout my friends again I dare you" Peter says staying behind me
"You're trashy just like your mom" snape says to me
"THATS IT" Sirius screams, tackling snape
"NOBODY TALKS ABOUT MY MOM AND DAD LIKE THAT"
"Your real parents hate you" snape whispers to Sirius as Sirius hits harder
"GET OFF OF HIM" Headmaster Dumbledore yells

After they get separated, and everyone got prepared for the party and came over my house a couple hours later.
