Lily POV:
I've hated James Potter ever since the first day of middle school. My ex best friend Severus who I left in sophomore year was tormented by the marauders for years and I always tried to help until the one day everything went down hill.
"Hey snivi" cried Sirius
"Snivillus snape" Peter mocked
"Leave me alone" he said
James and Sirius then started fighting Severus. It was 2 football players against a dweeb
"LEAVE HIM ALONE" I run down the hallway attempting to pull of James off of Severus.
Once they both are off of Severus, I start yelling.
"HOW DARE YOU" I say to James more than Sirius
"Oh shut up" I here Severus whisper
"What" I ask shocked
"SHUT UP" he screams
"YOU ACT LIKE YOU'RE PROTECTING ME WHEN YOU'RE REALLY JUST DICK RIDING THEM"
"DON'T TALK TO HER LIKE THAT" James starts
"I'LL TALK TO THE SLUT ANYWAY I WANT TO"
I ran away
My best friend called me a slut..

But anyways I'm over it now! I've become best friends with Marlene, close friends with Alice and Mary and good friends with people like James, Remus, Sirius, and Peter.
It all works out in the end one way or another
