Lily's POV:

"Marls we gotta go" I say as I grab Marlenes hand and push her into a store
"Lily no! We both know how this goes. I'm gonna try to wear black and you're gonna try to stop me"
"I won't, we just need to find a nice dress" I say going through some racks
"What about your mum and petunia?" She asks
"They have nice dresses at home, but this is different to me, I'm going to my boyfriends family party"
"Ok I'll help, just don't go cat crazy" Marlene says grabbing a couple dresses from the racks.

Once we get all the dresses, we decided to have a fashion show to test them out. Marlene comes out first in a stunning black skintight dress with two straps

"Marlene it's nice" I say
"I feel so fat in this"
"That's not true" I say
"Anyways, not a fan" she says rolling her eyes and walking into the dressing room. A couple minutes later she comes out with another black dress but this time it had a more flowing bottom and more cleavage showing but still had two straps

"This is the one" she says as she checks herself out in the mirror
"Marlene it's beautiful but it looks kinda...umm too open" I say. It was true! Marlene was a very beautiful girl who had nice curves that she likes to show off a lot
"That's the point" she says as I get up and go into the dressing room. I put on a half black laced half emerald green satan dress that was beautiful!

I come out and show Marlene the dress.
"Lily it's marvelous" she says happily
"Then this is the one" I say as Marlene and I go back into our individual dressing rooms and change into our clothes, buy the dresses then go outside
"wanna meet up with the guys?" I ask
"Um I don't...I don't want to"
"Why not?"
"I'm not in the mood"
"Ok then, but I gotta meet up with Sirius anyways" I say
"Then I'll go hang out with Remus and James"
"Marlene what's going on" I start becoming concerned for my best friend
"It's nothing, I'll see you later" she says hugging me then leaving

I call up Sirius and ask him to meet me at a local bistro near the store. After 10 minutes I see Sirius come into the bistro and sat down across from me
"Hey Evans"
"Hey Black" I say giving him a menu
"What's up, why did you call?" he asks
"Because...we're friends" I bluntly say calling over the waiter

James POV:
Remus and I are sitting across a hyperventilating Marlene
"Where's Sirius, he should be here" Remus says pulling out his phone
"NO" she yells taking his phone
"Why not?"
"I've known you two since birth, and I need to eat something off my chest" she says looking up
"Marlene did you...cheat?" I ask
"James don't be daft" Remus shuts me up
Marlene just stares at us
"You didn't cheat...right?" Remus asks in a worried tone. She shakes her head and finally lets out
"I think I'm pregnant"
