Marlenes POV:

I'm pregnant. Knocked up. Having a human grow inside of me. Nothing can get worse....except for the fact that Sirius and I have to tell his parents and my parents.
We chose to tell my parents first tonight and the Potters tomorrow.
"You ready?" I ask Sirius as he grabs my hand
"No. But if not now then never" he says leading me down the spiraling staircase. We see my mum in the kitchen and dad reading the paper on the sofa. I quickly blurt out
"I have something to say"
"What is it dear" my concerned mum asks as she joins my father on the couch. Sirius holds my hand tighter
"I love your daughter" he starts
"Are you guys engaged?" A overjoyed Melissa Magnolia McKinnon asks
"No, but I do love your daughter and I'll never leave her. Even on days where it gets bad, I will always be here"
"Sirius....what are you saying" dad asks in a stern voice
"I'm pregnant" I say making my parents jump up
"WHAT" my mum screams
"I'm sorry I never meant for it to happen, but Sirius and I talked about it and we're keeping it" I say through the tears pouring down my face
"Marlene with what money are you prepared for a baby? What job? You have school you need to finish!" Mum says starting to tear up
"We will get jobs at the Hogshead" Sirius says making my dad look up
"You...did this to my baby?" He asks
"She's not a child anymore, and for the record she is the love of my life" Sirius bravely says
"Ok good luck but to be straight your mother and I are gonna have nothing to do with it. we're not helping" Dad storms off to the other room as my mum just stares at us
"Good luck. I'll support you but good luck being a good set of parents" she then joins my dad in the other room.
"God Sirius we fucked up"
"No we didn't. We're gonna love this baby just as much as we love eachother"
"I love you" I fight through more tears
"I love you too" he kisses me gently

T I M E   J U M P   T O    T O M O R R O W

I ring the doorbell of the potters and to my surprise lily opens the door
"Hey lil" I say in a shocked manner
"Hey, I was just helping Euphemia with party planning. We we're about to call you to come help." She says letting me in
"So when are you telling them" she asks
"Right now...."
"Oh shite I'm out" she says running up the stairs. Sirius starts walking down the stairs with Euphemia and Fleamont
"Hi sunshine" I say kissing his lips
"They're just so adorable" fleamont whispers
"We need to tell you guys something." Sirius says
"What is it dear?" Euphemia asks
"Mom...Dad...I love you guys. You've done everything for me and I'm blessed to have a family like your family when mine wasn't the best" Sirius starts with tears in his eyes
"And I don't want to disappoint you guys like I did to Walburga and Orion."
"Sirius, you could never disappoint us" fleamont says with a sad smile. I look up to see lily and James staring at us from the top of the stairs. Lily throws me a thumbs up.
"I'm pregnant" I say stepping up
"Oh-" Euphemia says making Sirius look down in disappointment
"Congratulations" she said as her and Fleamont hug us. I hear lily and James giggling.
"Aren't you upset?" I ask
"It's your life Marlene. You guys did what you wanted. We had no say in it and so we choose not to have a say in it" fleamont says
"How many weeks are you?" Euphemia asks
"I don't know. Since you're a OBGYN can you check for me?" I ask
"Of course darling....IM GONNA BE A GRANDMA" she squeals happily and runs out of the room
"Your mother, the grandma" fleamont says as he rolls his eyes with a laugh. He gives Sirius pat on the back and walked out of the room.
Lily runs down the stairs in a giggling fit
"YOU'LL NEVER CATCH ME" she screams. James suddenly comes tumbling down the stairs. Lily immediately cups her hands over her mouth and then starts laughing. Sirius runs over to help him up
"You okay mate?"
"Mhm just peachy" James responds running towards lily and chasing her out the door.
"They need to get married after high school" I say to Sirius who is now hugging me
"Oh shite how are we gonna tell everybody from school? They're gonna find out anyways" Sirius asks
"Well we could announce it already if the baby is more than 12 weeks"
"I dunno Mar" he looks down as he says
"Let's not worry about this at the moment babe" I say giving Sirius a kiss. The kiss got deeper and deeper by the moment, turning it into a snog.
"Careful that's how you got pregnant" James says as he and lily walk hand in hand into back the room
"James" lily scolds as she hits him on the shoulder making James wince in pain

James POV:

"How is lily not pregnant?" Padfoot asks as he gets scolded by Marlene
"Sirius, I'm a virgin" lily says with a chuckle
"Mhm" is say kissing Lily's lips
"I'm gonna go upstairs, Sirius would you like to accompany me?" I pull Sirius' arm and drag him up the stairs. Once we get to the top, I look Sirius at Sirius and smile like a fool
"you alright mate?" He asks
"I'm gonna propose to lily. I don't know when. I don't know how. I just know that it's going to happen in the near future." I say
"Jesus Christ man, you just started dating the girl, don't push it" Sirius says flicking his finger on my forehead
"Padfoot you're gonna be a dad." I say in defense
"I know, I fucked up! I don't even like children. But Marlene and I love eachother and will do anything for this to work" he says
"Then I guess I'm proposing to lily in the spring and no one is gonna stop me" I say with a smile. Sirius laughs and starts walking down the stairs. We see a note from Marlene reading

Sirius, we've gone to you're mothers office to see how far along I am. Bring James.

"Let's go" Sirius says as he rushes out the door and into my car.

About five minutes later we get to the office and run inside. The receptionist tells us that they are in room 11. We thank her and rush into the room. There on the bed in Marlene with her shirt lifted to reveal her stomach. Mum was preparing her materials and lily was guiding Marlene through life in general.
"Hey love" I say kissing lily then giving Marlene and peck on the forehead
"Hey" Sirius says but in a quite tone. Mum turns around and squirts a gel on Marlenes belly.
"It's cold as my heart" she whines
"Deal with it" Mum says with a chuckle. She turns the machine on and uses a probe to track the baby. On the screen we notice the finest hint of a dot
"Oh wow" Sirius says getting closer to Marlene
"It's ours" she says as he kisses her forehead
"Yea...it's ours" he gulps
Suddenly a heartbeat is heard
"Oh god" lily says walking towards me and hugging me
"You want one?" I ask with a smirk
"Someday"
I give her a peck on the lips and turn back to Mum
"Marlene you are 11 weeks along" she announces
"Wait? That means I got you pregnant on our first official date?" Sirius blurts out
"Oh god, then that's means I was pregnant during all the oth-"
"alright no need to go further with that topic of conversation" Mum says covering her ears.
We all laugh for a moment before everyone becomes quite.
"In 7 months I'm gonna be a uncle" I say proudly
"Yea, you are" Marlene says
"Mum, is it a boy or girl?" Sirius asks
"We'll find out in 3 months darling. No need to rush" Mum answered
"We gotta get jobs" Marlene says with a sigh
"We do" Sirius responds
"So it's agreed. The four of us, frank, Alice, Mary and peter will audition for the Hogshead tomorrow" lily says boldly
"You guys don't need jobs. Especially not peter, he's rich rich"
"We've discussed it yesterday. We're all doing it. We also called mike and asked him what positions were available and he said a band, a bartender, and waiters" lily argues
"Thank you guys so much" Marlene says
"It's really nothing"
