It was spring break and my birthday was that past Monday. Now the day was Tuseday and I was foing to my first concert. I had on my Robert Plant shirt with his face on it. My dad got home around I think 4-ish. We then headed over to the venue. That night was my first concert. Robert Plant. Percy. The Golden God himself. I was so excited. We listened to Led Zeppelin the whole way over to the venue. You see, we, along with the majority of the people, had floor tickets, which meant if you want a good standing place, you better get there and stand in line. We got there I think about 6:30. The line was pretty long, but we were in the upper half of the line. When the time came closer for the doors to open, the line was stretched around the building. I should also mention my dad's friend from work was there. I'm just going to call her Sheena (Like the Ramones song) because I don't know if she wants to be in a book on Wattpad. So we were chatting with Sheena and the other people around us for an hour and a half. I had to get two black X's on my hand because I was under 21. Anyway the doors finally opened at 8:00. I got a T-shirt really quick then headed towards the stage.

     I got a standing place really close to the stage, and when I say close, I mean close. I was second row. Sheena tied my concert tee around her purse and I tried to get as close as I possibly could to the stage. I ended up standing next to this one nice but quiet 16-year-old girl. My dad and Sheena were behind me. But, let me tell you who was in front of me. To my right was a very tall man. He was probably over 6 feet, not kidding. And to my left was, get ready for this, a lady with clown makeup on. Now I saw this lady in the line before and I'm all for going out at concerts, but little did I know that this lady really got into it.

     The opening act, The Sonics, started to play and the lady, started getting into it. I was surprised she didn't break her neck or her head fell off her body. And she wasn't the "back and forth" head banger, she was the "swing her head all around" head banger. She also pulled out the good old "rock on" hand sign a lot. And this poor girl on my left, this clown lady didn't have really long hair (Thank God) but she still managed to keep hitting this girl with her hair all during the opening act. Then after about 30 to 45 minutes of playing, the opening act finished. This was also about the time my back started really hurting. It was around 10:00 and I hadn't sat down since 6:30 and wouldn't still until 12:00.

     After about 30 minutes of setting up for Robert and the Sensational Space Shifters, the show started. I was so excited and my back pain went away whenever he sang a Led Zeppelin song. He sang 6 Led Zeppelin songs which were, "The Lemon Song", "Black Dog", "Dazed And Confused", "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You", "Whole Lotta Love", and "Rock And Roll." The girl next to me, she put her hands over her mouth and I thought she was literally going to start crying when he started singing "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You."

     Also, the clown lady wanted to get a picture, but since we were really close, she couldn't get the entirety of the stage or Robert in it. So she would back in really close to me, really close to me. And I was on this platform so if I backed up anymore, I would be off the small platform. And I needed all the height I could get with the tall guy to my right.

     But really, the concert was so much fun. And, of course, Clown Lady was head banging, dancing, and having the time of her life. Despite the makeup and head banging, Clown Lady will always remain in my memories of crazy concert experinces.
