Remus' POV

I became dizzy at what I've just heard
"You're...what" James quietly asks
"I think I'm pregnant. I've been 2 weeks late" Marlene explains with a tear rolling down her face
"Did you take a test?" I ask
"I can't, Mary's mom owns the store" she says putting her head down on the table
"I'll go get you one then" James says rushing out of the place
"It's Sirius' child?" I ask
"Of course it's his! Who else's would it be" she says as she give me the death glare
"Would you keep it?"
"I'd have to, but I feel like Sirius would be hesitant to"
"Do you even want kids" I ask
"Of course I do, and I love Sirius and he would be a great dad. But I'm 17 and not even married yet" she frets
"You have any morning sickness"
"No but haven't felt good in a couple days"
"Wow" I say still trying to comprehend the fact that my childhood friend and one the closest people in earth might become parents. I remember Marlene always forcing me and James to play house with her and always helping Euphemia cook food for us.

"Sirius is gonna hate me" she says starting to cry
"No he's not. He's gonna love you and the baby" I say as I try to reassure her
"No. No he's not. I'm gonna be a horrible single teen mother who has nobody"
"SHUT THE FUCK UP ALREADY MCKINNON" I yell at her causing her to jump

"You're the strongest, bravest and most daring girl I've ever met. You know how much Sirius Black loves you and how much James, Lily, Mary, Alice, Peter, Frank and I love you. If there will be a baby, it will be the most loved child ever. Plus, do you really think SIRIUS black, the guy who was treated like shit by his own parents. The guy who was shunned by his father, is gonna leave you? He's like a brother to me Marls. He wouldn't do that" a tear rolls down Marlenes face
"I love you Remus" she goes to hug me
"I love you too"

James POV:

I'm in the shop looking for pregnancy tests. I find the perfect one and take 4 of them. Just as I walk up to the counter, I see a giggling Lily walking in with a smiling Padfoot
"PRONGS" he yells as he grabs Lily's hand and runs up to me
"...Pads" I say awkwardly as I attempt to hide the tests behind my back
"Hey babe" lily kisses my lips only to see me holding something behind my back
"What's that" she asks
"Nothing" I say making Padfoot walk up closer
"Prongs what is it" he asks with a friendly smile. I knew that if he found out what I held, his smile would disappear
"Oh god" lily whispers. Apparently while I was thinking about Padfoot, she snuck up behind me to take a look
"Where is she?" She asks through her teeth
"Lily I don't know what you're going on ab-"
"James Potter where is she?" She demands. I hate when she puts on that scary act because it truly does scare me
"POTTER"
"Alfrescos Bistro" I say as she runs out of the place
"Prongs what is behind your back" Sirius asks
"Nothing"
"James" Sirius says walking around me. I move just in time
"Sirius stop" I say
"No, it's something about Marlene isn't it?"
I say nothing
"Why would she come to me?" He asks looking hurt
"Sirius please don't asks anything"
"James tell me or I'm leaving and never speaking to you again"
"Sirius please"
"No james it's enough"
I slowly release my hands from my back and show him the boxes
"She's...pregnant" he mutters
"Pad-"
"Oh god, I'm gonna be a father" he says breathing fast
"She's not sure yet. That's why I'm picking it up for her" I say as I leave £20 on the counter. Padfoot and I exit the shop and make our way to the bistro. When we arrive we see a crying Marlene in the arms of Remus and a pacing lily. We also see Alice and Mary sitting across from them
"Mar" Sirius says. Marlene looks up. He face was tinted black from the running mascara. Her hair was in a messy bun
"I'm so so-sorry" she says as she gets up and walks towards me and Sirius
"I get it i-if you don't wanna be with me" she says looking down at the boxes of tests I had had in my hand. Sirius does the unexpected. He takes her into a tight hug and starts crying with her
"We're gonna need eachother now more than ever, aren't we Marls" he kisses the top of her head. Lily comes over to me and pecks my lips
"Thank you for being there for her" she says
"She's my childhood best friend. Of course I'll be there for her". Marlene comes up to me and kisses my cheek. "Thanks big bro" she takes the tests and makes her way to the bathroom.
We all sit down at a booth and start talking
"Lily called us over when she found out" Alice explains
"Wow, this is all bizarre" lily says as she leans her head on my shoulder
"I know. Imagine they become parents" I say making Remus chuckle.
"They're gonna be so fun as parents"
"I agree"
We see Marlene and Sirius walk out of the bathroom hand in hand
"It's true. I'm having a baby" she lets out giving lily a test that states "positive"
"Congratulations" we all say before Marlene breaks down crying
"Marlene can we talk in private" Sirius says as he grabs Marlene and walks back into the bathroom

Sirius' POV:

I just found out I'm going to be a dad. I'm trying my best to keep sane. I'm happy it's with Marlene but I'm 17! I'm not even planning on marriage for another 5 to 10 years! It's all moving too fast but there's not a doubt that I'm going to be here for that child and Marlene.
"Marlene" I say pulling her into a hug
"Are you gonna leave me?" She asks
"No. We're gonna have to get through this together" I say kissing her head
"It's gonna be a tough time but I'll be here and so will all of our friends"
"I love you Sirius"
"I love you too Marls"
