Mike (the owner of The Hogshead) POV:

Today Marlene, Sirius, Peter, James, Lily, Mary, Remus and frank and Alice want to audition for the open spots. Since they all sing, I thought it would be smart to have them all be the entertainment. When one or two of them go and sing, the others would wait the remaining tables and bar tend.

I hear the door open and in walks in the gang.
"Hey guys" I say. They all great me with a nod or a handshake then take a seat at the table.
"So who wants to bartend?" I ask. Sirius and Frank both raise their hands. I give them a nod and write it down.
"I'm guessing everyone else is wait staff?"
"Yep" lily says as I nod my head and write it down
"I'm guessing everyone is now going to audition for the entertainment" James blurts out
"Of course" Remus says
"Who's going first?" I ask
"I am" James says getting up. Not gonna lie, I'm really looking forward to this one. I still can't believe a 34 year old man like myself is looking forward to something as small as this instead of the birth of my child but here we are.

My girlfriend is a older version of Mary with a hint of Marlene and a dash of lily. She's 8 months pregnant and is due in a couple weeks! We're having a son and his name will be Faris.

James goes up but I see remus and sirus go with him
"James-" I question but he beats me to the response
"They're my backup" he says with a faint smile. I see lily give him a certain type of look.
'I love you' James mouths. Lily winks at him then smiles. I turn my head to the right slightly and see Sirius staring at a tired Marlene. I've noticed that she's gained weight over the last week, but that's not my business to present.
"You may start" I say with a nod. James nods back and starts

I see Marlene get up and rush to the bathroom. Mary runs after her. I finally realized it! She's pregnant! That's why they came for the jobs. I turn my attention back to James

I see Marlene walk back into the room and sit down. Sirius kept eyeing her

"Thank you" I say. The boys go sit down .
I turn to James and lily who are cuddling on a seat.
"You're my favorite" I hear lily say to James causing Marlene, Sirius and Mary turn around
"BITCH" Sirius gasps.
"Oh lord Sirius" lily giggles
We all laugh it off
"Ok Marlene, you wanna go next?" I recommend with a soft smile. She hesitantly looks around then nods. Her frail body gets onto the short stage

"uh...ok um I'll start" she breaths heavily and starts singing

she looks as if pain wasn't the worst word used to describe the state she was in. I quickly glance at lily and James who were in each others arms, listening to their mate sing. I then glance at Sirius who sighs and turns to Peter. I avert myself back to marlene

"Thank you Marlene" I say as she sits down
"Ok lily you're next" I say as I jot random things down
"Ok" she perks up off of James and goes on stage.
She begins softly

lily is a tough and smart girl but she's starting to become looser and fun since she's been hanging out with the marauders. I remember when they first met in this pub back when my dad owned it. I remember how James refused to stop talking to Marlenes 'new' best friend. Lily hated the boys but since they were friends with Marlene, she had to deal with them. Soon over the years, I started seeing less of Severus with lily and more of James. I'm proud of my mate for getting the girl of his dreams and I hope it all turns out well. I step back down to reality and turn to lily

"Um, Peter and I are going together" Sirius says getting up and dragging out just guitar.
They both get on stage"

I'm not gonna lie, I'm interested in this song and how it's gonna work because I never heard peter sing here so I ask

"Oh billionaire" peter says. I'm astonished!
"Sirius can rap?" I ask surprised
"No...I rap" peter says making everyone gasp
"Stoppppppp" I hear Mary gasp
"What? Is it bad?" Peter asks breathing heavy
"No...it's kinda hot" Mary says quietly
I'm not gonna lie, what a fucking plot twist! Mary thinks PETER is hot for rapping..

Before they start I get a call from my girlfriend Elise I apologize quickly and answer the phone
"What's up sweetie" I ask calmly
"I'M HAVING-...THE F-...BABY" I hear her yell into the phone. My eyes go wide as I put on my coat and get my stuff prepared
"I'm sorry guys, Elise is having the baby. You all got the job, I know you guys can sing I just wanted to have some fun with it" I say quickly
"Good luck mate" Sirius says to me
"You too Sirius" I say to him as his eyes grow wide. Mary and Alice break out laughing and Remus joins them. Lily gives them the 'I'll kill you' look and they all stop except Remus
"I'm- I'm sorry it's just- too-" he can't even finish his damn sentence with laughing
"What do you mean" Marlene asks
"Marlene I know you're pregnant" I say
"No I'm not" she claims
"Sure your not" i quickly leave the place and get into my car.
